The Silver Horned Youth also cried out, "Great Lord, that monk is simply too abnormal, Your purple-gold-red gourd was blasted open by just one punch from him. And your Seven Star Sword, which is used for refining demons, also got smashed into pieces with one headbutt, even the banana fan you use for fanning the flames during alchemy exploded in place from his punch. How can mortals be so fierce? If mortals were all this powerful, what would be the point in cultivating our Tao?"

Upon hearing this, Tai Shang Lao Jun slightly frowned and said, "You two don't worry about the monk's matters, and don't talk nonsense, understand?"

They both nodded repeatedly.

Tai Shang Lao Jun looked at his clothes and sighed, "Alright, you two go down later and find your uncle, Fox Qi Qi, and quickly get my Shimmering Gold Rope back. I don't even have a waistband to use, it's so uncomfortable..."

Having said that, Tai Shang Lao Jun lifted his pants and left.

Outside, he just happened to run into Jade Emperor who was looking for him. The two of them whispered to each other for a moment. Finally, the Jade Emperor asked, "Lao Jun, can't you reveal a little information?"

Tai Shang Lao Jun shook his head and said, "It's not that I won't disclose it, but I promised the Buddha to keep his secret. In short, you should stop inquiring too. Even if the Buddha hadn't pleaded with me, I wouldn't gossip about it. The karmic consequence is too great, whoever gets involved will have trouble..."

The Jade Emperor was clever. After hearing this, he asked in a low voice, "Could it be that Tang Sanzang is not the real Tang Sanzang?"

Tai Shang Lao Jun laughed, "Whether Tang Sanzang is Tang Sanzang or not doesn't matter. What's important is that his journey to the West is better than ascending to Heaven..."

Enlightened, the Jade Emperor gave a respectful salutation and said, "Thank you, Lao Jun, for clearing my confusion."

After speaking, the Jade Emperor took his leave.

...

"Gaga gaga!"

A rooster crowed raucously at the setting sun, and finally, it was dark... Continue your saga on empire

Tang Sanzang stood atop a small hill, gazing into the distance, where he could see the shadow of a tall mountain covering half of the sky. Judging by its height, it was undoubtedly an unusually large mountain.

Tang Sanzang sighed and said, "Wukong, there's a tall mountain ahead, I'm afraid there might be some demons... Wukong, where are you going?"

Sun Wukong promptly picked up Jingu Bang and said, "Master, please wait. I'll go kill those demons for you and then find a cook to prepare food and bring it to you!"

Zhu Ganglie saw this and quickly stood up, saying, "Eldest brother, I'll go with you!"

Then Sun Wukong and Zhu Ganglie soared into the air and flew toward the tall mountain ahead.

Tang Sanzang was speechless for a moment, then scratched his bald head and said, "Are disciples nowadays really this diligent?"

The White Dragon Horse snorted and thought, "It's not about being diligent, they're afraid those demons in their caves have alcohol, and they might capture you and then we'd all have to accompany you in burial..."

Sha Wujing squat quietly on the side, setting down the square table he was carrying, arranging stools, bowls, and chopsticks, sitting and waiting for the meal.

That was just like Sha Seng, standing four meters tall, truly someone whose arms could race horses and whose shoulders could match city gates. Although he wasn't good at fighting, he could carry quite an array of items. For example, he was carrying a large black pot on his back, along with a small square table. On his waist, he carried small stools for his master and fellow disciples, and a feed trough was strapped across his lower back, which at first glance looked like a unique weapon.

Furthermore, Sha Wujing was carrying a shoulder pole, one end holding clothes, the other laden with food and cooking tools.

All these items would seem cumbersome to anyone else, but he carried them with ease and even seemed to have room for more.

Of course, as gods, everyone had things like the Sumi Bag but...

Sha Wujing refused to use it.

Even Zhu Ganglie, who carried the load, also refused, and for a simple reason, "Without bringing anything, it's easy to be treated like trash by that baldy..."

No sooner had they arranged the tables and chairs than a somersault cloud descended, and Sun Wukong called out, "Master, look carefully, there is indeed a tall mountain ahead. However, it can't compare to the Flat Top Mountain, and at most, it's a medium-sized peak. There's a monastery on the mountain where we can stay for the night!"

Upon hearing this, Tang Sanzang immediately leapt onto the neck of the White Dragon Horse, who sat on the ground like a person, and slapped its head, saying, "Little White, move forward towards that direction!"

The White Dragon Horse quickly got up and started galloping forward.

It was almost midnight when the master and disciples arrived in front of the monastery, and looking up, they saw its name was quite odd—it was called the Imperial Treasure Forest Monastery.

Entering through the mountain gate, they saw on both sides, inside the red lacquered railings, a pair of Vajra sitting aloft, their sculpted majesties ugly and fierce-looking, like demons.

Moving further inside, there stood the Four Heavenly Kings—Dhritarashtra, Virupaksha, Virudhaka, and Vaisravana—representing the elements of the northeast, southwest, and the harmonious ordering of weather, their presence even more imposing.

Past the Hall of the Heavenly Kings, there was a large courtyard with four ancient trees whose canopies covered the sky like umbrellas. Behind the trees was a tall hall—the Great Hero Treasure Hall!

Tang Sanzang and the others peeked inside, only to see three figures...

"Who are these three fat men?" Tang Sanzang asked.

Zhu Ganglie quickly said, "Master, don't talk nonsense, these figures here are of the rank of Buddha ancestors in Buddhism. Each one is more formidable than the last..."

After a grunt of acknowledgement, Tang Sanzang turned and walked towards the back of the Buddha platform.

Zhu Ganglie said, "Master, aren't you going to bow to the Buddha ancestors?"

Tang Sanzang replied, "They wouldn't bear it."

As they spoke, they had already made their way to the back door behind the Buddha platform. Walking out the back door, they came upon a Guanyin Hall where the likeness of Guanyin saving those at sea was enshrined, and the walls were adorned with skillfully carved shrimp, fish, crabs, and turtles, heads poking out and bodies coiling through waves to pay homage to the Bodhisattva.

As they were looking, a monk walked out of the triple gate and immediately spotted Tang Sanzang, after all, his bald head shone brighter than his own, much too bright!

Upon seeing Sun Wukong, Zhu Ganglie, Sha Wujing, and the others, he staggered back in shock and exclaimed, "Demons!"

Sun Wukong quickly shouted, "Don't yell, don't yell, we are not demons. We are from the Great Tang in the eastern lands, on our way to the western heavens to worship and seek scriptures. We've come to this precious place, and as night falls, we request shelter for one night."

The monk looked at them suspiciously, but seeing that although they looked fierce, there was no malice in their eyes, and they were all trying their best to put on friendly faces, he gained some courage, pressed his hands together and said, "Amitabha, please forgive me, monks. I was... I got flustered just now. However, if you wish to stay, I'm not the one to decide. I'm only in charge of sweeping and striking the bell here.

If you want to stay, you need the abbot's permission.

Please wait a moment. I'll go and inform him. If he decides to host you, I will come to invite you in. If he does not, I will escort you out."

Zhu Ganglie frowned and said, "What do you mean by this? Since ancient times, monasteries have been like one family, and it's normal for monks passing by to seek shelter and food. Are you saying you turn away monks?"

The monk replied with a bitter face, "If you have doubts, you should ask our abbot."

Having said this, the monk turned and ran back inside.
