Life in North America, you call this an autopsy officer?!

Chapter 382: Transformation of Blissful Heart Domain_2

...

The Outside World.

A tremendously terrifying scene emerged globally.

Whether it was at home, in offices, or even in heavily guarded official places.

Whether it was the elderly, children, or a stray dog on the street.

Regardless of the species, regardless of status... the moment Brian launched an attack imbued with the Rule Power of Death and Destruction, all creatures that had been silently parasitized by a thread of Leptitia's origin power fell into a state of brain death.

This large-scale comatose phenomenon sparked global panic.

It was horrendously frightening.

One moment, a classmate, a colleague, a boss, a teacher were speaking with you... and the next, they collapsed to the ground without any warning.

No measures of emergency medical services or high-tech rescue equipment proved effective.

After several hours of research.

A department fond of social media accounts, composed of biologists and neurological experts, after examination with cutting-edge equipment, concluded that these comatose creatures had suffered brain death and posted their speculation on social media accounts.

Of course, these social media accounts were quickly banned.

Rumors flew in abundance.

The only ones who knew that those experts were not lying, the ruling class of various countries across the globe, were now plunged into collective panic and unrest.

As the beings at the top of the food chain on this planet, these high-ranking individuals weren't particularly afraid of nuclear bombs because they had comprehensive early-warning systems and anti-nuclear bunkers to ensure survival, even if they were to die, they would be among the last.

But this kind of brain death, with its unknown cause, was truly horrifying.

They didn't even know how to guard against it.

Such an unknown phenomenon brought immense unrest.

While Brian waited silently for the Transformation of Blissful Heart Realm, officials across the globe, anyone with a hint of status, were now hiding in what they thought were safe bunkers, communicating with the outside world through networks and landlines, hardly daring to show themselves again.

Only one person was overjoyed at this moment.

This person was Long.

..

Outside the Spirit Realm, in the Time-Space River.

Several hours earlier.

Long was clutching its damaged head, wailing in agony.

Suddenly, a not-so-powerful force of obliteration travelled through the void and struck directly at the wound on its soul body.

Long was currently in a state of consciousness chaos because of an unexpected attack by Leptitia.

Before it could register the incoming attack, the insects that had been gnawing at its head day and night let out a woman's scream and, unexpectedly, stopped moving!

It wasn't until Long regained consciousness that it discovered, to its delight, that Leptitia's origin power had vanished!

Long was both shocked and elated.

That cursed Leptitia!

When it had first arrived at this Life Planet, not long after arranging its plans, it encountered the unique existence of Leptitia.

At the time, Leptitia was still very naive, and for the sake of revenge, had slaughtered many acquaintances.

Such drastic actions, in the early stages of the Blood Moon, naturally attracted more attention.

Not to mention that Leptitia suddenly obtained the power to dominate its own fate and, with a change in mindset, began to act recklessly.

It was only then that Long became aware of Leptitia's existence.

It initially thought Leptitia was just one of the lucky ones favored by the Blood Moon, and there was a great potential to grow into a Transcender, becoming its main harvest in the future.

But then...

Before it could act, Leptitia attacked upon sighting it.

The process doesn't need stating.

Leptitia had only recently received the Blood Moon Gift and was no match for Long.

But because Leptitia's parasitic power was more externally manifest than Brian's, Long sensed something was wrong and realized that the other might be the legendary Favored of the Blood Moon. Elated, it then attempted to consume Leptitia.

This action, however, triggered Leptitia.

Leptitia awakened at the speed of light and then detonated a vast amount of its origin power.

This was otherwise insignificant.

Leptitia's power at its origin was high-leveled, but Leptitia's own consciousness was weak.

It was like a child wielding a gun against a martial arts master capable of Instant Teleportation.

You can't hit, so how could you hurt anyone?

Unless the opponent also achieved Fifth Rank Transcendence or the like.

The issue was here.

Long's soul had a leak.

It had been severely injured before, its soul body's head incomplete.

Those particles of Leptitia's origin power took the opportunity to become parasites, latching onto the wound in Long's head.

Long was trapped in a dire situation.

Leptitia's parasitism was established in the consciousness of the soul.

Once the parasitism began,

Leptitia's origin power could continuously devour its soul fragments.

Killing these parasites was akin to killing parts of its own consciousness.

The only solution was to find Leptitia's core consciousness and erase it, this would naturally solve the issue and also allow it to gain the complete origin power of the other.

Years passed.

Long had always been quietly searching for Leptitia.

Unfortunately, to no avail.

The other was too well hidden and could continuously transfer consciousness, seizing new bodies...

Helplessly.

Long could only wait for the nine Blood Moons to pass, intending to solve this problem when it brought about Destruction.

Unexpectedly...

There were still one hundred and seventy to eighty years until the Destruction.

Leptitia suddenly withdrew its origin power.

This made Long both joyous and somewhat uneasy.

Leptitia's origin power, derived from the Blood Moon, was highly leveled and could harm it, could continuously gnaw and influence its consciousness, reducing its threat.

Withdrawing it was very irrational.
