Journey to the West: Life Simulation of Sun Wukong

Chapter 380: It was Naruto who made the first move!_2

However, Sakura merely tilted her head back slightly and dodged Naruto's kick. With a small bend in her leg, her knee struck Naruto's stomach in an instant, sending him flying.

"Naruto, you still prefer a straightforward approach," Sakura lowered her knee, chuckled and said, "But that won't be enough to beat me."

"The taijutsu taught to me by the Hokage is so useless," Naruto complained, rubbing his belly. The pain vanished in an instant, and he charged at Sakura once more.

And Sakura smiled slightly, raising her hand to meet Naruto, throwing him through the air once again.

It had to be said, over this past month, Naruto's progress had truly been substantial. His physical technique was now second only to Sakura, except he still didn't know how to adapt during battle, persisting in being direct and straightforward.

Against those inexperienced with physical technique, it was very effective, but against someone like Sakura who could measure up to the Hokage, it was riddled with flaws.

Nonetheless, Naruto was becoming more and more resilient.

This guy's healing ability was growing more and more astonishing. Although Sakura's own healing ability was also not bad, even though it hadn't reached the level of 'dead man, bone of flesh,' she figured that as long as a limb wasn't completely severed, it could slowly recover.

In the classroom, the other students watched Sakura toy with Naruto, all of them shaking their heads.

"Naruto is no match for Sakura," Choji said, munching on chips, stating a fact.

"You know, Sakura has really changed a lot," Shikamaru recalled how more than a month ago, Sakura had been timid and weak, but had become so cheerful because Ino had given her a ribbon, and her physical development was also fast, which he found incredible.

Maybe he should change his personality, too.

After taking a deep breath, Shikamaru thought it over but then dismissed the impractical idea, "Can't change it, it's inherited from the family, beyond any human effort."

Ino, however, was muttering to herself, wondering when she would ever grow as tall as Sakura.

"I really wish I could grow up fast, too," Ino sighed.

"Adults have their own troubles; maybe when we grow up, we'll be complaining about why we grew up so fast," Shikamaru said leisurely.

Ino gave Shikamaru a look, "You, you sound just like my old man."

Shikamaru shrugged, "My dad said the same thing to me, but I truly feel he wishes he could actually be a child again. Compared to my father dragging his weary body home every day, we kids are pretty lucky."

That said, Shikamaru himself often complained about why his own father came home so late every day.

Understanding was one thing, but after all, he was still a kid and always needed to vent his inner dissatisfaction.

Adults need to vent, and so do kids.

Looking at Shikamaru, whose face was youthful but his demeanor was prematurely old, and then glancing at Choji who was young but already nearly round as a ball, Ino suddenly felt weary.

"Sakura, you are really amazing," Naruto was again grabbed by the collar by Sakura and flung away, tumbling several times on the ground before standing up straight, yet his face was all smiles.

In his view, he had made progress, but he hadn't realized that the gap between him and Sakura was still so vast.

But he wouldn't give up!

Because he was a man determined to become Hokage!

"Class is about to start, let's stop here," Sakura raised her hand to look at her watch on her right wrist and stopped Naruto who was charging at her again.

"Class time is way too short, just fifteen minutes," Naruto grumbled, but he stopped what he was doing and, after dusting off his clothes, walked towards the classroom.

As for Sakura, she crouched down slightly, leapt up, and jumped through the window, back to her seat.

"Sakura, you won again," the girls who once bullied her came over to compliment her. Sakura, however, didn't take any false pride and maintained a nonchalant attitude.

At that moment, Uchiha Sasuke came over and said to Sakura, "You are strong, but I will catch up to you!"

"Then do your best," Sakura gave Sasuke a thumbs up, but Sasuke took it as mockery, his face turning red, "You wait, you stinking woman!"

Sakura squinted, pinched Sasuke's cheek, causing him to cry out in pain, "Let go!"

"What did you just call me?"

"Stinking woman, what about it?" Sasuke gritted his teeth, staring hard at Haruno Sakura, as if to imprint her visage in his memory.

"From now on you have to call me 'big sister,' got it?" Sakura leaned into Sasuke's face, making his scalp tingle and his eyes nearly brim with tears. But the pride of an Uchiha wouldn't allow him to cry, so the tears just swirled around in his eyes.

"Ah! Sasuke! What are you doing?!"

"Let go of Sakura right now!"

Naruto entered from the classroom door and immediately saw Sasuke's face close to Sakura's, almost about to kiss.

Shit!

How could he tolerate this?

Eat death!

Naruto charged over in an instant, tackling Sasuke whom Sakura had just let go. The two of them scuffled on the ground.

"What are you doing? Last in class?"

"I'm not last in class!" Naruto declared solemnly, "I can already score 50 points on the theory test."

"What's there to be proud of? I always score above ninety points," Sasuke retorted.

"Big deal, scoring ninety! I will reach that too!" Naruto, sitting atop Sasuke and grabbing his collar, shouted loudly at him.

"What does your score have to do with me? Get off me!" Sasuke tried to shake Naruto off, but had to admit a reality, Naruto's physical skill was now far better than his.

"Hey! What are you two doing?"

As Iruka walked into the classroom, he saw the two little brats fighting and immediately pulled them apart. Read ahead and get updates by visiting M^VLEMPYR.

"Iruka-sensei, Naruto started it," Sasuke called out.

"That's not true, it was Sasuke who bullied Sakura first."

Bullied Sakura?

Iruka looked towards Sakura.

Was there anyone in class who could bully her?

"Iruka-sensei, this is all a misunderstanding," Sakura stood up to explain. Naruto realized his mistake and, though still displeased with Sasuke, grudgingly apologized.

Sasuke seemed to rather enjoy Naruto's apology but just "hmphed" and turned his head away.

This annoyed Naruto, "Hey, Sasuke, don't get too cocky. After the third year, when the real combat training starts, I'll definitely beat you into a pig's head!"

"Who's afraid of who?" Sasuke and Naruto went head-to-head, neither backing down.

Compared to Haruno Sakura, Sasuke was even more irritated by Naruto.

Although Sakura was stronger, Sasuke felt that, for some reason, even if he could lose to anyone else, he absolutely could not lose to Naruto.

It was a strange feeling, but Sasuke didn't dislike it!

However, there was a fact right now: in terms of physical skill, Naruto had completely surpassed him. If this continued, he would certainly lose to Naruto in three years.

"No, once I get home, I must get my brother to teach me physical techniques and ninjutsu. I absolutely can't lose to Naruto!" Sasuke resolved in his heart.

Iruka separated the two boys again, saying, "Alright, stop quarreling. Just like ninjas, form the Reconciliation Seal, and let's consider the matter settled."

Neither of them willing, but under Iruka's authority, they reluctantly touched their hands together, forming the Reconciliation Seal.

"I never want to have to touch your hand again." After forming the seal, Sasuke immediately shook off Naruto's hand, wiping his own with a look of disdain.

"As if I like holding hands with you." Naruto was still pondering the strange feeling from shaking hands with Sasuke, but after Sasuke's comment, he said disdainfully.

"Okay, that's enough. Class is starting, back to your seats everyone." Iruka addressed the students and then turned to Sakura, "Sakura, could you help out as a teaching assistant?"

"Of course, my beloved Iruka-sensei."
