A burst of negative energy erupted from Alice's body, surprising Maroon. Alice's head began spinning. She wanted to throw up after hearing all she heard.

"Perhaps I said too much too quickly... I'll give you time to think about it alone. Come to me if you ever want clarification. Until then, I'll give you the zenith class title. After all, it's only fair. The emoburst was only something I added on. It was never an original part of the trial.

Alice returned to the campus. There, Yoshi, Pinoy, Sybil, Coffee, and Maroon were all waiting for her. Yoshi Pinoy ran up to her, asking how her mission went, but she wouldn't respond. She ignored the two and headed to her room. Yoshi noticed the destroyed look on her face, concerning him.

Maroon walked behind Yoshi. "You should go check on her."

"Maroon, what happened?"

"After her mission, I told her something, and she's having trouble processing it. She could use your help. Even just being there for her."

Yoshi followed Alice too their room. When he walked up to the door, he felt a wave of decay and despair hit him, making him flinch. He looked for the field outside their door and saw the grass was dying and the trees were withering. When hewalked into the room, he saw Alice's death mist was radiating from her body.

"Alice, Honey... are you ok?"

"Leave me alone, Yoshi."

This was unlike Alice. She never pushed him away and she never willingly let her powers get out of control. All Yoshi could think about was what could have possibly told Alice to make her act like this. He just stood there in the corner, watching her.

Eventually, she turned over to face him. "What are you doing, Yoshi?"

"I'm just... here is you need to talk."

"Leave."

"Leave!"

Another death wave shot out of Alice's body, knocking Yoshi back. She began to foam at the mouth as her eyes started flashing red. Yosh did as Alice said and left. As he closed the door, he looked back at her. "Hypocrite."

Alice's eyes widened. She looked over to the door, but Yoshi was already gone. She fell back on the bed in defeat, crying into her pillow.

Yoshi went out to the school gym. There, Kierse was holding a manga Alice gave to him. "Hey, Yoshi, is Alice ok? I need to thank her. She gave me this manga filled with hot monsters, so I wanted to personally thank her."

"She... seems to be doing poorly."

"Oh. Something bad must have happened on the mission."

"Maybe. I won't know till she tells me."

"She will eventually."

"You think so?"

"I know so. You're a good guy Yoshi, and Alice trusts you more than anyone else in the world. If she won't tell you, she won't tell anyone. And I don't think Alice is that kind of person."

"No problem."

"Hey, Kierse, what will you do when you heal Sybil and the others?"

"I... never thought about that. I guess... I'll keep being a keeper. I know I'm still only aether class, but I'll just have to get stronger and stronger. Once I fix Coffee, Sybil, and Sylvie, I'll just keep doing what I've always been good at."
