Journey to the West: Life Simulation of Sun Wukong

Chapter 384 Friendship

"Sakura, don't worry, just take your time writing, you'll definitely reach the 500-word count." Seeing Sakura crumple up her essay paper and toss it into the trash, Ino thought Sakura wanted to write her report as perfectly as possible and comforted her, "Iruka-sensei won't be that strict."

"That's right, just like me."

Akimichi Choji showed off his report, which had reached 500 words, with the following written: "In school, I met a lot of people, Shikamaru Nara, Yamanaka Ino, Haruno Sakura, Naruto Uzumaki..."

And then there was a long list of other classmates' names.

This method of padding the word count was really something else.

Finally, Akimichi Choji concluded, "However, my best friends are still Shikamaru, Ino, Sakura, and Naruto, but Naruto ate a whole bunch of my chips, so he only just barely counts as my friend."

Shikamaru gave a look that was beyond words.

Could this even be considered a report?

Surely Iruka-sensei would have Choji rewrite it.

"Hehe." Ino also found it somewhat amusing, "Anyone could write a report like that, but you really did reach 500 words."

By this time, Naruto had finished washing the dishes and glanced over to see the last sentence Choji had written, and immediately couldn't sit still: "Choji, how can I barely count as a friend?"

"You ate a whole bunch of my chips!" Choji said seriously.

"It's just chips, I'll give them back to you next time," Naruto mumbled with a pout.

"Alright then," Choji actually picked up his pen and wrote on his report: [However, Naruto does keep his promises, so he still counts as one of my best friends.]

"Thank you, Choji," Naruto said excitedly as he hugged Choji's ample belly.

"You're welcome, Naruto," Choji chuckled, "So, when do you plan to give back the chips?"

"Haha, let's talk about that later."

Naruto laughed it off, changing the subject, "Let's get back to writing reports first."

"Yeah," Choji nodded, he didn't really care if Naruto would ever give back the chips since Naruto was his friend, right?

Naruto took out his essay paper, a pencil in his mouth, his head brimming with ideas.

If he was to write, he estimated he could write a thousand words, but when it came to actually writing, he couldn't put down a single word because there was just too much content, especially related to Sakura.

"Sakura... hehe..."

Thinking of Sakura, Naruto's expression changed as if he was already fantasizing about a future where he was married to Sakura, he had even thought of names for their future children. Findthischapter'ssourceonMV-LEM-PYR.

They would be called, Boruto, no, better call him Pinzhu...

"What are you thinking about?" Sakura slapped Naruto's head to snap him out of his daydream, "Hurry up and write."

"Got it!"

Naruto took the pencil out of his mouth and began to furiously scribble on his essay paper: [My name is Naruto Uzumaki, and I am a man who will become Hokage!]

With this as his introduction, Naruto continued to write: [I was called a demon fox, but I knew I wasn't, trying to gain attention through pranks but with little success and even making people dislike me more, but I didn't know what else to do... until that day, a light as beautiful as cherry blossoms appeared before my eyes, and she said, "Hello, my name is Haruno Sakura."]

[She is the light of my life!]

In the following section, Naruto described his friendship with Haruno Sakura, their battle training, tutoring, eating together, and finally, he mentioned: [Besides that, there is one more person I, Naruto Uzumaki, must defeat, and that is Uchiha Sasuke!]

"It seems you're still very fixated on Sasuke," Sakura leaned close to Naruto, glanced at the essay paper, and couldn't help but smile.

"Huh?" Naruto immediately covered his paper, "No, you can't look!"

"Hehe, everyone has already seen it." By now Sakura had also rewrote her report, roughly ten thousand words long, detailing the experiences of the term and a bit about her dreams.

"Sakura, you've written so many words?"

Ino exclaimed upon seeing Sakura's twenty-some sheets of essay paper, "Can I take a look?"

"Of course." Sakura handed them over without hesitation.

"I'll take some pointers too."

"I agree."

Shikamaru and Choji exchanged glances and also gathered around.

Especially Choji, although he had finished writing, he felt his report was a bit too simple and he might actually be asked to rewrite it next term by Iruka-sensei. So, he decided it would be wise to make some changes.

Finally, around 7:30 in the evening, everyone had finished writing their reports and set them aside.

"Naruto, do you have shogi at home?" Shikamaru asked, "It's still early before bedtime, so we could play a game."

"Don't have it, nope," Naruto scratched his head.

"That's what I thought," Shikamaru nodded and pulled out a set from his backpack, "Good thing I brought it with me."

"Shikamaru, you're well-prepared," Naruto said.

"I can't help it, who else but I am the second smartest here?" Shikamaru somewhat proudly said, "Let's play a few games."

"I don't know the rules."

"Me neither."

"I'm not interested in things that aren't edible."

Shikamaru held his forehead and said, "Alright, the rules of shogi may be simple, but if you start learning now, it will be really boring because I can guarantee I'll win every time."

"Sakura, do you know how to play shogi?"

"I do, but I don't play much." Sakura nodded, explaining her level of shogi skill, "But we're all going to be ninjas in the future, so why don't we play ninja games instead, using chakra."

"We don't have enough chakra," Shikamaru said with concern. "Even the most basic Three-body Skill is beyond us."

"I can do the Shadow Clone Skill!" Naruto suddenly exclaimed, then crossed his fingers and shouted, "Shadow Clone Skill!"

Instantly, two Narutos appeared beside him.

They were just chibi versions, palm-sized.

"So cute!"

Sakura picked up a mini Naruto in each hand, squeezing them.

And those two mini Narutos seemed to enjoy Sakura's pinching as if they had a sense of touch.

"Damn it! Why are my shadow clones enjoying this!" Naruto gritted his teeth with envy in his eyes, even jealous that he wasn't one of the shadow clones.

"Naruto, how did you learn the Shadow Clone Skill?" Shikamaru asked.

"Oh that, Grandpa Hokage taught me, but no matter what, I can't create clones that are exactly like me. They're either small or squishy." Naruto scratched his head.

"It's because of poor chakra control," Sakura sensed that the moment Naruto used the shadow clone, that strange surge of chakra within him seemed to disrupt his own chakra, causing slight fluctuations and making the clones so small.

But this also had its advantages.

If Naruto could adapt to it, he might be able to harness that chakra and eventually reach an exquisite level of chakra control in the future.

"So how do I improve my chakra control?" Naruto asked.

"Well, I'll teach you later. For now, let's play a ninja game. You have enough chakra, Naruto, so you don't need to give any," Sakura said as she wiped a hand over Ino, Shikamaru, and Choji, who were clueless about what was happening. Suddenly, they felt an incredibly strong chakra within them.

"What a warm sensation!" Ino felt a warm flow inside her, circulating through her body's channels.

This was Sakura's chakra!

Can chakra be stored in the body?

Shikamaru wondered.

Chakra is a combination of bodily and mental energy, representing both matter and force. In a sense, once a ninja reaches the level of instinct in refining chakra, the amount of chakra is entirely dependent on physical strength and mental quality.

In layman's terms, the amount of chakra is directly related to a ninja's physical stamina.

But Shikamaru had never seen chakra passed on for others to use like this before.

Indeed!

Sakura had a secret!

However, Shikamaru didn't care and had no intention of delving into it. Knowing that Sakura was their friend was enough.

"What's this, Sakura? I want your chakra too," Naruto said with longing.

"You already have enough chakra," Sakura said helplessly.

"I still want it, Sakura, Sakura, Sakura!" Naruto kept begging until the reluctant Sakura finally infused her chakra into Naruto.

"Oh~ This is Sakura's chakra? It's so warm and comfortable!" Naruto showed an expression of sheer enjoyment that made everyone else disdainful.

"Naruto, your face is so ugly!" Ino said with disgust. "You look exactly like the creepy old men I've seen on the streets."

"I'm not a creepy old man!" Naruto protested.

"Enough already, let's not fight. Let's play the ninja game. Let's start with the Transformation Jutsu," Sakura took out a book from her backpack that contained various animal photos.

"For the first round, I'll be the judge," Ino took the book and flipped through it, finding a picture of a panda. "Let's transform into this."

"No problem, watch me," Naruto was the first to transform, becoming a black-and-white bear, "How about that? I'm awesome, right?"

Naruto's transformed bear looked exactly like the one in the picture.

During the transformation, Sakura clearly saw that when the Nine-Tails' chakra tried to interfere with the chakra she lent to Naruto, it was absorbed by her own chakra instead.

Therefore, Naruto was able to control it more easily.

And since Naruto's transformation was so lifelike, Sakura was certain that Naruto had an extraordinary talent in ninjutsu, as long as he wasn't disturbed by the Nine-Tails' chakra.

"My turn!" Shikamaru also used the Transformation Jutsu, turning into a panda, except this one had extremely, extremely heavy dark circles.

Next up was Choji, whose transformed panda had only one characteristic—it was fat.

Last was Sakura, who looked exactly like the panda in the picture apart from wearing a red dress with silver patterns, appearing very stylish.

"Sakura's so cute!" said the panda that Naruto had transformed into.

Ino held her forehead—

This guy Naruto was beyond hope.
