Journey to the West: Life Simulation of Sun Wukong

Chapter 350 Simulation Ends

"Sun, will we ever meet again?" Wang Chao was somewhat melancholic, this parting might be forever.

"Isn't there plenty of opportunity to meet?" Sun Shisheng laughed, "In the Heart Realm and the simulated worlds, aren't there countless themes related to Journey to the West? They've all evolved into reality."

"Alright, no more joking."

"The vast multitude of worlds out there is truly immense. If it's destined, we shall meet again. After all, you all have achieved immortality, haven't you?"

Sun Shisheng's figure completely faded, eventually disappearing into nothingness—

"Sun's gone, huh."

Wang Chao's gaze turned to the chaos beside him.

"What's with that look?" Chaos felt somewhat uneasy, "Sun Shisheng did say he wouldn't kill me!"

"Sun might have promised you, but I didn't," Wang Chao chuckled coldly, rubbing his hands together in eagerness, "Will you open up a new timeline yourself, or shall we beat you to death and let your corpse evolve into a world born out of your demise?"

"You guys?" Chaos looked towards the child of chaos, only to find him turning his head to gaze at the azure sky, as if infinite Dao lay there.

"Fine, I will continue to slumber, evolving the world." Chaos was somewhat resentful but helpless. In the end, he let himself fall into a slumbering state.

In an instant, a new world was born...

...

[Simulated Realms!]

[Galactic Emperor's World! Ended!]

[Calculating rewards...]

Sun Wukong paid no heed to the Heavenly Dao life simulator but looked inside at his Primordial Spirit and discovered that his own True Spirit had returned and merged with the Primordial Spirit. Then, at its back, it transformed into a glossy, round pearl, within which existed everything of the Heart Realm.

But it was not the Heart Realm experienced by his True Spirit; it was a projection.

Even so, Sun Wukong could still observe the Heart Realm's development through the pearl.

Only, without the simulator's enhancement, the time in the pearl was now consistent with that of the Three Realms where his true body resided.

"That Heart Realm is indeed uniquely blessed in terms of combat strength. In matters of combat, even I, Sun, dare not claim a certain victory at the same level, although that bit of True Spirit has already obtained the strength of that world, enabling me to make further progress. I have gained new insights into all three teachings of Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism."

"Especially Confucianism. I have completed that path and attained divine status in Confucianism."

"What a stroke of destiny!"

Joyfully, Sun Wukong also had some ideas on how to establish a nation in Huaguo Mountain.

This realm and the Heart Realm may differ, and one cannot generalize, but the principles are interconnected. Intelligent beings, creatures with spirit, as long as they are properly educated, are naturally capable of understanding each other.

[Rewards calculation complete!]

[Congratulations, Host, for completing your first simulation across the realms. You may receive the following rewards:]

[One, the strengths you've accumulated in this simulation... Error! Error!]

[Please, Host, don't retrieve your True Spirit without permission from the system! This is the first warning! And the last warning! Otherwise... no rewards will be given to you in the future.]

"Heh!"

Sun Wukong sneered, as everything his bit of True Spirit had gained from his experiences in another realm had already returned to him. What need would he have for rewards from the Heavenly Dao life simulator?

However, he still couldn't quite see through the true nature of this thing.

It seemed similar to the cheats of main characters in those simulated realms, yet, with Sun Wukong's current capability, although not omniscient and omnipotent, creating a system-like treasure was merely trivial.

Even more so, based on the principles of the Heavenly Dao, creating something akin to the Heavenly Dao life simulator for others to deduce the future was not difficult.

But this Heavenly Dao life simulator seemed to arise out of nowhere, truly bizarre.

"As long as it brings no harm to Sun, that's good enough," Sun Wukong mumbled.

[Please choose one of the following rewards, three options available.]

[One, Wang Chao. (Note: As your first good buddy in the simulation, how could you not choose him? Are you even brothers?)]

Sun Wukong thought that Sun Shisheng was the one who knew Wang Chao, what did that have to do with him, Sun Wukong?

Besides, he didn't need a Yuanshi Tianzun as a protector; if the Yuanshi Tianzun above the Thirty-Three Heavens knew about it, he'd think he was being belittled.

After all, he had no quarrel with Yuanshi Tianzun, so there was no need to make it awkward for both of them.

[Two, Su Jie. (Note: In the simulation, you spent a lot of time observing this guy, so you must be interested in him. Not choosing him would be a disservice to your own heart.)]

Suddenly, Sun Wukong's head was filled with black lines.

It was clear enough. N$ote. f^r^o%m the e&dit-o!r*: Al!ways ch^eck$ MV%2LEM*P^YR% for c-o!r&re#c*t-i@o#n^s*.!

This Heavenly Dao life simulator must have developed some intelligence, probably displeased that he retrieved his True Spirit and gained all of the reincarnation's benefits without its consent.

Hmph!

Peddling pettiness!

[Three, Jiang Li. (As an anomaly of the galaxy's Great Emperor realm, although your appearances were few, you were clearly given significant attention. Now only a wisp of spiritual light remains, devoid of any thought or will, yet it possesses immortality.)]

"Let it be this one." Sun Wukong chose Jiang Li, after all, this fellow had lost all thought and will, existing merely as a bundle of immortal spiritual light, which maybe could be used for crafting magical artifacts, and perhaps the artifact might even transform into a form one day.

A tiny wisp of pale, weak spiritual light appeared out of nowhere before Sun Wukong, who could not even sense any spatial fluctuations; it really seemed as if it had been created from thin air.

Sun Wukong took it in his hand and summoned Ao Yun.

"Brother, what do you need me for?" Ao Yun, hearing Sun Wukong's call, rushed into the palace.

"How long have I been in seclusion?" Sun Wukong asked.

"About a year," Ao Yun replied without a moment's hesitation. "Now, there are more creatures on Huaguo Mountain and after building a few more cities, combined with the holy city outside Shuilian Cave, there are eighty-one cities in total. It's not far from the goal of one hundred and eight cities."

"Hmm."

Sun Wukong nodded and handed the wisp of spiritual light to Ao Yun.

"What is this?"

The spiritual light, the size of a grain of rice and faintly luminous, gave Ao Yun a sense of immortality.

"This is Innate Immortal Spiritual Light," Sun Wukong named it, "what I achieved from this seclusion. You should merge it with the Cornucopia, it will make it more sentient."

The Cornucopia, the birthplace of the eternal currency of the Heavenly Dao, would naturally grow quicker if merged with this immortal spiritual light, turning it into a precious treasure.

"How do I merge it?" Ao Yun took the spiritual light, curiously asking.

"Just place it inside the sphere in the Cornucopia," Sun Wukong instructed. "The light will automatically enter the treasure and co-exist with it."

"But you need to communicate with the Cornucopia regularly."

Communicate?

Ao Yun's mind was filled with confusion.

"After merging with this immortal spiritual light, the Cornucopia will be able to become a true life form in the future. But at first, it will be like a newborn child, ignorant and without knowledge; it needs guidance," Sun Wukong explained.

"I will certainly not disappoint big brother," Ao Yun said earnestly, taking the spiritual light to the Cornucopia.

Sun Wukong then went to the Tower of Myriad Books, writing furiously, recording all the knowledge he had accumulated during his simulation, whether it was formations, runes, alchemy, artifact refining, or even science, the Ruddy Radiance, all of it was noted.

In the blink of an eye, a mountain of books piled up before Sun Wukong.

Passersby saw Sun Wukong and quietly left, not daring to disturb him, with only The Bodhisattva Guanyin stopping to pick up a book titled "Ruddy Radiance", astonished after flipping through it.

Next, Sun Wukong stopped writing, blew on the paper, and the books were already sorted and placed on new shelves.

"Bodhisattva, long time no see," Sun Wukong smiled.

"I have taken the liberty to come uninvited; I hope I did not cause any inconvenience to the Spiritual King," The Bodhisattva Guanyin expressed, with a bow.

"Not at all," Sun Wukong shook his head. "Bodhisattva, have you been here this whole year?"

"I have," The Bodhisattva Guanyin nodded. "With the plethora of books and scriptures here, it's natural for me to savour them thoroughly."

Sun Wukong laughed heartily, teasing, "Bodhisattva, if that is so, I'm afraid many in the world who need your aid to relieve their suffering will be experiencing hardship."

"Spiritual King, you are quite humorous," The Bodhisattva Guanyin shook her head and chuckled. "But indeed, spending so much time here has indeed delayed my practice. However, I wonder if I might be able to visit often during my free time?"

"The Bodhisattva's arrival surely brings glory to Huaguo Mountain," Sun Wukong laughed heartily.

Afterward, The Bodhisattva Guanyin, holding the book in her hands, inquired, "May I ask, Spiritual King, are these your insights?"

"Not entirely,"

Sun Wukong said, "During this year of seclusion, one wisp of my True Spirit journeyed through the heavens to a Heart Realm, evolving the path of all spirits. These are the works of a woman, I merely edited them slightly; it's nothing noteworthy."

"Meng Xiaolan?" The Bodhisattva Guanyin, pointing to the three characters on the cover, questioned Sun Wukong.

"Yes."

Sun Wukong then shared with the Bodhisattva the experiences of that bit of spiritual light, garnering great admiration from The Bodhisattva Guanyin, "Excellent! Spiritual King, your deeds are of immeasurable merit!"

Sun Wukong humbly dismissed it, "Bodhisattva flatters me. That realm far exceeds our Three Realms by uncountable times, having undergone innumerable cycles of birth and death. Yet, the cultivators there are like the people of the Northern Jambu Continent in our realm, or even more extreme, mainly practicing by herding sentient beings and reaping souls. It truly made it hard for me to stand by and watch."

"Indeed," The Bodhisattva Guanyin could imagine that sort of environment shaping cultivators devoid of virtue and truth, who believe in the law of the jungle.

Yet, unexpectedly, the Spiritual King before her could stand against all beings and carve a path for the ordinary folks!

Truly extraordinary!

"Spiritual King, I shall take my leave first," The Bodhisattva Guanyin requested to depart. "But may I make a copy of this book?"

"You are certainly welcome to," Sun Wukong agreed at once. Following that, he added, "However, the Bodhisattva must leave your own insights to enrich the Tower of Myriad Books; if not, you must leave some worldly affairs behind."

"All things in this world, every meal and drink are governed by destiny, this is as it should be," The Bodhisattva Guanyin nodded, holding the book, sitting where Sun Wukong had been sitting, and without using spells, but taking up a pen and paper that lay nearby, she began to transcribe meticulously…
