Description:
The Assassin lurks in the shadow, ready to strike at its target the moment they lay their eyes on it. This class focuses on killing their targets without being detected, in other words, assassinating them. It is one of the most heavy-hitting Advance-tier Scout classes, to the point where they can compete with the Warrior classes of the same tier.
While some Assassins rely on poison and multiple attacks to kill the target, others use a single blow to fell their opponent. Assassins use anything from lightweight daggers, swords, and two-handed weapons, to ranged weapons like throwing daggers, bows, even guns in some rare cases. Due to this, it is not an understatement in calling Assassin the class with the most variations, especially since most of its skills can be used with any weapons, or with no weapons at all.
However, an Assassin does not have high defensive abilities. They keep their armor to a minimum and rather use their speed and dexterity to dodge fatal attacks. In most cases, they stay hidden until the target shows a weak moment, which results in this class being more popular with parties than one would expect. Mostly due to the incredible tag-team that they form with Guardian-type classes to take out stronger targets.
Skills obtained from the Assassin class are mostly offensive-related, as it is presumed that the Assassin will already be schooled in the arts of stealth. However, those choosing Assassin as their main class is awarded the [Recognition Obstruction] skill, which allows the user to become "unrecognizable". Meaning, even if the Assassin stood in broad daylight, this skill would prevent anyone from recognizing that the Assassin was there.
The offensive skills start with [Assassination Arts], a series of battle arts that is focused on assassinating the target. After that, Assassin provides with skills like [Critical Dance] which improves damage based on the number of times one dodges a hostile attack, or [Addition Attack] which, after you have attacked a target, strikes the target again with [this skill's level]% of the original attack's damage.
To further improve the Assassin's lethality, they are granted the [Poison Coating] skill that lets them apply poison to any weapon they own at any time (more MP is required for rarer poisons, and less MP the higher the skill level) and the [Trick Step] skill, which grants them the ability to take steps with such speed and unpredictability that it seems like the Assassin is teleporting in the eyes of their target. Also, Assassins have access to [Steal] in case they need to "lighten" their victim, such as taking their weapon before they can fight back.
Finally, Assassins obtains the [Shadow Lantern] skill. A skill that takes the shape of a shadowy lantern that can make the target be treated as a shadow (but not really becoming one), passively improve any abilities related to skills while Lantern is active, and also improve the user's self-recovery abilities while in dark locations, making Lantern a great partner to the [Shadow Dive] skill the Assassin should have obtained during their time as a Rogue.
Garami's comment: This one I read from start to finish from the first time! I just kept its abilities a secret!
Mira's comment: Yeah, right.
Garami's comment: It's true! ......somewhat...*gulp*...
