NOVEL NEXT Chapter 9: First Training: Lie Down To Get Beaten
In a training room, both Adonis sat opposite one another as Elara counted seconds. "This is pointless" Adonis said not Wade who just smirked "Don't be so sure, you need to be able to sense when one wants to kill you before he or she acts, Elara can feel this place is filled with murderous aura from me and yet you still can't sense it" Wade said as his face turned serious {His body automatically ignores all murderous intent believing it's no threat to his life} Wade thought to himself and suddenly Elara threw a knife at Adonis back, the knife silently shot at his back aiming at his nape. Adonis didn't move an inch from his seat. When the knife was about to reach his nape he suddenly stretched his hands backwards and caught the knife "As I said, it's pointless so let's stop wasting valuable time on this" Adonis said as he threw the knife at Wade.
"How did you sense the knife" Wade asked as both he and Adonis stood up "Instinct" Adonis lied expressionlessly "If you don't want to tell me the truth no need to lie to me" Wade said as he sighed {How do you expect me to tell you about my eyes covering an area 360 degrees around me} Adonis thought to himself
"Fine then, let's begin the next aspect of our training" Wade said as he stood up from his seat "What aspect" Adonis asked as he had a bad feeling about the next aspect of the training "Bodybuilding" Wade said with a smile "So why are you smiling" Adonis asked as he looked at Wade suspiciously. Soon Lian came in pushing in a bottle of drugs that was far taller than any man "You will attack me while using the drugs of this bottle, until you finish the drugs inside you will not be allowed to go to school and every extra day you spend at home without going to school you will have your limbs broken throughout and for someone with a healing ability as terrifying as yours I will have to be breaking it every 1 hour to ensure it remains broken and I tell you, I have all the time in the world to do that and also in case you don't know the cooler around your head now causes you to feel pain" Wade explained maintaining his smile and both Adonis and Liam shivered "You are insane" Adonis said as he moved away from Wade.
"I am not insane, I am just preparing my student for the horrors of the real world, you might see school as a useless place to go to but I can assure you that this school is different. The kids there are way more mature than normal kids" Wade said and Adonis rolled his eyes at the old man "Can we get the training started, we need to finish it quickly so that we can eat dinner" Elara said and Wade smile widened "This part is the part I'll enjoy the most, I said Elara was going to train you before but not anymore. I'll train you myself while she trains Liam" Wade said as he poured some pills out of the huge pill bottle into a water bottle and then threw it at Adonis "Why the sudden change of heart" Aadonis asked as he caught the bottle "I want to know how fun it is to deal with someone with a power as immerse as yours" Wade said and Adonis moved backed a bit "Pour some of those drugs into your mouth and come at me at full strength and of course you are not allowed to use your abilities not like it matters either way" Wade said as he stretched his hand at Adonis and made a hand sign for him to attack at any time.
Suddenly, Adonis erupted with all his physical strength as he left a crater on the ground and he quickly poured part of the drugs into his mouth right as he was about to throw his fist at Wade's face. Adonis immediately fell to the floor losing all his strength "Finally, I can have my fun" Wade said as his smile disappeared "What's going on" Liam asked Elara who shook her head to indicate that she had no idea "You know, I didn't bring you to my house to train you because Ashburn asked me to, I am doing it cause the people on top of the human race knows of your existence and I tell you a lot of people are not happy about it" Wade said as he raised Adonis head up from the floor by dragging him up with his hair "Do you feel the unbearable pain we all can feel apart from people of your race. You all are parasites to the whole universe and you only cause pain and terror wherever you are found" Wade said as Adonis tried to push himself up with his hands as blood broke out of his skin "It looks like you are not only unable to feel pain but also very resistant to it" Wade said as he slammed Adonis head back into the ground "Just lie there and get beaten up" Wade said as he took Adonis up and pushed him into the medicine bottle "You wouldn't be able to leave the bottle until you finish all the drugs in the if you don't then don't even dream of coming out" Wade said as he left leaving Adonis in the bottle "Follow me" Wade said to Elara as he went out.
"Ask the question you want to ask" Wade said "Why did you do that" Elara asked anger obvious in her voice "Do you know who he is" Wade asked with a sigh. Elara shook her head indicating she didn't know who Adonis was "He is not human" Wade said. Elara frowned "So what, you certainly knew that before you decided to train him" Elara said. Wade nodded "I knew he wasn't human before I chose to train him but I only knew was a half human and half alien, I didn't know which race his other half belonged to" Wade said and Elara gave him a face he sought for his continuation "He is born of Aethonix blood" Wade noted and Elara widened in surprise "Why would an Aethonix want to produce a child with a human" Elara asked confused "That isn't the question here, the question is why would an Aethonix even be on our planet in the first place" Wade said as he eyes looked into the starry sky and an aura of fierce aura was emitted from his body.
Elara returned to the training room and she found Adonis swallowing the drugs not caring about the damage it did to his body "Did he tell you why he is so brutal with Adonis's training" Liam hurriedly asked Elara immediately she entered the room "From what I've heard, the more injured an Aethonix is the stronger they become" Elara said and said nothing more but it was enough for; I am to understand what was happening "They want him dead right" Liam asked Elara, she didn't reply but Liam got his answer "If they wanted to kill him why are they going through the stress of torturing him here" Liam said "This is the life your father and my stepfather managed to get him, he will not be allowed to use his powers except in matters where human lives as threatened" Elara said as she sighed "Do they know what they are doing" Liam asked with a frown as his whole body became tensed "They are suppressing a force which equals a natural force, if it was suppressed for to long it will explode and I highly doubt the reason of it's explosion will be to protect the human race especially with how they are about treat him" Liam said as he left the room.
