Jiraiya said to the Suna Shinobi Jōnin beside him, though the joy on his face was unmistakable.

The Suna Jōnin wasn't about to back down. 

Confident in their team's strength, he scoffed, "Hmph, just wait. Baki will definitely crush that kid from Konoha."

But reality proved otherwise, and the Suna Jōnin's confidence took a hit.

Minato shocked everyone by defeating Suna's ace, Baki, after a fierce battle.

At first, Baki dominated with his Wind Style ninjutsu, keeping Minato on the defensive. It seemed like the young Konoha shinobi was at a disadvantage.

What Baki didn't realize was that while he was keeping Minato on the defensive, Minato had secretly placed several Flying Thunder God seals around the arena.

When Baki used his Wind Style to slice through the ground again, a piece of rubble with a Flying Thunder God seal landed right next to him.

What happened next was quick and decisive.

Minato teleported to the seal's location and finished the battle with a Rasengan.

The Suna Shinobi watching from the sidelines looked furious, their faces dark with frustration. 

Meanwhile, Jiraiya burst into laughter, slapping the table in delight.

"Oh, why did it have to be my two students facing each other in the finals? I'm so helpless!" 

Jiraiya said, feigning distress, though his smug expression made everyone grit their teeth.

No one expected the four-nation joint Jōnin exam to turn into a showcase for Konoha's talent.

If word of this spreads, Konoha's mission requests will likely surge in no time.

But even more important than that…

The world had now witnessed the rise of two brilliant stars from Konoha.

One is incredibly fast, the only ninja in the world to master the [Light Release] Kekkei Genkai. 

Though powerful, his weird temper and annoying personality make him hard to deal with.

Yet, Simu's performance was undeniably remarkable—single-handedly defeating two tailed beast Jinchūriki and even suppressing the partially unsealed Two-Tails with his own strength.

The other is just as fast, having mastered the Flying Thunder God Technique created by the Second Hokage, Senju Tobirama.

Although he's usually gentle, even the kindest ninja becomes a lethal weapon on the battlefield!

Uchiha Fugaku also delivered an outstanding performance, as did the new generation of the Ino–Shika–Chō trio. Konoha's talent truly stood out, leaving many ninja villages genuinely impressed.

Some smaller vassal nations were already considering testing Konoha's attitude after the exams, hoping for an opportunity to switch allegiances.

Even Admiral Mifune couldn't hide his admiration as he looked at Simu and Minato.

But regardless of their shared Konoha roots, only one could emerge as the ultimate winner.

"Oh, what a drag. I didn't expect to end up fighting you, Minato," Simu muttered, looking bored. 

All he wanted was to return to Konoha and get some sleep.

Minato smiled wryly. "Just one move."

"Huh?" Simu glanced at him, puzzled.

Minato's expression turned serious. "I know I'm not as strong as you. I'll only use one move. If you can take it, I'll admit defeat."

Simu's eyes lit up with understanding. 

Minato wasn't looking to show all his cards—not with so many outsiders watching.

If the two fought seriously, their abilities would be fully exposed to everyone watching.

Other ninja villages could analyze their strengths and weaknesses, crafting strategies to counter them.

This could lead to trouble—or even death—on the battlefield in the future.

As Simu's companion, of course Minato knows about Simu's special abilities.

That is elementalization.

Simu's ability had never been exposed publicly until now.

The only time it surfaced was during the mission to rescue Kushina, but all the Kumo Shinobi who witnessed it were all killed.

As a result, the secret remained safe.

Understanding Minato's intentions, Simu nodded slightly. 

"Honestly, Minato, you're pretty scary," he remarked, pulling his hands out and preparing to fight.

Deep down, he was curious to see how serious Minato could get.

Minato smiled faintly, his lips twitching as he replied:

"Should I say it's a great honor that you've decided to use your hand to deal with this?" Minato teased.

"That's not…" Simu muttered, scratching his head awkwardly.

Before he could finish, Minato had already pulled out seven special kunai from his ninja pouch and hurled them toward Simu.

"You're going for a sneak attack, Minato?" Simu remarked, effortlessly deflecting the kunai with Observation Haki.

But as the kunai scattered through the air, Minato gripped another in his hand.

Flying Thunder God Technique!

Minato spun in mid-air and threw another kunai at Simu from close range.

Simu stepped back, swiftly raising his foot to sweep the attack aside.

As expected, Minato appeared in front of the kunai, but only for an instant.

In the blink of an eye, Minato vanished again.

Simu stumbled slightly but caught himself. "As expected of someone who could become Hokage," he thought to himself.

In an instant, Minato appeared behind Simu, a kunai poised to strike.

Simu reacted quickly, turning into a flash and disappearing.

As soon as Simu reappeared, his Observation Haki sensed something.

He realized that, at some point, Minato had left a Flying Thunder God mark at his landing spot.

So he was preparing for the final move... Simu suddenly understood.

Blonde hair flashed through the air, followed by the sound of a spinning vortex.

Minato gripped a kunai in his left hand, and in his right, a palm-sized Rasengan formed.

At this speed, it was the most powerful attack Minato could deliver.

"As expected from you, you reacted so quickly," Minato said.

The light blue chakra spun violently in the air, heading straight for Simu.

Simu smiled, instantly coating his left fist with Armament Haki. "Light Speed Fist."

A golden flash shot forward as his iron fist collided directly with the oncoming Rasengan.

"Om..."

The Rasengan unleashed immense power, but Simu's Armament Haki was strong enough to firmly withstand Minato's attack.

The result was that the arena beneath them cracked horribly, with cracks spreading like a spider web across the entire surface.

Even the nearby barrier began to tremble and crack.

"Boom!"

The massive release of power engulfed the entire arena in a burst of white light.

"What happened?" Most of the ninjas could only see Minato and Simu flying around, their figures barely visible.

When the light cleared, the two had already delivered their final blows.

The entire exchange had lasted less than fifteen seconds from start to finish.

"Hurry, reinforce the barrier!"

The ninjas on standby quickly rushed forward, channeling their chakra to strengthen the enchantment.

After a frantic effort, the barrier was stabilized just before it could break completely.

The movement in the arena also gradually calmed down.
