Chapter 660: Hidden Realm
After Mo Fushui and the four others activated the black small swords, black light shot onto Sword Mountain, triggering a reaction. A sword hum echoed, and the surrounding mountains trembled, sending an inexplicable chill through everyone's hearts. It was as if there was wandering Sword Qi in the air within a kilometer, making one's skin crawl.
The black light emitted by the five black small swords focused on a single point, gradually expanding... ultimately transforming into a massive vortex with a diameter of over two meters. The black light surged and slowly rotated, intimidating anyone who looked at it.
"The Secret Realm entrance is open, everyone get ready," Mo Tianheng said.
Everyone shuddered, bracing themselves to enter the Secret Realm, where they would be severed from the outside world. Whether they could make it out alive depended entirely on their fate.
"Enter," Mo Tianheng shouted.
Simultaneously, the Elders of the other four families also gave the orders.
One after another, figures soared into the sky, flying towards the black vortex.
"Young Master Mo, if we get separated inside, we'll leave the agreed-upon markings, and I'll come find you," Qin Yi said, pausing.
Mo Wuji nodded, "You be careful too, Brother Qin."
The black vortex resembled the gaping maw of a fierce beast, swallowing figures one by one.
Mo Wuji dashed into the vortex and vanished instantly.
Qin Yi followed closely. As soon as he neared the vortex, a terrifying suction force dragged him in. Instead of resisting, his vision blackened then brightened, and in just a blink, he found himself inside the Secret Realm.
Qin Yi looked around at the green hills and trees; the environment was pleasant.
Is this the Hidden Realm? The surroundings aren't bad.
At this moment, he was standing atop a small hill, with no one around. It seemed like after entering the Secret Realm, they were randomly placed, and everyone was separated.
Qin Yi stretched, removing his wig and beard, finally able to reveal his true appearance now that they were cut off from the outside world.
Purple Light flowed, muscles shifted, and bones cracked as Qin Yi quickly resumed his original appearance.
"Hmm?"
Qin Yi suddenly looked down at where he stood. The small hill seemed to have moved just now.
It's said that the Secret Realm is filled with countless earthly treasures. Could there be a treasure hidden beneath this hill? Qin Yi's eyes shone with excitement. Could his luck be this good? Finding a treasure as soon as he entered seemed too fortunate to be true.
Qin Yi lifted his foot and stomped hard. With a thunderous crash, the small hill cracked from his fearsome strength, spraying out bright red liquid.
Blood?
Qin Yi smelled the scent of blood.
How could a hill bleed?
Before Qin Yi could react, the hill beneath him suddenly rose. Then came a low, booming roar like thunder, stinging Qin Yi's eardrums.
What the hell...
In a flash, Qin Yi appeared a hundred meters away, avoiding a gaping blood-filled maw with overlapping fangs.
Turning to look, Qin Yi's hair stood on end. This was no ordinary hill—it was a Molten Giant Crocodile.
Qin Yi was bewildered. What kind of place is this Secret Realm to have such a terrifying creature as a Molten Giant Crocodile?
The Molten Giant Crocodile wasn't really a crocodile but an offshoot of the pangolin, with no love for water and exceptional burrowing skills, capable of hollowing out a mountain in an instant.
The Molten Giant Crocodile before him was over fifty meters long and more than ten meters tall, its entire body the color of earth and stone like a small mountain. Its sharp fangs, resembling inverted daggers, were especially intimidating.
This Molten Giant Crocodile must have been sleeping and was startled awake by his stomp.
Qin Yi chuckled wryly. What rotten luck—he thought he'd found a treasure but ended up with a fierce beast.
"Brother Crocodile, I apologize for disturbing you. I'm leaving now, continue as you were," Qin Yi said, clasping his hands and quickly turning away.
However, turning back after some distance revealed the Molten Giant Crocodile was gone, leaving a giant pit on the ground.
Did it leave?
Qin Yi was amazed at its silent, high-level burrowing skills. If he could catch one and bring it back, he'd have something more useful than an excavator.
Bam!
Just as Qin Yi was about to leave, the ground suddenly collapsed, revealing the blood-red maw once more.
Even for Qin Yi, it was too late to react, and he fell into the mouth.
"What the hell, it stinks," Qin Yi complained loudly. The odor in this creature's mouth was worse than an outhouse, making his head spin and nearly vomit.
Whoosh!
With a swift move, Qin Yi slipped out through the Molten Giant Crocodile's fangs. The mouth was so big; Qin Yi couldn't even fill its gaps.
Crunch!
The Molten Giant Crocodile's jaw snapped shut, crushing the falling rocks into its mouth.
Qin Yi retched; the stench was so overpowering that his entire body reeked of the Molten Giant Crocodile's foul breath.
This creature was too cunning. He thought it had left, only to launch a surprise attack that even caught him unaware.
Roar!
The Molten Giant Crocodile growled, its massive head emerging from the ground, opening its gaping maw to bite at Qin Yi.
"Get lost, don't you know how stinky you are?" Qin Yi shouted angrily. With a punch, the Fist Light swept forth, blasting into the creature's mouth.
With a bang, several of its enormous fangs broke off, and its slimy tongue splattered blood.
In pain, the Molten Giant Crocodile screeched and with a slurp, retreated into the underground hole.
Hovering in mid-air, Qin Yi's eyes were as sharp as a hawk's, scanning the ground.
After waiting a long time, there was no movement. It seemed the Molten Giant Crocodile was scared and had fled.
"Smart animal," Qin Yi sneered.
Animals often have sharper senses than humans, and this Molten Giant Crocodile sensed the danger and fled.
Qin Yi grimaced, the stench clinging to him hopelessly. It was utterly nauseating.
He had to find a water source quickly to wash off this disgusting smell.
About ten minutes later, Qin Yi found a lake with clear water.
Qin Yi rapidly stripped himself completely naked and plunged into the water, first dog-paddling, then switching to breaststroke, backstroke next—if he peed while backstroking, someone might mistake it for a whale in the lake.
"Senior Sister, the lake water is so clear, let's rest here for a while."
Startled, Qin Yi slipped into the lake, leaving just half his head above water to watch.
He saw two women dressed in white, armed with swords, approaching—disciples of Baihua Pavilion.
"Hey, don't come any closer, someone's bathing in here," Qin Yi shouted, peeking his head from the water and hugging his chest protectively.
He was simply trying to cleanse himself of the stench and didn't want to be mistaken for a pervert.
The two women approaching the lake jumped in surprise, drawing their longswords and cautiously scanning the surroundings, only to find Qin Yi's head above the water after a long moment, leaving them stunned.
"Whose disciple are you? What are you doing here?" one of the women demanded.
Qin Yi wore a bewildered look, as if seeing idiots, "Don't tell me Baihua Pavilion disciples don't know what bathing is?"
