Chapter 220: Shopping for Clothes...
It was soon the weekend, and—as promised—Yui Kotegawa came over.
Ding‑dong, ding‑dong!
The doorbell rang. Shichen slowly opened his eyes to the angelic, sleeping face beside him.
He leaned over and planted a light kiss on her lips, then loosened the arm he had wrapped around her waist and sat up.
"Mm… ugh …"
Lala woke up too. When she sat up, the blanket slipped away—of course she had nothing on.
Shichen had bought her pajamas, but she simply didn't like wearing them to bed.
Fine—if she doesn't like them, she doesn't have to. Shichen wasn't that fussy, and cuddling her naked felt especially nice anyway.
"What's wrong?" Lala rubbed her eyes, still half‑asleep.
"Someone's here. I'll go see who it is."
"Oh… okay …"
Lala flopped flat on her back again.
Looking at her, Shichen suddenly craved pudding—milky white pudding topped with two tiny strawberries. It would be delicious.
He had actually tasted that "pudding" last night, but that was the sort of treat one never tired of.
Rolling out of bed, he slipped into a silky black lounge set and headed downstairs.
At the door he peered through the peephole and saw Yui Kotegawa outside, looking a little stiff and glancing around nervously.
What on earth was she afraid of?
Shichen smiled and opened the door.
"Yui, you're here early." He greeted her with a friendly smile and invited her in.
"N‑not early—it's already after nine."
"Really?"
He hadn't checked the time, but sleeping this late was surely because he'd spent too long "enjoying those two strawberries" last night.
He handed Yui a pair of house slippers, then watched as she took off her sandals and slipped them on.
Her feet were slim and lovely—fair, delicate, perfectly shaped.
"Pr‑Principal… c‑could you not stare?" Yui ventured after she finished changing shoes.
"Sorry—your feet are just too pretty," Shichen praised her without a hint of embarrassment.
"Ugh… Principal, you're not some womanizer, are you? You already have such a cute girlfriend."
"I'm just being honest. And didn't I tell you to call me 'Shichen-nii'? I'm still young, you know."
"Uh… o‑okay, Shichen-nii."
"That's better. Go on upstairs—she's still sleeping."
"All right… ah!"
As Yui set foot on the first stair she slipped, pitching forward head‑first.
Shichen's mouth twitched, but he reached out from the side, caught her around the stomach, and pulled her into his arms.
"So careless, huh?"
Feeling the broad chest at her back, Yui froze.
"Yui? What's wrong? Did you twist your ankle?" He tightened his hold and asked worriedly next to her ear.
"N‑no, I'm fine …" Yui's ears were ticklish; she instinctively shrank her neck.
"Really?"
"Shichen-nii… m‑my ears …" she whispered in a pleading voice.
"Oh—sorry." Shichen chuckled and drew back.
"A‑and your hand …" she added.
"Hm?" He looked down and found his hand resting on her stomach—flat and soft.
Today Yui wore a pale yellow dress under a beige vest, and there was still a layer of skirt over her mid‑riff.
His fingers twitched of their own accord.
"Mm… ah …"
Yui had never experienced anything like this; the strange sensation made her let out a tiny moan.
Shichen didn't push his luck—he let go. Feeling through clothes just wasn't the same.
But that smooth little tummy—he'd been fondling it nonstop lately. The silky skin, the petite navel—utterly irresistible.
Even Tohka and the others didn't feel this good; Shichen suspected it had something to do with Yui being an alien.
"How did you manage to slip?" he asked lightly.
"I‑it's all Shichen-nii's fault," Yui muttered, back still turned, too embarrassed to face him.
Her ears were bright red. "How is it my fault?"
"If you hadn't been staring at my feet… so shameless!"
"…Just looking at your feet is shameless?"
"Exactly! Shichen-nii, don't tell me you have a foot fetish!"
"Of course not!" Shichen denied at once.
"In any case, you're not allowed to do that again—you have a girlfriend."
"But you're the one who fell on me. Weren't you trying to seduce me?" he countered playfully.
"No way! What do you take me for?" Yui turned around, eyes brimming with grievance.
"Okay, okay—I was wrong. Just teasing." He raised his hands in surrender.
"Teasing isn't allowed either."
"Mm‑hmm, it won't happen again."
"Shichen-nii, you'd better keep your word… I'm going to see her."
"Sure… By the way, have you had breakfast?"
"I have."
"Too bad, I was about to make extra."
"H‑huh? Actually, I didn't eat much. I could have a little more…" Yui fidgeted shyly.
"Heh—like my cooking that much?"
"I‑I'm going up now!" she squeaked and fled.
Watching her retreating back, Shichen shook his head in amusement and went to the kitchen to make breakfast.
A purehearted girl really brightened his day. But she didn't seem to grasp his identity yet—he should explain it fully sometime.
…
"L‑Lala! Why aren't you wearing anything?"
"Yui? What brings you here?"
"Didn't I say yesterday I'd come over? Get dressed, quick!"
"Mmm~"
"Lala, don't tell me you slept with Shichen-nii like this?"
"Yep! What's the problem?"
"Sh‑shameless!"
"Huh?"
Upstairs racket aside, Shichen calmly steamed beef‑filled buns for breakfast.
After eating, the two girls dragged him out shopping.
Lala had barely ever been to the shops; there was a lot for her to learn, and Shichen was happy to keep her company.
He couldn't very well spend the whole day at home gaming with two girls, right?
Yui wasn't family—yet—so spending a day together didn't mean much… though it might, someday.
"Wow, so many people!" Lala bubbled with excitement on the bustling street.
Her outfit resembled Yui's: a pink dress under a white vest—she looked just like a princess.
The two girls linked arms with Shichen, one on either side. Even without movie‑star looks he was eye‑catching enough in that company.
"It's the weekend—crowds are normal," Shichen laughed.
"Can we go out again tomorrow?"
"We haven't even played today and you're already thinking about tomorrow?"
"Shichen~ pretty please?" Lala hugged his arm and wheedled.
"Of course."
"Hehe~ Shichen's the best! Yui, stay over tonight!"
"Eh? What?" Yui froze.
"Yui, how about spending the night at our place?"
"How did it turn into that?"
"Because we're going out again tomorrow."
"I never agreed!"
"It's fine~"
"But… where would I sleep? Won't I be in the way?"
"In the way? Just sleep with us."
"T‑together?!" Yui blushed crimson and shot Shichen a look.
"What're you staring at me for?"
"Sh‑shameless!"
"I‑I can't sleep with you two!"
"Why not~?" Lala asked, unconcerned.
"Of course there's a reason! Shichen-nii and I aren't even dating! How could I?"
"Really?" Lala looked to Shichen.
"Yui's just shy. If you sleep in the middle, it'll be fine," he said.
"Oh yeah~"
"Shichen-nii!" Yui pouted at him.
"I won't do anything to you."
"That's not—"
"Then you two can share the bed, okay?"
"Well… that's acceptable."
"Settled, then!"
"Eh?" Yui was stunned—how had she ended up agreeing to stay over?
Shichen gave her no time to object and changed the subject. "Isn't that a taiyaki stand over there? Let's try some."
"Taiyaki? What's that?"
"Something really tasty."
"Then I want one!"
"Come on." He took both girls by the hand and led them to the stall.
"Wait!" Yui protested, but couldn't break free.
At the stall Shichen let go and bought three taiyaki.
The trio, each holding one, headed toward the mall.
"Shichen~ this taiyaki's delicious!"
"Told you so," he said proudly—it was the favorite treat of a certain H‑averse girl from the future, after all.
"It is good," Yui agreed, nibbling daintily.
"Shichen, why'd we come here?"
"First, to buy you some clothes."
"What kind of clothes?"
"Underwear."
