Chapter 31: KOW Chapter 31 Scorch Release

"Steady..."

Qin Yi's eyes narrowed as he recognized the danger of the object in his palm. He knew he had to handle it with care.

Focusing intently, he stared at the blue Rasengan, which was spinning rapidly and emitting a faint sound.

Three seconds later, the high-speed rotating Rasengan stabilized, accompanied by a steady hum.

"Success!"

Joy lit up Qin Yi's face as he let out a long sigh of relief. After all the effort he had put into training with the Rasengan, it was gratifying to see his hard work pay off. Yet, he couldn't help but reflect on the challenges of developing Ninjutsu.

"However, this doesn't seem to be the limit of Rasengan."

He could feel the power of the ball in his hand, knowing it could easily destroy a tree or shatter rocks. But he sensed that its destructive potential could be further enhanced.

"Let's try increasing the rotation frequency and speed again."

With determination, Qin Yi urged the Chakra in his hand to move once more.

"Vroom! Vroom!"

The Chakra ball spun faster, producing a sharp whistling sound. Its surface began to bulge and deform, becoming more unstable.

"I can't control it!" Qin Yi's expression shifted dramatically as he shouted.

"Everyone, move aside!!"

In an instant, he vanished from his spot.

Just as he moved away from Qin Xiyao, a loud explosion erupted about ten meters ahead.

"Boom!!"

Dust and debris filled the air as a large tree snapped and crashed to the ground, drawing the attention of the soldiers.

At the same time, a figure was hurled into the air, violently slamming into another tree trunk.

"Brother!" Qin Xiyao called out anxiously.

Qin Yi fell from the tree, crouching on the ground. After coughing a few times, he waved his hand dismissively. "I'm fine!"

But deep down, he was shaken by the force of the Rasengan's explosion; it had nearly caused him serious injury.

"Your Majesty!"

The soldiers quickly gathered around, and the Three Generals, along with Gandalf, arrived on the scene.

"Your Majesty, what were you doing?" Qin Lin asked, his face stern.

"I was developing a new Ninjutsu. I didn't expect to almost hurt myself," Qin Yi replied with a wry smile.

"Your Majesty, you must understand that your life is crucial to the rise and fall of our Great Qin Nation. You cannot be reckless. Your life is more important than all of ours combined. Please, cherish your life!" Yang Yi urged with concern etched on his face.

"Yes, Your Majesty. Dangerous things should be left to us," Fang Lan added.

Gandalf smiled but remained silent.

Qin Yi felt a headache coming on. While he wished he could delegate the development of Ninjutsu to someone else, he knew there was no one else capable of doing it.

"How are the soldiers? Are they ready to depart?" He asked, shifting the topic to divert their attention.

"They're doing great. We've checked each one, and they are ready to depart at any time!" Qin Lin reported WITH excitement in his voice. "And they're diligently practicing their Chakra. They'll be ready for combat soon!"

"Good, let's go then!" Qin Yi nodded.

As for Qin Lin's comment about entering combat, Qin Yi chose not to elaborate. Their differing worldviews led to different perceptions, and it wasn't something that could be changed overnight.

To Qin Lin, having soldiers who had just mastered a new power that made them significantly stronger meant they were ready to fight. But in the Naruto World, even a Genin-level Shinobi was considered fodder.

Of course, all of this was led by Qin Yi, and what Qin Lin thought didn't matter much.

The army of 6,000 quickly set off, marching through the Forest of Konoha.

Since they were within the borders of the Land of Fire, and under normal circumstances, there wouldn't be any warfare, the forest was free of foreign Shinobi, except for the hidden patrolling Konoha Shinobi. For the time being, Qin Yi and his group didn't have to worry about their safety.

The march continued as before— progressing while practicing.

The Three Generals began teaching the 100 soldiers the Three Bodies Technique, and with their excellent talent, they quickly brought their Chakra cultivation to near Genin level.

Two days later, all 100 soldiers had mastered the Three Bodies Technique.

Next, Qin Yi distributed Chakra testing papers to determine their Chakra attributes and assigned each soldier a Ninjutsu to practice.

The other soldiers watched enviously but didn't rush. Instead, they worked even harder on refining their Chakra.

As for Kunai throwing, explosive tags, and other techniques, they didn't have those resources at hand yet and would have to wait for a stable time to develop them.

"Tell the soldiers that mastering the Three Bodies Technique must be prioritized. It's crucial for survival, and it must be taken seriously!" Qin Yi frequently reminded the Generals during their march.

To him, these 6,000 soldiers of the Kingdom were invaluable. Losing even one would weigh heavily on his mind for days. Therefore, survival was the most important thing.

During these two days, he had completely developed the Rasengan and mastered all the Ninjutsu from the three Chakra types he could use.

Qin Yi's talent was extraordinary, and training Ninjutsu felt as effortless as eating or drinking. This was one of his significant advantages.

At this point, he began researching the fusion of Chakra properties to create new Ninjutsu.

"Currently, I have three Chakra properties in my body: Fire, Wind, and Earth."

"I've already tried fusing Fire and Wind, which resulted in a new Blood Inheritance I named Wind-Fire Release."

"From my observations, this Blood Inheritance, formed by combining two Ninjutsu, enhances the attack and destructive power of Katon (Fire Release) by utilizing the wind's force."

"However, it doesn't seem that special; it feels more like a combination of Ninjutsu."

Qin Yi fell into deep thought.

Powerful Kekkei Genkai (Bloodline Limits) were exceptionally unique. His rough fusion, while impressive, couldn't compare to the innate Kekkei Genkai.

"If I can fuse two Chakra properties together and develop a new Ninjutsu with the fused Chakra, it will surely be much stronger!"

Previously, he had been releasing two Ninjutsu simultaneously and combining them afterward to create a new technique. Now, he was considering fusing the properties of the Chakra before releasing them to form the new Ninjutsu.

Fusing Chakra properties wasn't impossible for him; with just a thought, the Fire and Wind Chakra properties combined effortlessly.

"Success! That was easy!" Qin Yi thought to himself.

The King's Strength truly felt like a cheat ability; all kinds of energy and power could merge into one.

"Now, it's time to develop a new Ninjutsu!"

Quietly contemplating, various hand seals flashed in his mind, and his fingers began to move swiftly.

First, the new fusion-type Blood Inheritance couldn't use the original Ninjutsu associated with each Chakra. Instead, it required a new hand seal. Second, the technique couldn't be overly complicated. Lastly, it had to merge the two Chakra properties.

Thus, the final hand seal produced only two seals.

"Release, property enhancement!"

Since it was a fusion of Wind and Fire properties, the name was clear.

Scorch Release!
