KONOHA :THE RISE OF KAITON

Chapter 9: Chapter 9: The Genius Orochimaru

The following day, Tsunade arrived at the classroom early to relay her second grandfather's words to Kaiton.

"So, even Hokage-sama has no solution... Then we can only try the last method," Kaiton said thoughtfully, resting his chin on his hands.

"What's the last method?" Tsunade asked, curious.

"Why don't we learn medical ninjutsu?" Kaiton suggested with a grin. "It involves body cells, so it must be related to medical treatment. If we learn it, we might find a solution to our problem."

Tsunade tilted her head, considering the idea, while Kaiton continued his pitch.

"Tsunade, think about it. If you master medical ninjutsu, you won't have to visit a doctor after beating someone up! You could heal them right away and beat them again. It saves time—how perfect is that?"

Tsunade blinked, momentarily stunned by Kaiton's logic. "That… actually makes sense!" she said, nodding.

Clapping his hands, Kaiton declared, "Great! That settles it. You'll find us a teacher, Tsunade."

Unbeknownst to her, Kaiton was more excited about learning medical ninjutsu for his own benefit. Physical injuries were inevitable during training, and mastering healing techniques would save him trips to the hospital and precious time. Moreover, it could help him better understand his unique body's response to intense training.

Tsunade's voice interrupted his thoughts. "Speaking of learning, you should come to my house tonight, Kaiton. Grandpa and the others want to meet you. They're huge fans of your cooking. If you prepare something delicious, Grandpa might even teach you medical ninjutsu!"

Kaiton froze. "Wait, what? The Ninja God himself wants to teach me ninjutsu?"

Tsunade nodded, and Kaiton's face lit up. "This is amazing! Do you think Lord Hashirama would teach me Wood Style?!"

Tsunade rolled her eyes, but Kaiton was already lost in his own fantasies, imagining being hailed as the "Green Messenger of Love in the Ninja World."

---

When class began, Kaiton could hardly concentrate. His mind raced with recipe ideas to impress the legendary ninja. It wasn't until Tsunade jabbed his ribs that Kaiton realized he was daydreaming in the middle of the lesson.

"Pay attention!" she hissed.

Before Kaiton could respond, their teacher, Tenzou, called him to the front of the class.

"Kaiton, show us your Three Body Technique."

With a nervous laugh, Kaiton complied. His Transformation Technique, Substitution Technique, and Clone Technique were executed flawlessly.

Tenzou nodded, impressed. "You've done well, Kaiton. Next, focus on ninja tools and physical training. Once you master those, you'll be at Genin level."

Returning to his seat, Kaiton felt a surge of pride. However, Tenzou wasn't finished.

"Who else has successfully sensed Chakra?" Tenzou asked, scanning the room. "By tomorrow, anyone who has succeeded will be taught a C-rank ninjutsu."

The announcement sent waves of excitement through the classroom. For civilian students, this was a rare opportunity to learn advanced techniques, as they didn't have family legacies like their peers from ninja clans.

At the back of the classroom, a pale, quiet boy stood up.

"Teacher, I've succeeded," Orochimaru said calmly.

The room erupted in whispers.

"Really? Orochimaru, too?"

"He's so quiet. Who knew he had this kind of talent?"

"I think Orochimaru-kun is kind of cool."

Meanwhile, Jiraiya, seated near Orochimaru, clenched his fists. "I can't believe this… Orochimaru, too?!" he muttered.

Kaiton snickered beside him. "Feeling the pressure, Jiraiya?"

"No way!" Jiraiya retorted. "I'll figure it out tonight! I won't lose to you two!"

Up front, Tenzou examined Orochimaru's Three Body Technique. To his surprise, Orochimaru's execution was nearly flawless, on par with Kaiton's.

The teacher couldn't help but smile. Despite Orochimaru's civilian background, his talent was undeniable.

---

Later that evening, Kaiton found himself at the Senju household, carrying a tray of his best dishes.

Lord Hashirama's eyes sparkled when Kaiton revealed the food. "Seafood fried rice! My favorite!" Hashirama exclaimed, digging in immediately.

"Don't eat everything yourself!" Mito scolded him, pouring tea. "We invited Kaiton here to get to know him, not just feed you."

As the meal progressed, Tsunade recounted Kaiton's antics in class. By the time she described his infamous Transformation Technique mishap, the entire family was laughing.

"That s*****e Technique of yours sounds hilarious," Hashirama chuckled. "You've got a creative mind, Kaiton."

Mito, however, sipped her tea in silence, clearly unimpressed.

Tobirama, ever the stoic, finally spoke up. "Tsunade, you've known Kaiton for a while now. Why don't you bring him over more often? I'd like to see how his skills develop."

Hashirama nodded enthusiastically. "Yes! And if he cooks like this again, I might even teach him a few tricks."

Kaiton's heart soared. "Thank you, Lord Hokage! I'll work hard!"

---

The next day in class, Kaiton and Jiraiya were buzzing with determination. While Kaiton couldn't wait to impress Lord Hashirama again, Jiraiya was desperate to prove himself after Orochimaru's triumph.

"By tomorrow, I'll master Chakra sensing," Jiraiya declared.

"Good luck with that," Kaiton teased.

Tenzou, observing from the front, smiled to himself. Though Kaiton and Orochimaru had shown exceptional talent, he was equally hopeful for the rest of the class.

"Nurturing young talent is what being a ninja is all about," he thought, addressing the students once more.

"Remember, hard work is just as important as natural talent. Keep pushing yourselves, and you'll all reach new heights."

The classroom fell silent, each student deep in thought. For Kaiton, Orochimaru, and Jiraiya, their ninja journeys were just beginning.
