Los Angeles Legendary Sleuth

Chapter 355: Accident_2

Her attack rhythm disrupted, she covered her head with both hands and quickly retreated.

Offense and defense switched.

Luke rushed forward swiftly, executing a move that involved hugging the waist and hooking the leg, which directly brought Natasha down and had him mounting her.

"Bang..."

Luke swung his fist rapidly, continuing to attack Natasha's head.

Although they were up close, Luke's fists were heavy and fast, raining down like droplets, which left Natasha no choice but to cover her head to protect the vital parts; loosening her grip could have easily resulted in being knocked out.

Fortunately, Luke was wearing gloves, otherwise the consequences would have been unthinkable.

Seeing Natasha unable to counterattack and to prevent her from getting injured, Orty hurriedly called a stop, "Stop, first round, Luke wins."

After they separated, Luke reached out to pull Natasha up, "Need a break?"

"No, your boxing skills are impressive. Were you a professional before?"

Luke laughed, "My jujutsu is also quite formidable."

Natasha beckoned with her hand, "Then defeat me with jujutsu."

The two continued the bout, with Luke still being the aggressor, forcing Natasha to keep retreating.

Suddenly, Natasha charged forward, ducking low for a slide tackle, lying flat on the ground to escape the range of Luke's punches, and hooking his left leg with both of hers.

Natasha's move was extremely quick, and by the time Luke reacted, he was already caught in her leg hold; the position was uncomfortable and his fists couldn't reach the opponent.

Natasha immediately locked Luke's left leg with hers.

Next, the two engaged in a bout of wrestling.

Jujutsu is about ground technique, and the fight wasn't very visually appealing; victory depended on who could secure a more advantageous position.

If this had happened before Luke had learned jujutsu, he might have been taken down, but now that he knew jujutsu as well, he understood how to handle the situation.

Luke also took advantage by lying down, using his foot to press against the opponent's abdomen, preventing Natasha from making a submission move.

They stalemated for a while, with neither able to gain a better position, and they let go.

Luke stood up, but Natasha had no intention of getting up, sitting on the ground ready for action.

Luke was somewhat amused and exasperated by this tactic, as it rendered his boxing advantage useless.

At this point, Luke could only attempt a sweep, but that carried a certain risk; if Natasha caught his leg, she could easily employ ground technique and potentially get Luke into a submissive position.

Seeing Luke not attack, Natasha actually started scooting forward while sitting on the ground, attempting to lock his ankles with her feet.

Could you have some shame?

Luke was somewhat disheartened by her tactics; he still preferred the straightforward clash of boxing.

After several minutes of deadlock, Luke seized an opportunity, his right leg fiercely kicking towards Natasha's head.

Natasha guarded her head with her hands, while her right leg kicked toward Luke's left leg.

"Bang!"

Natasha was brought down by Luke's kick.

The leg Luke was standing on was attacked, and he lost his balance and also fell to the ground.

This exchange served both their purposes.

However, as Luke fell, his mind was clear, and he instinctively retaliated, his legs immediately hooking Natasha's left leg, locking it in place.

His right arm secured Natasha's ankle.

At this point, if Luke were to lean back and exert force, he could have caused her ligament damage, or even broken her ankle.

Natasha had been struck on the head by Luke's kick, and although it wasn't serious, the brief dizziness meant she couldn't free herself from Luke's hold.

Feeling the pain in her ankle, Natasha had no choice but to tap the ground, "Thump, thump..."

Orty shouted, "Second round, Luke wins."

With two consecutive victories, there was no need for a third round.

Luke's win was due to his physical advantage and more comprehensive techniques.

Firstly, Luke's boxing skills completely overwhelmed Natasha, forcing her to split her focus and unable to execute many jujutsu moves.

Secondly, even taking the risk of being struck to get close to Luke didn't guarantee that she could dominate him.

Although Natasha's jujutsu skills were sharper, if Luke gained the upper hand first, he could use jujutsu to dominate Natasha.

Just like before, Natasha was dazed by the hit to the head and although she managed to close in and take Luke down, Luke had the advantage and seized the opportunity to counter.

To put it bluntly, Natasha might be strong in jujutsu, but she had weaknesses; if one could exploit those, then they could gain the upper hand and defeat her.

But Luke had covered his weaknesses, making it difficult to find an opening; his techniques were more versatile, and his performance more stable.

"OK, you've graduated," Natasha said with a complex expression.

Luke smiled and said, "Coach, can I still learn jujutsu from you in the future?"

Natasha joked, "Of course, the leg lock you did just now... could have been even better."

Orty clapped and walked over, "Coach Natasha, congratulations on training such a formidable student."

Natasha forced a smile, "I haven't yet seen a referee who's so good at comforting others.

Thanks, it makes me feel a lot better."

Luke suggested, "Ladies, might I have the honor of inviting you both to dinner tonight?"

"Uh..." Natasha hesitated.

"Coach, your delivery is here," the voice of a young man came from downstairs.

Natasha spread her hands, "Sorry, I need to check on that."

Orty saw what she was getting at, "OK, let's rain check."

Under Natasha's somewhat cold goodbye, Luke and Orty left the Vaughan Jujutsu Club.

By that time, evening had fallen, and the shops around lit up their lights.

Luke glanced back at the club one more time, "Should I have gone for one more round?"
