Kaiju No.8: Beyond

After the Defence Force grasp the victory against Kaiju #9 and the Unknown Kaiju emerging from its visage; it's obvious they will celebrate the secure victory afterwards. And embrace the fate granted to them.

Meanwhile, Kafka is sealed with his Kaiju visage form due to him overlook the conclusion to his form. Even so, he is still considered as a hero amongst humanity after perceived his image as a protector.

Experiencing his best and ordinary life alike to his daily actions as himself; training, exercising, eating and playing. Although, he still work as an Officer and league above most protectors in the Defense Force.

"Senpai. Now that you had reject your humanity, what will you begin after this? Assuming others will likely felt uneasy or forcefully accept of your existence." Reno ask Kafka with his usual tone.

"Well, I just act normal. Probably work.", Kafka respond with a grin although the grin isn't visible much.

"Already expected that answer. Regardless, you still yourself even with a cc form of that Kaiju. No one should worried much.", Reno responds casually.

"I did go berserk while fighting General Isao after my Kaiju reign over my body and lost control... Maybe I should kept as a secret for now... Oh wait, Kikoru probably already told Reno about this... Kahk! I ignore that for now...!", from Kafka while struggling to let it out.

As Reno bewildered by the bizarre expression that Kafka made while talking to himself within. They spent their time sitting on a bench and viewing the bright, peaceful and soothing terrain including the sky. Relaxing in a park.

Out of the blue, a bright light tail is approaching the city nearby that caught Kafka and Reno's attention. From its vast velocity that exceed Reno's perception and Kafka's, albeit slightly.

Immediately after the arrival of the mysterious entity, the Third Division hastily warn a mysterious Kaiju with only a small fortitude of 1. Descending in front of the Third Division Base; plainly, they decide to sent only a few officers to neutralized the Kaiju.

Thereafter, the officers arrived to the destination and quickly aiming to the Kaiju without a second to spare. The drone caught an unpleasant appearance of the Kaiju.

A humanoid body figure, a thin body with purely white skin and texture, a visible skeleton body ribcage, height of reaching 7 feet, an unsettling circle levitate behind him with a spreading roots like a plant although with same texture as the entity and two human eye without a mouth.

The Kaiju calmly glance towards the officers without a worry, it doesn't raises it's finger nor moving a single muscle. It simply look at them.

Without hesitation, the officers swiftly fires multiple shots to the Kaiju. However, the response was sharp. The Kaiju effortlessly resist the shot, even grasp a bullet from one of them.

"I haven't provided a word yet, not even a sentence. Why rather shot me? Am I not believable upon your sight? Understandable.", the Kaiju aims the bullet it had catched earlier and shot it towards one of the officers. Instantly knock them out.

The bullet travels at superior speed to their weapon.

"I came here to meet someone named Kaiju Number 8; not with an intentions of killing one of you nor evading this place. Although I would still blow up this planet.", the Kaiju speaks calmly, regardless of the non-existent mouth.

The officers begin to tensed by the exclaims from the Kaiju and before they raised their weapon; they instantly fell down to the ground. The thud echoes throughout the area.

Okonogi, viewing the occurance from the drone gasp from the remarkable characteristics of the Kaiju.

"H-How is that even possible?? The fortitude of the Kaiju was estimated to be only 1, and similar Kaiju with a similar fortitude would easily get injured from it...!", Okonogi stated with a display of bewilderment.

Tens of officers arrived at the field and immediately attack the Kaiju without a delay. The Kaiju responded with a terse remark, knocking all of them down effortlessly.

Reno and Iharu observing from above was astonished by such actions and behaviors. Everything occur instantaneously. Their eyes cannot even grasp a single fraction of movements from the Kaiju.

They descends to the ground, begin to swiftly pursuing the Kaiju without hesitation.

"Iharu! You know what to do!", Reno remarks towards Iharu with determination.

"Yeah! I know, Reno!", Iharu respond with the same determination although have a grin.

They hastily preparing to shoot at the Kaiju vital parts or freezing it's body entirely until it's finally declare neutralized.

"Kaiju Number 8, is this your servants? They have courage to end me, albeit, they are nothing but a mere dust.", the Kaiju expressing about his thoughts of every officers.

Thereafter, Reno swiftly shot a bullet towards the Kaiju in a flash; concluded of the everything near the Kaiju frozen to an absolute zero. Including the Kaiju itself.

Iharu intervene and shot an explosive bullet directly aiming towards the Kaiju chest to reveal it's core location. Suddenly, their eyes display a huge unbelievable fear.

"A weapon construct and form by a visage of a Kaiju, fascinating; very fascinating. What is your species again? ... Oh Yes, humans. Don't decides on your fate.", the Kaiju effortlessly shattered the ice covering.

In a flash, Iharu's body flew away across the building. The Kaiju simply watch as Iharu's body punctures through multiple buildings.

"Iharu-!!", Reno's words was suddenly cuts off. His sight was blinded by nothingness and he only could felt the sensation of passing through multiple buildings; and finally his heart halted.

"I will avenged you both. Reno Ichikawa and Iharu Furuhashi! Thoughtless and ruthless, is only what I could imaged you!", Kikoru said loudly towards the Kaiju, with her tone of vengeance and anger.

"How much will I had to go through...?", the Kaiju asks calmly, without a sign of playful. It rather reveal a calm unbearable patience.

Kikoru wields her axe intensely, as she traded a sharp gaze upon the Kaiju without letting a single delay. Meanwhile, Kafka observing from the top of the Third Division Base with an uneasy sensation.

Even Hoshina standing besides Kafka that felt rather relaxed and unworried of the impactful occurance to the future. Currently, Hoshina didn't equipped Numbers Weapon 10 due to the possibility of it will be wrecked or needed more time to restore.

Kafka cannot wait any longer after seeing his very severed injured friend, Reno. His fist tightening and hatred overflowing up his body, likewise; Vice-Captain Hoshina doesn't allow for Kafka to intervene carelessly without predicting the possible conclusion.

Including anyone he had known before, they cannot let Kafka takes the chances before they finally know their weakness and vital points. Even so, Kafka hardly endures the unmovable self-control.

Returning to the Kaiju conflicting against Kikoru. In a flash, she immediately charges at the Kaiju and swings her battle axe fiercely towards the Kaiju. Suddenly, the axe passes through his physical form.

Without a single movements can be detailed from it, not even a mere of it. The Kaiju stood still while glancing towards Kikoru eye to eye. It didn't laugh, it never underestimate, it doesn't unmasked the true personality behind it nor it reveal it's inner strength; it's hollow.

"Squadron Style Ax Technique: Number One: Falling Thunder!!", as Kikoru performs the first technique upon the Kaiju without hesitation.

It directly impact the Kaiju to the head with an immense shockwave from the outcome. Wrecking the buildings nearby from it, unexpectedly; the Kaiju hand instantly grasped Kikoru's tip of the battle axe.

"Your armor, also construct by a Kaiju... Very surprising. Humans exploit them to enhanced themselves to position somewhere high, it's understandable. For your own survival and protection.", the Kaiju swiftly shattered the tip of the battle axe without difficulty.

The Kaiju blew away Kikoru to provide her few distances.

"Begin your strongest strike, I'm honor to acknowledge such strength.", the Kaiju spoke to her with a rather polite tone. Although, Kikoru doesn't feel anything kind hearted from it.

"You want influence me with your bullcrap?! I sense nothing from you! No sympathy, understanding nor kindness! The overflowing truth is the hollowness within you, and I won't spare you.", after Kikoru finished her express indicating to the Kaiju empty shell that dwells nothing but a void.

She hastily lunges at the Kaiju with much more intense grip to the battle axe and swiftly swings her axe towards the Kaiju; even so, the Kaiju effortlessly resist the impact. Leaving without a movements of muscle.

Kikoru rapidly and repeatedly swings her axe in multiple ways even directly to the neck of the Kaiju, the respond are sharp.

"Squadron Style Ax Technique: Number Six: Daruma Dropper Ten Hit!!", as Kikoru in desperation from the unbreakable resistance of the Kaiju.

The impact was a direct hit that travels all the way down to its feet, it's form hasn't move yet. The figure are still standing like a solid.

"I suppose I would be dead if I were a lifeform born in this planet.", the Kaiju spoke rather calm from the hit. This startled Kikoru immensely that she was in disbelief of the words that the Kaiju said.

"I-Impossible!! Officer Kikoru has Full Released of 90%!! Even so, her strength was much more improved than the battle against Kaiju No.15...!!", this statement startled everyone during observation that battle against the Kaiju and Kikoru

In an instant, a punch was struck through her heart that halts her consciousness entirely; including her body movements. The Kaiju fist was never raised during the fight, only it's eye.

Abruptly, she quickly took away and placing her somewhere safer than the current field of battles between them. Including rescuing Iharu and Reno.

"So you're Kaiju Number 8?", the Kaiju ask to Kafka, who is currently holding Kikoru on both of his arms. His sharp gazes towards the Kaiju display irritation and unpleasantness.

Kafka swiftly flee from the scene, as Vice-Captain Hoshina intervene to the battle against the Kaiju. Instead of equiped the Combat Suit, he had to equip Numbers Weapon 10 to withstand the formidable strikes from the Kaiju.

"You want to start a massive cause to this place? Just askin', although, a hollow shell doesn't develop sympathy. Since it's empty and the only thing guidin' you is your ravaging intentions.", without hesitation; Hoshina dashes towards the Kaiju and swiftly deliver a multiple swings.

However, Hoshina's blades passes through it's form like a liquid. 

"We could play with him for eternity. Don't you agree?", No. 10 asks Hoshina with a playful tone.

"Why do you want to play with a very formidable Kaiju like them? I'd rather overlook those playful intent and skip to obliterate this thing.", Hoshina exclaims with a very sharp tone that express seriousness.

Without spare a second, Hoshina swiftly strikes the Kaiju with his first technique.

"Sword-Slay Technique: Number Four: Wild Slasher."

Another flawless impact that only concluded of his slashes penetrates through the Kaiju like a liquid.

"Vice-Captain! You are increasing your Full Release up to 85%!! How did it increases so fast?? Mostly the process took a long time to reach this high!...", Okonogi stated towards Hoshina.

"It seems you felt rather bored, therefore. I will gift you some action.", the Kaiju finally take a step forward to the Vice-Captain.

As Hoshina about to take few distances, the Kaiju appeared instantly in front of him and punctures through his heart with his fist.

The Kaiju raises up his body; as for Hoshina begin to struggle against the Kaiju. No. 10 snatched one of Hoshina's dual blade and forcefully strikes the Kaiju dozens of time.

Until it shattered to small fragments. Afterwards, the Kaiju toss Hoshina to the ground far away. As the Kaiju about to leave, their courage hasn't end yet.

Hoshina forcefully full released his up to maximum, even so, the Kaiju didn't even glance back to him and continue to walk forward.

"Vice Captain has released 98%!! Vice-Captain!! Cut it off immediately!!...", however, Okonogi warnings was slowly overlook by Hoshina's courage.

"You will kill yourself. End it.", the Kaiju spoke calmly while walking foward.

Instantly bewildered Hoshina, even so, his courage are still burning within him. He prepared for his most potent technique to finally grasp the victory they yearned for.

"It's too early for you to die now. You will deceased with everybody, including your home planet afterwards. Spent some time I spare you.",

the Kaiju express with truthfulness that didn't reveal a sign of hatred and underestimate.

Regardless, Hoshina brush aside the words and charges towards the Kaiju with everything he had.

"Sword-Slay Technique: Number Six: 12-Layered Strike!!"

Another attack directly impacted the Kaiju, as Hoshina about to unleashed Air Slicer technique. He was intrigued thereafter the Kaiju effortlessly resist the violent strikes.

However, even after he secretly unleashed the Air Slicer technique. The cause doesn't affect the Kaiju to the slightest or even a mere.

As Vice-Captain Hoshina about to fall, Kafka swiftly took away Hoshina to the base.

"Kaiju Number 8! I will await you!", the Kaiju recommend for a fight between them and leaving a sign of patience.

In a flash, Kafka swiftly brought the body to the medical room and return to the top of the roof of the base.

"Mina. Just observed.", as Kafka descends to the ground in front of the Kaiju. Afterwards, they both traded glances between each other.

Ashiro simply nodded and accept the actions of Kafka.

"I really thought it would take a long time.", the Kaiju said. As it's tone finally reveal a sign of happiness. Albeit slightly.

"Don't expect any kindness after you hurt my FRIENDS!!!"

Kafka begins to unleashed fraction of his strength. Alarming the base of a Kaiju with a fortitude of 9.8 that is currently against a Kaiju with only fortitude of 1.

As Kafka launch himself towards the Kaiju, they begin to trade multiple blows even thousand of jabs. However, it appears the Kaiju simply evade each delivered punch while Kafka keep receiving one another.

In a flash, the Kaiju land an uppercut blow to Kafka that severely damaged him. Kafka swiftly grasp the Kaiju hand and pummeled him to the ground.

"Sure is enjoyable.", the Kaiju remarks with excitement.

It instantly throws Kafka through the multiple buildings, as Kafka quickly begin to halt his movements. The Kaiju instantly respond sharply with a disastrous blow to the face.

"What is this speed...?! What is that muscles...?! Even his punch enough to obliterate me..!!", Kafka exclaims from within. Revealing an emotion of worried and tense.

The Kaiju grasp the face of Kafka and pummeled him down to the ground potently, causing a massive earthquake around the area. Rumbling the sturdy buildings up to tens of kilometers away.

Kafka hastily boost his leg to flew off, taking few distances away. Regardless, the Kaiju instantly appeared behind him and delivers an axe kick to his head.

Graving him the underground below, while the Kaiju slowly descending to the ground. It's body is still relaxed and well calm, despite the strength it unmasked was catastrophic.

"...You still had those power hidden? Aren't you? Kaiju Number 8.", the Kaiju respectfully ask with a confidence like tone.

"I need to use everything...!! I won't let my home destroyed...!!!", Kafka remarks with the unbreakable determination to ending the deeds of the Kaiju.

While the Kaiju are still currently in a process of descending to the ground, the voice of Kafka echoes loudly throughout the area.

As the Kaiju swiftly searching for Kafka as it suddenly arrived in a enormous hollow cave. The Kaiju was unexpectedly ambush from behind from Kafka.

The Kaiju quickly deliver a round house kick towards Kafka, as he swiftly blocked the impact with both of arms. Kafka deliver a push kick to the Kaiju, providing some spaces.

Yet, the attacks are nothing to hurt the resilient Kaiju.

"I, Hibino Kafka, isn't a person who will let my friends sacrifice for the sake of nothing!!", Kafka immediately charges towards the Kaiju.

"Hibino Kafka? what is the Kaiju Number 8 supposed to be for? A nickname I assumed.", the Kaiju simply counter attack Kafka's charging strike.

Painfully, Kakfa had to use his strongest form to finally scratch the Kaiju; the idea he had to save before the situation got further devastating.

While Kafka mind fueled by the difficult thoughts, a blow impacted upon his chest that paralyzed him for a moment.

"K... Kil... Ki... Kill... Kill...", the Mysterious Larvae demand towards Kafka, as he responded with agreement.

"I heard you, and I'll admit your decision isn't stupid..."

As Kafka forcefully transformed to his Berserk Form with a full control over everything, everything shattering and crumbles to fragments.

Every debris and stone chunks torn apart and flew across everywhere, the intense energy creates an amusement for the Kaiju.

Kafka hastily boost himself, launching him at a velocity surpassing every humans speed. Unexpectedly, the Kaiju flew towards Kafka at comparable speed.

Kafka immediately reaching his hand to block the Kaiju strike, only to be irrelevant as a huge chunk of the cave fell down to him.

The Kaiju instantly deliver an upward kick to his abdomen, paralyzed him once again. Affecting him much worse than the prior one.

Kafka toss the chunk away and he immediately boosted his arm to maximum, without delay; he delivers the blow to the Kaiju directly to it's chest.

Forming an enormous shockwave to the point of causing the whole cave to crumbled to huge chunks, dust and debris covering every corner and every spot.

Yet, the Kaiju. Are still unaffected.

The Kaiju calmly glance and raises it's hand towards Kafka, aiming directly to his face. An unknown life energy coating the like a ball of light.

The energy slowly shaped into a sphere ball of light. Kafka are wordless after witnessing the unpleasant view he caught within his sight.

The Kaiju blast the energy ball directly to Kafka. Concluded of Kafka paralyzed and incapable of moving anything from it. He cannot describe the experience he is in currently.

As the chunk of the cave above fall down upon both of them, only the Kaiju take it's leave. Leaving Kafka on the ground, vulnerable, defenseless, powerless and desperation.

The Kaiju casually levitate above the collosal hole chunk from Kafka's punch. Peacefully observed the surroundings of the area, although, have something hidden inside.

"You don't say anything to your terminal friend?", the Kaiju glanced at Ashiro, a tone of confusion and bewilderment accompany the expression.

Captain Ashiro quickly raises her weapon to aim towards the Kaiju. Yet, the Kaiju is unimpressed and simply let her be.

"Suit yourself.", was the word given to her.

"Hibino Kafka, you have the potential. Arise from the rumbles that rest upon you! The word give up isn't the definition you remember throughout the life you live in! Understand your planet needs you, the mankind rest themselves on your shoulders, and your one friend who is fiercely aiming at me. Which I don't know it's name.", The Kaiju simply begin to provide some motivation to Kafka; who is currently on the edge of deceased.

"Hey, Hibino's friend. Say something to him.", the Kaiju suggest her with a calm tone without expressing any hatred or eagerness.

Bakko appeared besides her and glaring sharply towards the Kaiju. Even so, the expression of the Kaiju are still hollow. And never display a sign of intrigued.

Suddenly, Ashiro took a shot towards the Kaiju. After the bullet immediately made contact with the Kaiju; the bullet simply shattered from the impact.

"It doesn't even scratch him??!!", Okonogi said as herself on the verge of passing out and shaking. As the spectators viewing from the drone camera all felt the same.

"I could've reflect that.", The Kaiju affirmed and now begin to overlook of her existence from her behavior for now accompany to support him of awakening Kafka.

Suddenly, a huge burst of energy escaping from the debris on Kafka; causing the fragments to flew across the area at very quick velocity.

Thereafter,

Kafka ascended from the ground with a enhanced extraordinary characteristics and life energy, even altered to a much more alternative features and aspects.

Covering him was a visible aura of glowing light to anyone, even anything capable of sense the immensely potent energy that Kafka finally manifest.

"Hibino, you can finally show everything you've got to protect this planet. And the adventure throughout the vast space, is worth my centuries!", The Kaiju express himself with a much revealing tone of joyful and eagerness.
