Chapter 211: Wet Guild Mountain!
Since there was a Head Leader and a Third Leader, there would naturally be a Second Leader!
Within half a day, Maxwell had killed off all the Wet bandits inside Eden City. If everything went its course, this piece of news would quickly spread to the Wet Guild.
If Maxwell wasn't present...
The inhabitants of Eden City would be slaughtered, and blood would flow like a river. And the Gillette Household would naturally suffer a disastrous ending of being annihilated.
No matter what, Maxwell still had feelings for the Gillette Household because this was the first place he had arrived at after transmigrating. Now that those left in the Gillette Household were all brothers who had gone through life and death battles with him, there's no way he would let the Household suffer such looming threats.
Maxwell was chatting with Austin until midnight.
Maxwell then left behind a bunch of attributed beast cores.
After that, he left for the Wet Guild!
---
Wet Guild was about 500 kilometres away from Eden City.
It was situated on a lump of rock that had slowly made its way as a mountain, but it was still a dangerous place.
Below the mountain was a large roadway where merchants would definitely pass through.
Nighttime.
There were high winds, and the moon was covered.
A person a hundred feet away was running at high speed and was a blur to the eyes.
"Hey, quickly look and see if that's a human figure rushing towards us. Could it be a ghost?"
"Damn! Brother, you're an expert at the Gold Rank, and you're afraid of ghosts?"
"I think we should head in and sleep early. Since it's so late already, I don't think there'll be any customers coming by. In such a pitch black night, we might even encounter some unclean things."
Two people were whispering to each other.
The other person was originally unafraid, but after chatting for a bit, he too became a bit scared.
Immediately after, the two decided to head back up to the mountains to sleep.
Just when they turned around to head back up the mountain, a dark hand had rested on top of each of their shoulders.
"Gulp!"
"Hey, take your hand away. You can't be scared to this degree, right?"
"You should be the one to take your hand away. I didn't expect you to be even more scared than me."
"…"
Suddenly, the two glanced at each other before looking at the hand on their shoulders. Their face turned pale, and their legs started shaking. Their voice then started stuttering: "Just tell us what you need. Tomorrow we will burn more paper money for you."
"It's not a problem to burn a few pretty paper girls for you, too."
"Please mercifully let us two go. We still have elders and youngins to take care of."
The two of them almost pissed their pants.
"Cough!"
Maxwell gently coughed before stretching his neck between the two of them.
The two of them were so scared that their legs softened as they collapsed to the ground. One of them shouted: "Spare me! Spare me! I won't ever kill people ever again!"
Maxwell kicked one of them and asked in a low voice: "Is this place the Mountain where the Wet Guild resides?"
"Huh?"
"Huh?"
The two were stunned by this and realised it was an actual person when they looked closely. Their expression immediately turned to anger as they got up with a fierce glare. They immediately cursed out: "Damn dog bastard, you dare to pretend to be a ghost to scare us?! You're courting death!"
Without saying anything else, one of them directly slashed their blade towards Maxwell.
Maxwell frowned. Seeing the huge machete in the person's hand, he then said with a smile, "It shouldn't be wrong; this place is the Wet Guild."
Immediately after, his right hand moved and smashed out at the speed of lightning.
"Bam!"
A bandit was struck by a flying object before smashing against some rocks. His body had been ripped apart into several pieces before instantly dying.
Maxwell then grabbed the remaining person and said, "I'm going to ask you again: Is this place the mountain where the Wet Guild resides?"
"Yes!"
"Yes, yes, yes! Hero, please spare me!"
This time, he really pissed himself from fear. His pants became wet, and a continuous stream of liquid came out of the opening of his pants.
Maxwell coldly smiled and said, "Have you heard the news about the death of your Head Leader?"
"Head Leader?"
"He died?"
"Our Leader has died?" That person's eyes turned grim.
Hearing this, Maxwell faintly smiled and said to himself, "So the news hasn't reached here yet. That's good too. Then I might as well level this place to eliminate the threat to Eden City."
Immediately after, his right hand moved, and a fist smashed out. Maxwell then took off rapidly towards the top of the mountain.
---
Maxwell activated his spiritual will.
His sea of consciousness started surging about, and the grim reaper's path of slaughter power covered the entire Mountain. At the same time, Maxwell was standing in midair while shouting: "All bandits on this Mountain must scram out of here!"
His voice was extremely loud, and the accompanying mana allowed his message to spread through every corner of the bandit's lair.
Almost instantly...
Over a hundred burly figures rushed out while shouting: "Which damn dog bastard dares to act wildly in the Mountains?!"
"Fellow brothers, let's screw this guy over! We must play this damn dog bastard to death!"
"You ruined my beautiful dream! Just you wait until I cut your head off!"
A bunch of bandits were rushing out of houses with incomparably fierce looks and exuding powerful auras.
Maxwell was hideously surprised as he mumbled, "I didn't expect there would still be so many bandits on this Mountain. Looks like it was correct for me to come by here."
The strength of these bandits wasn't weak.
If they were to all rush into Eden City, then the consequences would be unthinkable!
It was very fortunate!
Maxwell secretly rejoiced. It was fortunate that he thought of this issue, or else the Gillette Household would forever disappear from Eden City.
Maxwell's eyes looked down before saying with a cold smile, "It was you guys that fouled up the atmosphere of Eden City, right? You guys also killed quite a few people, huh?"
"Where did a bastard kid like you come from?"
"Who are you?"
"Breaking into our Mountain in the middle of the night; you must be tired of living!"
A series of arrogant comments was heard. When they looked at Maxwell, they felt like they were looking at a fish on a cutting board. They could chop him into pieces anytime they wanted!
Maxwell's mouth curved into a smile and said, "Whoever I am, you guys will know in a bit."
Immediately after...
Maxwell roared out: "Level 2 Overdrive!"
"Bam!"
The power of four times his base attributes exploded forth, and his aura dramatically changed. The powerful aura directly forced these bandits to back away several steps. Also at this moment, Maxwell shouted: "Raining Fire Attack!"
Smoke clouds started gathering above the bandit's lair. Thunderous roars started echoing through the clouds, and the bright flashes of crackling flames were seen streaking about.
All the bandits became shocked, and some even started to panic.
They could clearly sense the terrifying aura coming from the thunderous clouds.
"It's this kid who caused it! Attack and kill him!"
"Everyone attack and kill together!"
"No matter who he is, we'll figure it out after we've killed him. Since he dares to intrude on our Guild, it still wouldn't be enough if he had ten extra lives!"
At this time...
Those bandits all rushed towards Maxwell. The large machetes in their hands gave off a cold light as they reflected the crackling lights flashing through the clouds.
Maxwell coldly sneered before shouting, "Bombard them for me!"
"Bam!"
Fireballs descended and covered a 50-meter radius.
With the strength of a level 2 diamond ranker, plus Overdrive's multiplication of base stats, this created a fire field that was basically a living hell. Wherever fireballs streaked by, lives were instantly reaped!
"Bam!"
Maxwell continuously activated Raining Fire Attack, and the mountain peak almost couldn't handle it anymore.
Those bandits were losing their lives at a crazy speed, and the system notifications were crazily sounding off in Maxwell's mind.
Suddenly...
An extraordinarily different notification tone was heard.
"Crackle!"
"Congratulations to player Maxwell Gillette for reaching 2000 badge points. Will you be exchanging it for a Titan Technique?"
"Hahaha..."
"Exchange! Exchange it for the Dragon's Titan Technique!"
