Chapter 209: Deep Sea Golem
Atlas woke up with his body fully healed and his helmet keeping the water at bay, but he felt his breath getting shallow. He quickly activated Aqua Lung again, which allowed him to breathe while standing up.
'Now, onto the boss,' he thought with a tired smile. 'After this, I will have a break in the Otherworld.'
Then, Atlas walked toward the staircase leading to the Bosses Arena. When he got close, he summoned Medusa, who appeared before letting out a roar that echoed throughout the dungeon.
She swiftly swam to him, playfully rubbing her head against his body. Atlas smiled, his hand gently stroking the sleek scales of the Death Serpent. With a surge of energy, he wrapped his arms around her as they took off.
Medusa effortlessly glided through the water until they reached the staircase leading down, 'Here we go,' Atlas thought, excitedly lighting up his face.
Soon enough, they entered the arena, which blocked their escape with the usual shield that circled the area. Atlas wondered what had happened until torches lit up the battlefield as something rose from the ground.
When he saw this, his eyes widened in shock. The ground started to shake, and a massive Golem appeared. It was the size of a house made from dark stone, and its list eyes glowed red as it looked ancient.
The stone monster moved slowly like an old person, but its aura radiated strength, making him gulp, 'This is going to be hard. My sword won't be able to pierce it,' he thought while gazing at the Dungeon Boss.
Atlas quickly used Void Sight to determine the creature's rank to see if he could beat it.
[Deep Sea Golem]
[Rank: S - 10000 Exp]
[Siren's Abyss Dungeon Boss]
[Don't go near it and use the Death Serpent to help]
'Rank S,' Atlas thought with wide eyes as he gulped. 'I'm going to need Medusa's help.'
Following this, he cast several Void Bombs at the stone behemoth, and when the magic connected, explosions rang out. Medusa shot into the shadows as Atlas summoned the Hill Giant on top of the Golem.
'This should slow it down.'
The Dungeon Monster moved slowly but managed to damage the boss, allowing Medusa to coil around its legs. Atlas seized the opportunity, casting six Void Lances streaking through the water like lightning bolts.
'I need to bring it down; that's my only chance at winning.'
As the azure projectiles struck the Golem, explosions erupted, sending shockwaves through the water as the spells burrowed deep into the stone. The sudden assault sent the monster reeling, forcing it to stumble backward before it crashed to the ground.
This allowed Atlas to get some space from the boss as he continued casting spells that knocked off some of its attacks aimed at Medusa. Sand flew all over the place as the arena shook due to the impact; the monster lost its temper and became enraged.
In a rage, it swung its massive arm, sending the Hill Giant flying away from the fray. Atlas sent the monster back to the Dungeon Realm before he attacked the Sea Golem with several Void Bombs that chipped chunks of stone off.
He looked at Medusa and shouted, ''Keep it down, and don't let the thing grab you!'
The Death Serpent nodded in agreement as Atlas unleashed a barrage of Void Lances at the monster. The azure projectiles struck, burrowing deep into its body and eliciting a deafening roar as it swung at Medusa.
With speed, she dodged the sudden attack, and Atlas quickly followed up by hurling several Inferno Bombs at the creature's head, igniting a fiery explosion that lit up the arena. Seizing the moment, Atlas unleashed a series of Gravity Bombs, anchoring the beast firmly to the ground.
Following that, he appeared next to Golem's head and cast a Void Bomb at it, which he fully charged. When the explosive spell connected, an explosion erupted, which sent him flying across the arena,
Medusa quickly caught him as she spoke, 'You've weakened it; I may be able to take out one of its limbs.'
Atlas nodded before throwing some Smoke Bombs as the Golem tried to get up. A white mist appeared and blocked the boss's vision, allowing Medusa to sneak attack while he started casting Void Blasts at its knees.
Every time a spell connected, chunks of stone blasted off, which weakened the Golem. As this happened, the Death Serpent moved in and wrapped around its head, which caused the monster to try to get her out of it.
With the Golem pinned down by the Gravity Bombs, Atlas seized the opportunity, moving in to blast off one of its legs with a powerful spell. The boss staggered, growing weaker as its movements became more sluggish.
'If I continue like this Medusa can get the upper-hand.'
He kept targeting its remaining limbs, unleashing a relentless barrage of spells. Still, his mana reserves ran dry after casting hundreds, 'Damn, I need to rest,' Atlas thought, retreating to catch his breath as Medusa tore into the wounded boss.
Once his mana was replenished, he summoned a Hill Giant that crashed into the Golem, further intensifying the chaotic battle. Sand erupted into the air, obscuring his vision as the violent clash raged on, leaving him momentarily blind to the ongoing destruction.

Atlas narrowed his eyes, sweat mixing with the cold water around him as the towering Deep Sea Golem managed to stand up after battering away the Giant and throwing off Medusa. Its red eyes glowed with ancient fury, but he didn't flinch, "Let's see how you handle this," he muttered, summoning dark energy into his palms.
He hurled a series of Void Bombs at the Golem's massive arm. The explosions erupted on impact, sending cracks spidering through the stone. Chunks flew off, exposing the brittle rock beneath.
'The magic is weakening the monster,' he thought with a smile.
The Golem roared in pain, lifting its arm for a retaliatory strike, but Atlas was faster. He summoned more Void Bombs, this time targeting its legs. The blasts echoed through the water, shattering one of the creature's knees and causing the behemoth to stumble.
"You're not getting back up." he dashed forward, hurling another Void Bomb at its remaining leg. The impact sent shards of stone spiraling in all directions, and the Golem crashed to the ground with a loud thud.
Its arm lashed out in desperation, but Atlas dodged easily, launching one last, fully charged Void Bomb at the creature's head. The explosion shattered its skull, and the Golem collapsed in defeat as he dismissed the Hill Giant, who started drowning.
Breathing heavily, Atlas looked down at the stone corpse that started to fade away as he dismissed Medusa before speaking, "Not so tough without your limbs, are you?"
After the intense battle, he watched the Deep Sea Golem slowly sink back into the dungeon. An old man's voice echoed through the chamber, [Collect your loot and step through the portal, Conqueror].
Obeying the Dungeon Master's command, Atlas gathered the spoils of victory and stepped through the shimmering translucent portal. He was in a small, dimly lit room on the other side.
The dungeon's core at its center gleamed as he replied to the voice. [Do you want to join my Dungeon Realm? I already have a few of your siblings]
After speaking, the core flashed, and the old man answered cheerfully. [Yes, young man. I would like that; I've been alone for so long, some company would be welcome]
Atlas nodded in understanding and placed his hand on the Dungeon Core, feeling its energy pulse as it merged into his growing collection. As soon as the connection was made, a detailed representation of the Siren's Abyss Dungeon appeared in his mind.
[Thank you for freeing me, Dungeon Conqueror. Chaos was close to breaching my defenses, but with your power, they cannot touch me anymore] The older man said, his voice filled with relief and appreciation.
Then, Atlas got to know the Dungeon Master even more before returning to the surface. When he stepped through the portal and exited the place, the guards looked at him wide-eyed.
The commander halted in front of him, his face etched with concern. "What happened to you, boy? You've been inside Siren's Abyss for days, and now you reappear—missing an arm?"
Atlas chuckled, waving the man's worry aside. "The dungeon had a few creatures that didn't belong there. One of them bit me, injected a nasty poison. I had no choice but to cut the arm off," he said, his tone light despite the gravity of his words.
''Doesn't potions heal it?'' the commander said while handing one over.
''It doesn't work. I need a high-ranked Healer to do it, but I don't know where to find one,'' Atlas replied while glancing around.
The man nodded in understanding. ''Interesting. We'll send out an order for a high-ranked group of adventurers to check the dungeon out.''
Following that, Atlas left the fortress behind and walked off the road until he reached a safe place to summon Theo. The Blood Bat King appeared, allowing him to jump on the monster's back as he spoke, 'Let's head to Carthage. I need to heal my arm.'
