Tengussy or Kenjussy?

__________

Tokyo Colony No. 1

Choso froze similarly to when he heard him ask for death, but this time...

He froze for a different reason.

Yuji called him his brother.

After all these years, he finally heard the thing he had been waiting for.

"Bro."

Yuji had a small sweatdrop as he saw Choso stare at him without saying anything. "Hello?"

*boof*

...

Choso fell backward and passed out.

...

With how fast everything seemed to be happening, Yuji stood still, stunned.

1. Sukuna awakens in his body.

2. He kills nearly 3000 people.

3. He gets knocked out by Naohiro's first punch during Sukuna's first fight.

4. He merges with Tengen, and Sukuna comes back.

5. Sukuna loses again, and he gets another black flash to the face, knocking him out again if not for Naohiro forcefully pulling him back.

6. He finds out he has a brother.

All of this being in the span of a few hours.

Before Yuji could say anything, Naohiro spoke up. "Don't worry, Yuji, he's just like that."

He blinked. "Oh."

Gojo spoke up. "What about Tengen?"

Naohiro sighed. "*Sigh* Her situation is weird. She is still inside Yuji but isn't responsive and is chained up on a wall."

Gojo tilted his head to the side. "Can you get her out?"

Naohiro sits up. "Probably, but the issue is what to do with her once she comes out. I freed Yuji so he could help, but I'm not sure how we can get her to wake up."

*WOOSH*

Naoya appears out of nowhere. "I miss the fun?"

Naohiro smirked. "Don't act like you are a part of the lunch table."

He raised an eyebrow. "What a weird way to put it. I would've at least liked to watch you both beat up Sukuna. That reminds me, you see a guy named Kashimo?"

Naohiro threw his head back. "*Ugh* If the farmer stayed in the fields and was alive, then the merger wouldn't have started."

Naoya started sweating but cleared his throat. "*Ahem* anyways, more curses are starting to pop up, so if we can stop the chit-chat and get Tengen back in the Tombs, that would be great."

Gojo spoke. "That's the problem, she's asleep at the moment."

Naohiro turned toward Yuji. "Kid, come over here for a second."

Yuji glanced at Choso before standing up and walking over a few feet.

Naohiro spoke. "Can you talk or interact with Tengen?"

He shook his head. "The lady hasn't been talking like Sukuna used to."

Naohiro looked slightly annoyed. "That isn't what I asked. Can you talk back to her or force her to come back?"

Yuji closed his eyes for a moment but ended up shaking his head.

Without saying anything, he stood up and put his hand on the top of Yuji's head.

*pat*

Naohiro was done taking the roundabout way. Tengen was going to snap back to her usual self even if he had to forcefully do it.

Naohiro P.O.V.

*WOOSH*

Like I thought, this is going to be a pain in the ass.

Walking over to the chains, I stare up at Tengen. "Last chance, Granny."

She didn't respond.

Here goes nothing.

*grab*

I put my hands on the chains as I attempt to manipulate them to remove the bindings.

...

What?

My heart sinks as information floods into my head.

There's no way...

While removing the bindings on Tengen is easy, something is wrong.

Very, very wrong.

I always thought it was strange that Tengen and Sukuna could inhabit Yuji's body at the same time.

The precedent set was that only a single being could inhabit a vessel.

I simply thought that Tengen was a strange case due to her properties, but she does something completely different.

When she merges with people, they become a part of her rather than her becoming a vessel.

Riko no longer exists due to this fact since she merged in this timeline.

Kenjaku used this trait to do something irreversible to her.

Instead of someone merging into her, she merged into Yuji.

Which means only one thing.

...

Tengen no longer exists.

...

She is Yuji.

Rather than the other way around, she became Yuji.

The only thing keeping her here are the bindings.

As soon as these bindings are gone, she will disappear, and Yuji will gain her memories.

Yuji is the new Tengen

The perfect vessel.

...

The perfect merger.

...

A sad smile appears on my face. "Couldn't make things easy, could you, Kenjaku?"

I look up at Tengen while my grip on the chains tightens.

After I break this, the world will change in unknown ways.

I've got no clue if Yuji will still be himself after gaining the memories of someone who has lived for over a thousand years, but I have to make the call.

I take a deep breath. "*Inhale* *Exhale*."

*crack*

...

Outside Yuji's Inner Domain: 3rd P.O.V.

Yuji's eyes opened once more as Tengen's knowledge flooded his mind.

Naohiro similarly opened his own eyes.

He crossed his arms. "You alright, kid?"

Yuji stood still and stared at nothing before speaking. "Woah, what the hell is this?"

Gojo raised an eyebrow. "Naohiro, what happened?"

Rather than answering Gojo, Naohiro spoke to Yuji. "Are you Tengen or Yuji?"

Yuji tilted his head to the side. "I think I'm myself? I feel like my normal self aside from the insane amount of techniques and jujutsu that flooded my mind."

Choso shot up, no longer being unconscious.

*PHEW*

Like a bullet, Choso appears in front of Yuji.

He grabbed Yuji's shoulders and shook him. "Tell me, are you Yuji?"

Yuji had a small smile. "Yeah."

Before people could start asking questions, Naohiro spoke up. "Tengen merged into Yuji, meaning the granny is gone. She has become Yuji, giving him access to her knowledge. I've got no clue why, but it seems like his personality stayed the same."

Naohiro thought to himself. 'Is it because of the way he was created as a vessel?'

Rather than becoming Tengen, Yuji's body changed to as if he lived as Tengen. Similar to how his body remembered Sukuna's use of jujutsu in the main timeline, it's as if he used all of Tengen's abilities for centuries, as well as allowing him to use her technique.

In other words, Yuji is now immortal and can use the peak of barrier techniques as the new Tengen.

Yuji pointed to himself. "What does that mean for me?"

Naohiro scratched his hair. "We'll figure it out later, but for now, we need you to fix the barriers around Japan so the world doesn't go to shit."

Rather than asking questions, he nodded as he made a hand sign and closed his eyes.

Suddenly, multiple barriers expanded from Yuji's position and rapidly grew bigger as they became nigh-unseeable to anyone.

After a moment, Yuji lowered his hands.

He smiled. "That was easier than I thought it would be."

If any normal barrier user attempted to pull off this feat, it would be near impossible due to the concentration and precision required to maintain a barrier around Japan, but Tengen could passively do it without thinking much about it since she had done it for over a thousand years.

Yuji's body was unconsciously maintaining the barriers as if he were simply breathing.

Naoya spoke up. "This is so weird. So, is this stupid Culling Game thing over now?"

Naohiro smiled. "Yea-"

Gojo interrupted. "Nah, it's not over yet."

Everyone looked at Gojo like he was stupid, but he continued. "There's one thing left that I'd like to do."

While most were confused, Naohiro started piecing the puzzle together.

He turned to Naohiro. "It's been years and years, and there hasn't been a more perfect time to test ourselves. Let's find out who is the strongest."

The area went quiet as Gojo looked dead serious.

After a moment, Naohiro smirked. "Yeah, sounds like fun. Let's make it an event. In a couple of days, we can meet up in Shinjuku for a final fight."

Naoya looked at the both of them, and sweat dropped. "An event?"

...

...

...

Naohiro had a wide smile. "Yeah, let's call it the Shinjuku Showdown."
