Chapter 210: Migration ( 60 )
Rowan stationed Blaze guard over the soldiers and departed with Winston for the night hunt.
At this moment, both of them were still seen strolling through the bushes, heading for the new hunting zone.
Winston walked behind Rowan, swinging his sword playfully while preparing himself to engage with the monsters.
Rowan glanced back from time to time, watching Winston.
He wished Winston would break through and evolve during this hunt, though he knew that was nearly impossible.

Special Skill: Sword Master
Status: Excited
'He is just a few thousand evolution points away from catching up to Bryce,' Rowan reflected inwardly.
In the beginning, Winston had less than ten thousand evolution points, but now he was still just a hundred points away from reaching forty thousand, which was impressive considering Bryce, the best overall, only has around 45,000 evolution points.
'A huge gap would definitely form between both of them after this hunt. Maybe next time, I would ask Bryce to partake as well, to keep the gap less partial.' Rowan thought.
Winston kept swinging his sword for the next one hour till they got to a clear space — It wasn't as big as the others, just enough for both of them to face off the monsters.
Rowan looked at Winston, "Are you ready?"
Winston nodded his head and took a pose immediately, spreading his legs out, clenching his sword tightly and furrowing his eyes to maintain focus.
'Looks ready,' Rowan noted inwardly.
Then he activated Hunter call.
The first ten second was quiet before the stomping sound of monsters approaching reverberated across the place.
Rowan brought out his dagger and braced himself for battle.
He turned to Winston once more and warned, "Stay close to me, Winston."
"Understood, Lord Rowan." Winston responded immediately.
Almost immediately, the first row of monsters shot out from the woods.
Goblins, wolves, monkeys, serpents and other monsters of FF and F rank poured out of the woods, a few E-ranks too that stayed back as usual.
Their eyes were cold and glowing red which revealed their location a little bit, making it easier to hunt them down.
However, one of the monsters caught Winston eyes the most — it was a gigantic serpent monster with brightly glowing scales that jumped down a nearby tree and darted towards him.
Winston's eyes furrowed as he placed his attention on the glowing serpent monster approaching, or he was forced to focus.
The glowing scales of the snake made it impossible for him to take his eyes off, which created a brief distraction for the other momstess to attack, leaving Winston kind of open and distracted.
Luckily, Rowan spotted this and moved first.
He inflicted deep injuries on the bigger monsters flocking around distracted Winston, causing them to fall to the ground helplessly and cry out for pain.
On the other hand, Winston stabbed his sword through the scale of the snake at the midpoint of its body, causing it to whine in pain.
While the serpent whined, Winston took the opportunity and inflicted more wounds on the snake while it moved.
The serpent got really pissed and slapped its body around vigorously.
It was able to send some smaller monsters around it flying.
Winston took several steps back to evade before locating the head and stabbing it, slaying the monster.
Rowan received a notification while slaying the other momstess that tried attacking Winston earlier.
"Learn to divide your focus amongst your foes. Monsters might be dumb but they can sneak attack." He warned without taking his eyes off then.
Winston thanked him for the advice hurriedly as he got engaged with two goblins who swung wooden bat at him.
Winston evaded the attacks of the short monsters quite easily.
He grabbed the weapon of one goblin with his free hand and pulled it towards him before stabbing his sword through his head.
The other goblin cried angrily and attacked crazily but it was layed to a painful rest with a tricky swing of Winston's sword.
Winston got better and better after each opponent he slayed.
He learned to create a space around himself and keep each opponent within the space under close watch.
It was midnight and the dimish glow of the moon, he was able to fight better.
He ran, dodged, slashed and stabbed as best as he could.
The stronger F and E-rank monsters that tried to end his life were easily taken care of by Rowan.
The weaker FF-rank monsters were handled by Winston.
At this point, Winston could slay these FF-rank monsters way easier than he could few weeks ago.
Back then it took at least two minutes to take down one FF-rank monster but now the FF-rank monster who challenged him didn't even last up to forty seconds before meeting their end.

Rowan received notifications after notifications about the monsters Winston slayed.
'He has gotten really fast, almost two notifications every minute, that is impressive. If he could maintain at least two kills in a minute, he would be able to slay at least one hundred monsters every hour and a total of two hundred in two hundreds which is equivalent to almost ten thousand evolution points,' Rowan calculated inwardly.
The more he watched Winston, the closer he felt to creating his dream soldier!
'If only the other soldier were as resilient as Winston, the monster trial wouldn't have been that difficult to face off against.' He could not help but sigh at this moment.
The only soldier capable of Winston feat and speed was Bryce.
The other captains performed really good but they were more of the gentle type, not the crazy ones that Rowan prefers.
'The hunting adventure this night was something else, I should wait and watch how they react and adapt to it, would it boost their desire to slay more monsters or reduce it?' Rowan kept wandering.
After the week-long hunting adventure is over, at least 70% of his soldiers might have evolved by then.
