Jackal : The Goddess Of Death

Belle stood there, borderline lifeless. All Alice could do was watch as Star approached Belle. Yoshi was incapacitated and Pinoy was unconscious. Alice tried to get up and run to her, but with a simple flick of Star's hand, threads came out and slashed both of her anterior cruciate ligaments and both her kneecaps, making her fall back down. She was now in too much pain to even process what was happening.

"Well, love, did you enjoy the few months of freedom I allowed you?" He said while looking into Belle's eyes. Belle was in too much pain to respond. "I could have tracked and killed you whenever, but I wanted you to get close to Alice, that way when I kill you, it could hurt her more. Oh, yeah! I think it's time I told you the truth. Seiko wasn't actually killed by Alice."

Belle, who was previously standing up motionless, slowly looked up at Star with a painful expression. "W-What did you say?"

"I killed her."

"..."

"It's kind of a funny story, actually. I burned down her orphanage and made some of my followers adopt her, who went on to become billionaires. Then, I killed Seiko because of my followers' defiance." Star turned around to Alice. "You hear that Alice, your entire reason for being a keeper was me. You better get on the ground and start worshipping and thanking me."

"You monster..." Belle said from behind him. Alice didn't know what to think. Her mind was broken already and now it had another bombshell to unpack.

"I know right." Star said with his unbreakable smile. "I'm just a silly little guy. I could just murder you and reunite you with that hore, but I'll give you a chance. I'll allow you to land one more attack on me. You get one punch."

Belle stood there for a second. She turned into her minotaur form and loaded back on her punch. Then, her fist came forward. In that moment, her power skyrocketed. When Belle's fist connected, it caved in Star's face and made his erupt blood from his nose and mouth. He also went tumbling back. Even with that much damage, and the first amount of damage they made all fight, Star got back up like all the blood he lost was nothing.

"Wow, an emoburst. Impressive." Star said while wiping the blood from his face.

Emoburst are brief explosions of power one can obtain when their desires and emotions get out of control. For most, it gives them a few seconds of zenith class-level strength. It's mostly random and can only happen when a desire completely consumes the user. In this case, that all-consuming desire for Belle was killing Star.

"Tell me, Belle. Why did you become a keeper?" asked Star.

"..."

"Alright, fine. Hold your tongue then."

Star lifted his hand up and sent multiple threads at Belle. No one could help her. All Alice could do was watch in horror as the threads rushed towards Belle.

Belle knew she was dead. There was no one to save her now. She looked over at Alice and gave her a smile.

"Hey, Alice, thank you for your friendship."

In the next moment, Belle's top half was ripped apart by the threads, turning her into little pieces of flesh and bone. All that remained was her legs, which collapsed to the ground as well.

Alice's eyes looked as if the soul was taken out of her. All she could do was lay there and take in the horrific image of her friend's dead body. Star began to walk over to Pinoy. "I might as well kill all your friends one by one while I'm here."

Alice tried her hardest to get up, but her body wouldn't move. It was completely exhausted and her legs were useless. She could only watch in terror as Star grabbed Pinoy by the throat and began to choke him back to consciousness. Star was about to use his other hand to cleave off Pinoy's arms, but suddenly, Star's arm was slashed off and Pinoy was grabbed out of his hand. This all happened while he blinked. When he reopened his eyes, his arm was gone and Yoshi stood in front of him with Pinoy in his arms.

He laid Pinoy behind him to keep him away from Star. Pinoy instantly noticed Yoshi had changed. His eyes began even sharper and even more vibrant. And the katana he carried completely changed. It was still katana-like, but it now had blue and gold accents around it.

Star smiled and injected a phoenix's vitals into himself, healing his arm.

"Oh, look who finally got up. Unfortunately, you never got to have that ice cream with Belle."

Yoshi looked back at Star and he immediately noticed something different about the boy standing in front of him now. He went from low aether class to high zenith class in milliseconds. Star was confused at first, but then he understood. A smile formed on his face again.

"Ah, I see now. Alright then..."

Star took off the top part of his kimono, allowing his back spider legs to move around more freely. He looked at his other restrictions band, debating whether he wanted to take it off or not. But in the end, he decided to leave it on.

Another smile then grew on his face. "Look at these sexy abs and biceps. I'll give you the honor and pleasure of dying by my hands."
