Description:
Crawling Fears are monsters that are considered the highest natural evolution of the bugs known as Gloom Critters. Despite their frightening appearance, these creatures are easy to defeat, if a little too solid for people's tastes, so adventurers use them to give young adventurers a boost in morale by defeating a (seemingly) greater opponent in the rare cases when a Crawling Fear is located.
Appearance:
Crawling Fears are big, fat, and simply huge centipede monsters with a black exoskeleton. Their faces, however, look like an amalgam of various creatures, with the traits of monkeys being strangely noticeable.

The greatest strength of a Crawling Fear is their large bodies...and that is that. They do not have many skills, as they have to dedicate the few skills they have to support their massive bodies. They also share the Gloom Critters' natural weakness to sunlight, and the Fears also lack organs to see or to smell. They try to cover it with their greater sense of hearing... "trying" being the keyword here.
Disregarding their natural toughness, these creatures also emit a natural aura of fear, so people normally run away even if they have an advantage in stats and skills.
