Law of Tragedy

Zhi Hua calmly stood behind them assessing the situation. He could allow the soldier to succeed in his goal then breed hostility from him by simply advertising the fact that he had a pretty sister that wasn't blood related. The problem with this is that first of all the death of the unconscious man would alert the protagonist team plus the players working in the kitchen then it would eventually be an all out race following the clue from the main storyline. He doesn't have the confidence to go against the players just yet so he would rather not touch them. The second problem is that after taking care of me, he might go after Feng which on the contrary I'm worried would kill him without restraint. I noticed it a while ago but she doesn't have the inherent reluctance against killing but he can't be completely sure because she also has innate absolute loyalty to him. Zhi Hua still had his doubts so he wants to test her

After forgetting the first plan, he formulated a second one that would delay the storyline and ensure he monopolizss it. He sneaked around the building until he was standing at the back of the soldier. He was sure this soldier wasn't a player because he asked Feng to check out all the players in his team. That means he was the real deal, Zhi Hua has no experience in fighting that he can remember but his body has some sense of fighting so he can manage against a zombie but a highly trained soldier is different. The only advantage he has is his gun but he doesn't remember using a gun either and he didn't trust the police officer enough to ask him how to. On that note, he suddenly had an idea to ask Feng to learn how to then teach him since she seems to have the ability to learn everything.

He looked around in a sense of urgency when he spotted a zombie staggering close to them. He turned around then picked up a stone and tossed it at the zombie to make it aggressive then he tossed a bigger one in it's mouth to muffle it's moaning. He made sure it got close enough to him then he led it to the soldier and when it was a few centimeters away. He pretended to be afraid then ran up to the soldier shouting help. The soldier spun around with his gun already aimed and was about to shoot the zombie when Zhi Hua seemingly tripped while infront of him knocking the gun out of his hand and also effectively dodging the zombie that instead lunged at the soldier who fought back desperately . Zhi Hua picked himself off the floor holding the gun belonging to the soldier and pointed it at the zombie.

"Hurry up you basta..." He couldn't complete the word because he found the muzzle pointed at his head

"Shit are you fucked. Not me you idiot" the soldier said cursing

"Why do you need alive human bodies" Zhi Hua said calmly as he walked to them then used his leg to press the zombie against the soldier's body.

"Fuck when I get out of this you'll..." He was shot in the leg which also shot the zombies leg and agitated it more making it fight more fiercely.

"Silly me. It's mouth still covered up" Zhi Hua said attempting to knock the stone in its mouth out which was the only thing that allowed the soldier some breathing space.

"Shit what do you want" the soldier cursed glaring at him.

"Information" Zhi Hua replied taking off his hat so that the soldier could see his face more. He has been wearing the nose mask and hat all the time and told everyone it was to cover a disease.

"You have to let me go after and I promise that I'll let you become a big person in this place"the soldier said. Zhi Hua looked at him like he was a fool. He could already guess that the soldier saw his young age and wanted to manipulate him to let him go after feeding him false information so that he would torture him once he does.

"But I threatened you " Zhi Hua said confusedly

"I respect your grit. It's not easy to find that in such a young age" the soldier said.

Zhi Hua laughed at him in his heart then pretended to be proud of what he said agreeing to let him go. The soldier secretly sneered at the fool already imagining the ways he would torture him until he begged.

Zhi Hua paid no heed to his malicious gaze and walked to his head then bent down and placed the muzzle on his forehead. The soldier was still imagining his screams when he felt the cold muzzle on his head and he was so scared that he almost let the zombie win but he quickly calmed himself down and asked what he was doing

"Ah, see I'm really bad at shooting and I don't want to mistakenly shoot you fifty times due to poor aim so I thought it's better to come up close" Zhi Hua said smiling at him with an embarrassed face as if he was for his poor aiming skills.

"I thought you were letting me go" the soldier said

"As long as you give me the right information" and when the soldier wanted to curse at him again Zhi Hua said

"If you keep scaring me then my hand might slip as I have sweaty hands too" which made the soldier shut up.

The soldier revealed that the general was researching on a way to save humanity when his wife turned. His wife was the love who wanted so badly to save humanity but she was killed by a human she saved so he went crazy and started experimenting on how to control the zombies as weapons against humans. He needed people for his experiment so he built this institute to gather ready sacrifices. He also told him that the experiment were in the huge building in the center on the last floor that was restricted for normal entry. Zhi Hua asked him a few more questions then he was satisfied which the soldier noticed then he asked him to let him go.

"A deal a deal. I will let you both go" Zhi Hua said. The soldier was getting ready to pounce on the brat when he realized he said both. Zhi Hua knocked the back of the zombie's head and the stone came out. The zombie spared no time and mercilessly bit the soldier who screamed and died cursing the Zhi Hua.

Zhi Hua swiftly dealt with the full zombie and tossed the gun beside the unconscious man that he forgot about.

The others noticed something was wrong and found the scene. They suspected the both of them that were alive but Zhi Hua testified that they were attacked by zombies and the three of them fought and the soldier saved them, the unconscious man was knocked out during the fight and Zhi Hua finished the zombie off. He purposely made the story suspicious so that they would take him next.

The matter ended like that seemingly but he could feel the vigilance from the soldiers. He was watching and waiting for them to try something when he had a surprising visit from the person who claims to be the creator of the storyline.
