Chapter 430: Challenge Everyone
"You actually dodged my attack?" Fengxin was surprised, then his eyes grew solemn, "You're no ordinary opponent, do you have some Kekkei Genkai?"
Naruto certainly knew about Kekkei Genkai, which were various unique Escape Techniques.
Speaking of whether he had a Kekkei Genkai...
"Yes!"
Naruto said with a grin, "I have Chakra Escape."
"Chakra Escape?"
Fengxin was puzzled; he knew about chakra but had never heard of Chakra Escape.
"Because I have a lot of chakra, it's called Chakra Escape," Naruto explained as if it were obvious.
"Are you mocking me?"
Fengxin snarled, fingers locked together, a surge of anger rising within him.
"Escape Technique!"
The air around them began to churn, swirling and converging towards the center, forming a massive tornado that nearly reached the sky.
"This is the power of the Escape Technique! It's really a typhoon, or rather, a tornado." Kakashi looked up, "It's also fortunate we're outdoors."
Naruto's expression tensed, and he didn't use his best Shadow Clone Skill. Instead, he focused his chakra on the soles of his feet, just clinging to the ground, his entire body covered in crimson chakra, resisting the fierce wind.
"Naruto, we can't go on like this," The voice of the Nine-Tails rang in his ears, "This guy's chakra isn't that impressive, but the destructive power of his Kekkei Genkai is strong. Without my chakra to protect you, your body won't be able to withstand it... Speaking of which, though you ninja's Ninjutsu is strong, your bodies are too weak... except for Haruno Sakura."
"Nine-Tails, stop with the smooth talk and lend me your real power. The wind is getting stronger," Naruto spoke inwardly.
"No way!" The Nine-Tails chuckled coldly, "Our relationship isn't that good, and if it weren't for Haruno Sakura, I wouldn't even bother talking to you."
"Quit rambling!" Naruto cursed, "Keep it up, and I'll have Sakura teach you a lesson!"
"You... You just know to ride on that woman's coattails," The Nine-Tails gritted its teeth in irritation and fear, feeling somewhat helpless.
"Are you lending it or not?"
"It's none of my business. You're not mature enough to handle my true power. Just control the chakra I leak for now, kid," The Nine-Tails said coldly.
"Fine, I'll figure it out myself. Just you wait for Sakura to beat you up tonight," Naruto cut off the mental link with the Nine-Tails, raised his hand to form a Rasengan, and then kept infusing it with chakra until it grew immensely large, nearly covering the entire field!
"Is Naruto trying to completely destroy this place?" Kakashi's eyes bulged as he placed a hand to the earpiece at his ear, "Sasuke, did you get it done?"
"Got it," Sasuke's voice came from the earpiece, "I saw Naruto's action too. Let's evacuate this place first, Teacher Kakashi."
"Hmm, you go ahead," Kakashi ended the communication, then said to Haruno Sakura, "Sakura, we should also leave. Later we can gather a group of Kekkei Genkai holders."
"I won't pry into your intentions, after all, you wouldn't harm Konoha."
Haruno Sakura looked at Kakashi in surprise, "Teacher Kakashi, why aren't you playing dumb this time?"
Kakashi said, "I never play dumb, especially given I have such a sarcastic student. I feel if I continue to play dumb, my conscience will completely erode away."
"Alright, I'll also share my intention," Sakura gazed at the giant Rasengan on the field, its powerful chakra even distorting the air around it.
"No, you don't have to tell me,"
"Hokage."
"What?" Kakashi was slightly taken aback.
"I hope that when I aim to become the Hokage, Teacher Kakashi will endorse me," Sakura said.
"Naturally, I would cast my vote for my own student," Kakashi thought Sakura had some other motive but turned out she aspired to be the Hokage.
"And then, I will change the world."
Sakura watched as the vast Rasengan smashed down, the immense energy instantly obliterated the tornado, and Fengxin was blown away, defeated and unconscious.
And the Rasengan in Naruto's hand also dissipated instantly.
"Phew~ Kekkei Genkai are really tough to deal with. It almost cost me a tenth of my chakra," Naruto complained.
"You were just careless," The voice of the Nine-Tails echoed, "If you had used Taijutsu from the start, he would've been beaten to the point of not being able to take care of himself."
"I must give others the chance to show themselves. It's a matter of respect," Naruto said with confidence.
"The warrior Naruto claims victory!"
Following the announcer's declaration, Naruto walked over to Fengxin, picked him up and awakened him: "Wake up, Fengxin, you've lost."
"I lost?"
After recovering, Fengxin didn't even glance at where Kosaburo was. He followed Naruto, ready to meet his new master.
Such was his fate.
Drifting along with no purpose.
"It seems Naruto has very strong control over his own chakra," Kakashi sighed in relief, looking at Naruto who had returned with Wind Heart and said to him, "You are free now."
"Free?" Wind Heart was taken aback, knelt on one knee, and pleaded, "Please don't drive me away. I will fight for you and obtain the possession of a stronger Kekkei Genkai."
Besides fighting, he knew nothing!
Only fighting!
He could only fight!
"Alright, you can stay by my side for now, and we'll discuss your future later," Kakashi said.
"Master, has your master always been like this?" Wind Heart nodded and walked over to Naruto's side, asking quietly.
"Master? No, he's Kakashi Sensei," Naruto corrected with a smile, "And my name is Naruto, Naruto Uzumaki. Uzumaki Naruto is just my alias."
"Kakashi?" Wind Heart realized that these people before him were no ordinaries, but it wasn't his concern, as he was just a tool, as long as he obeyed orders.
"Now it's my turn," Sakura said with a faint smile as she jumped into the arena that had been repaired by the Earth Release ninjas, and told the host, "I'm a warrior of Kasixi, and I will take this match."
The host replied, "I'm afraid that's not proper... There are rules to the competition."
"I agree!"
Suddenly, a businessman with light yellow hair appeared from the VIP box above, his hippie grin wearing square sunglasses seemed like he desperately needed a beating. The g&en+u-ine@ a#r^ticle$ r$e^s*i@d$es on M!|V|L&&E^MP^YR&.!
"Mr. Okuya, the big boss!" the host exclaimed in surprise, then smiled, "Since Mr. Okuya himself has spoken, naturally, we can change the rules of the competition."
"May I ask, respected powerhouse, what is your name, and whom would you like to challenge?"
Every merchant and noble on the scene looked at Sakura, some surprised by her courage, others coveting her beauty... most fell into the latter category.
After all, Sakura on the stage truly had a valiant appearance, especially her cherry blossom-colored long hair which made people unable to resist playing with it, and considering her young and cute face, she probably wasn't very old.
"My name is Red Sakura, the cherry blossom that is red," Sakura stated her alias, or rather, her codename, "and I challenge all bloodline limit Ninjas present here."
"Challenge everyone!"
Instantly, the entire venue fell silent as a grave.
"Has she gone mad?"
"I think this person wants to commit suicide!"
"If she loses, who does this woman belong to?"
"······"
"Is this your goal?" Kakashi narrowed his eyes.
"She!!!" Wind Heart, standing beside Naruto, was shocked and somewhat incoherent, "That's a bit... too crazy."
"You don't know Sakura; she's about to show her true power!" Naruto was confident in Sakura, even looking forward to her using all her strength, "You can only catch up once you see all she has to offer... She never used her full power when we sparred before."
"Is she that strong?" Wind Heart had fought against Naruto, whose chakra and the Rasengan aside from his physical skills, had made him unable to fight back.
"Very strong."
Naruto grasped the railing at the edge, admiration filling his eyes.
"Are you sure?" Okuya Castle's En stared blankly for a moment, adjusted his slipping glasses, and asked, his mouth agape, "Can you take on so many of our bloodline limit warriors and Ninjas on your own?"
"Man proposes, God disposes." Sakura's gaze was unwavering as she addressed Okuya Castle's En, "Do you have the final say here?"
"Although my influence isn't that great... Alright, I do have the final say here," Okuya Castle's En no longer pretended and cheerfully dispatched all his Ninjas, including Chino.
At that moment, Okuya Castle's En realized that the girl down there was one of the Konoha ninjas.
Only a ninja from Konoha could have such spirit!
Chino was his, Okuya Castle's En's, daughter, the sole survivor of the blood lineage aside from himself after he had annihilated the Bloodline Pool clan.
However, Okuya Castle's En had not acknowledged his daughter but instead trained her to be a Ninja, a warrior, so that she could have a better future.
In this world, one needed substantial power to survive.
Businessmen, after all, could not make it to the stage.
But if his daughter had a chance to be taken in by a Great Ninja Village, it would be better than working alone. Their Ninja Colosseum was situated discreetly within an island within the Land of Lightning.
Yet once discovered, the ninjas of Land of Lightning would not spare them.
The Land of Lightning, unlike other countries, had a Hidden Cloud Village that could obtain greater authority from the feudal lord, and would not be too reverent towards nobility, especially since their nobility came from various other countries. Should Hidden Cloud Village decide to wipe them out in one swoop, they could extort a large sum of property unique to the Hidden Cloud Village, without having to consult the feudal lord of the Land of Lightning.
He and his daughter, the two remaining members of the Bloodline Pool clan, would likely be exterminated by the Hidden Cloud Village.
The Bloodline Pool clan had already been destroyed by him.
But his daughter needed to survive.
Therefore, his daughter had to live in a place outside the Land of Lightning, and now there was a good opportunity.
