Looking at the storage, Alchemy narrowed her eyes at what she saw.

'So those little rabbit creatures are called Horn Tooths. Although… 93 meat after they consumed yesterday's quota… Did they wipe out their population? Am I a blight on the ecosystem?' She asked, not even noticing the rewards she got from dismantling the Assassin Eagle.

"Okay, uhm. Before I talk about the good news. Those rabbit things, there's some left, right? You didn't just make a native species extinct, right?"

{No. They were everywhere, and most were defenseless. They only drop one low-grade meat, but they seem to breed extremely fast.}

Hearing that, Alchemy let out a sigh of relief.

"Good, let's avoid completely destroying the ecosystem. At least until we have the means of branching out and starting trade. Anyway, where was I… Right, good news!"

Pausing for dramatic effect, Alchemy hopped onto the roof of her hut, but due to her increase in stats, she nearly overjumped it and fell flat on her face.

"I'm fine~" She groaned, knowing that her subordinates would panic if she didn't.

As she got up and rubbed her nose, she grabbed out the three tokens out of the storage.

"As you know, we got unimaginably lucky and gained a [Heroic Unit] in Sapphire on the third day we arrived here. While I know MOST of you don't like the fact that a non-Verminae is here, you'll need to get used to it for our greater good. I will beat the love into you if It's needed." Alchemy began.

"Anyway, thanks to the… The sacrifice of your brother, I return today with the ability to create our first Verminae hero!"

{WOO!}

{YEAH!!}

{LONG LIVE MOTHER!}

Immediately, the telepathic link was flooded, causing Alchemy's head to spin.

Hopping down from the roof, Alchemy smiled.

"At least they're happy. But, Sapphire… You be happy that you can't hear them right now."

"I-is it true that they all hate me?" Sapphire questioned, still stuck on her earlier words.

"Probably. But I like you, and that's all that matters. The Verminae, as a species, see everything that isn't a Verminae as food." Alchemy shrugged.

"You mentioned humans. That means this world at least has the basics of civilization, so I wish to set up trade as soon as possible. If I want to succeed in that endeavor, I will either need advisors who are not Verminae, or they'll need to learn to treat other species as more than food. In that case, you're a welcome addition."

Alchemy said it as it was. Since Sapphire had already gotten gravely injured once and saved her life twice, that was the least Alchemy could do.

With everything said, Alchemy moved to the open area of their base before acknowledging the system panel that had been hovering around her for a few minutes.

'Explosively, huh? If I recall, a [Heroic Seed]++ like Sapphire was a 1 in 130,000 chance.'

As she confirmed that her numerous citizens were watching, Alchemy hit yes.

The tokens began floating from her hand, each slowly begging to spin as they grew closer together. When they got close enough to each other to touch, they began merging into one another until only one token was remaining.

A radiantly glowing, singular token.

While Alchemy crossed her arms, the glowing token's light began expanding out, forming a shape. At first, it was nothing but a silhouette made of light, but it quickly morphed, gaining a complex shape and mass.

Suddenly, a weight began pushing everyone down as the gravity in their territory became more intense.

The bright light took part of its body, most likely an arm and a hand, and pointed at Alchemy before asking a single question.

"Are you my creator? My Goddess Mother?"

"I am, child," Alchemy responded.

From the light came a new being, a massive creature that towered over Alchemy, standing at 3 meters in height.

It had a layer of fuzzy white chitin all over its body. Four hulking arms, each with a burly fist attached to it, two beady and wide black eyes, a pair of black antennae, and two glorious yet fragile-looking wings.

"Then my Goddess Mother. Bless me with the knowledge of your name."

"I am Al…"

Alchemy was about to introduce herself casually, how she normally would, but this was a special occasion. And she needed to put on a show for her kids.

Remembering the words from back in the early days of A.O.A, Alchemy's smile became confident.

"I am the [Seraphim Verminae], Ancestor of the Insecta and Arachidna. Arbiter of [Gula], Alchemy Ennis. The ruler of this budding nation and your lord." Her voice boomed.

The being kneeled to give grace to their Goddess Mother.

"Then I formally greet you, Mother Alchemy Ennis. From this moment forth, I will be your wings, which control the skies. I am Nera, The Wings."
