As the battle was reaching its end, other things were taking place elsewhere.

Ashwin continued to run away as fast as he could through the hallway of the spaceship.

Each of his movements was very agile as he avoided the attacks that kept coming from behind him.

The alien that chased him kept aiming quite accurately which showed how his invisibility ability was not working that well.

He had just obtained such an ability from Shiryu yet it had not been that long before he felt that he had hardly got to make use of it.

It was such a useful and strong ability that it allowed him to achieve so much yet it had been countered by someone so quickly.

He had never imagined that something like that could have happened so soon.

It felt like he had just obtained something very useful yet in the present situation, it had become completely useless to him.

His mind raced very quickly as he tried his best to come up with a solution quickly.

Although he may have increased his fighting capabilities over the years to maintain his position in the White Storm, his main specialty was always put toward inventing and learning how to use his inventions.

He did not possess his inventions due to the present circumstances so he could be considered as slightly weakened and at a disadvantage.

What was just as bad was that a lot of his time was spent on inventing and not on training or combat.

If there was one thing that he did have going for him then it was his sharp mind.

Even when faced with a difficult opponent and several disadvantages, he still maintaining his composure and using his Observation Haki to avoid his attacker. 'There must be a way.'

He kept thinking as he moved and dodged each attack then his eyes narrowed slightly.

His hand released a small cog that had been held in his hand causing it to fall toward the ground.

It bounced where it landed yet it remained invisible after leaving his hands so it was not visible to others like himself.

There was a small noise created as it hit the ground but that was not enough to make it fully detectable.

What happened next was that the alien kept moving as they stayed on their pursuit of Ashwin.

They moved directly in the path of where the cog fell causing them to make contact with it and knock it toward another direction.

Upon detecting such a reaction, a faint smile appeared on the face of Ashwin. 'It seems that they cannot see everything. This could work. I just need to make my movements a little less obvious.'

There were still several things that he had left on his body from things that he had scavenged from the weapons storage room along with some other things he put together quickly.

He continued to sense the location of the alien that chased him allowing him to slightly predict the path of their movements better before dropping something else.

Each movement was less obvious to make it not look like he was purposefully trying to throw something or making similar actions.

Something made contact with the alien that chased behind him before a very small blast went off causing them to be blown back.

Their body seemed to be very durable but that was not enough to endure such a blast from a close range.

They were blown back toward the hard metal wall within the spaceship before bouncing back from it.

A large chunk of their leg seemed to have taken most of the blast causing it to be damaged. "UUURRAAARGH!"

They got back up on their feet before stumbling forward.

The speed was quite quick but nowhere as near as what had been achieved so far.

The speed and movements were greatly reduced compared to before.

Each sluggish and clumsy movement that was created by the wound was read by Ashwin as he was still predicting each small action that would come.

With a small movement of his wrist, something else that was invisible began to head toward the path that the alien was moving in.

It happened once again causing the other leg to be affected.

Just as the alien was about to struggle to climb back up which showed their high willpower and determination, it looked toward the figure that appeared in its vision. "Huh?"

Above it was the outline of the figure that belonged to Ashwin.

He launched himself toward the vulnerable figure of the alien before coming down onto it.

What could not be seen was the concealed lightsabers that had been held in his hands.

With an activation of both of them with a press of the buttons, the beams of hot energy materialized and reached out further very quickly.

The reach of both of them became longer while Ashwin was able to close the distance even more.

Both of his arms reached out further before tightening his grip and turning his wrists.

With a swift movement of both of his hands, he performed a cross-slash toward the neck of the alien.

There was a little resistance at first but the heat of the lightsabers caused the wound to be burned through quickly and it soon was met with less of an obstruction.

Both lightsabers passed through the neck cleanly causing the head to fall toward the ground while the rest of the body followed.

Ashwin turned them off with a push of the buttons then put them aside as his form became visible once more. "Haahh... such useful things I have obtained."
