"What His Majesty said is naturally reasonable, but my assistance here today is also for the benefit of all beings! With hundreds of Kings visiting, if there is even the slightest mishap, would it not plunge countless commoners into chaos?"

Facing the Jade Emperor, Jiang Liu spoke with neither humility nor arrogance. He didn't refute the Jade Emperor's words, but explained his own reasoning.
