Jackal : The Goddess Of Death

Alice was watching anime while she had her headphones on in the school courtyard. Belle came from behind her and ripped the headphones off her head.

"Hey!"

"Let me listen."

Belle turned off Alice's headphones and turned the audio on full blasts. She looked over to her laptop and saw an anime where a boy was petting a dog girl who was moaning. What Belle heard next shocked her.

["C'mon, master! Gimme headpats! I've been a good girl today, right? Right?! Just ruffle my hair! Scratch my ears!~ I love you so much, it almost makes me feral again! It's so hard not to just pounce on you, b-but I want pats!! You won't do anything like that? A-Aah, gimme tummy rubs too, master! Good girls get their boobs squeezed, right? What about their butts? Belle's face dropped as she was so stunned, she didn't know what to say. Behind her stood Yoshi, who heard everything that came out of the laptop he got her. Alice's face twitched in embarrassment.

"Woah, Alice, I didn't know you were such a baaad girl. Don't tell me you want Yoshi to do all that to you. You want him to take your head pat virginity, don't you? Naughty dev-"

With one swift roundhouse kick to the head, Alice knocked Belle out cold. Her face was flushed with a shade of red as she turned away from Yoshi.

"A-Alice... d-do you-"

"No!... P-Please just pretend you heard none of that..."

"C-Could I pet you?"

"HUH?!"

"W-Well, I wanted to for a while now, and... you... y-you just... uh, never mind."

"W-Well, I wouldn't mind if your... hand just so happened to slip... and land on my head."

Yoshi sat down on the bench where she previously sat. He patted his head, mustering for her to rest her head on his lap. She did without hesitation. Yoshi immediately brought his hand behind her head, scratching her behind the ears. Her tail began to wag rapidly and her ears twitched in excitement.

"Ahhh... that feels so good?"

"Y-Yeah..."

While Alice seemed contemptuous and a bit too excited, Yoshi seemed to be deeply concentrating. It was almost like he was trying to suppress something.

Alice curled up on the bench and nuzzled deeper into Yoshi's lap. Yoshi's face fell into horror, and Meer seconds later, Alice felt something poke her cheek. It was something hard pressing against her face that was coming from Yoshi's lap.

"Y-Yoshi... w-what is touching my face right now?"

"Uhhh... my phone."

"So, if I was to grab it, I would feel a phone?"

"Maybe... maybe not... m-maybe we should stop."

"But why? Do you not like patting my head?"

"N-No... it's the opposite problem."

"W-Well... I could just move further down your lap so... you know... please."

"Ok, ok..."

The next day, Alice and Pinoy were training in the track field with Yoshi, Belle, and Taiyo watching. Alice was once again thrown back by the shockwaves from Pinoy's chakrams.

He threw them at her, nearly taking her head off, but she managed to roll out the way. She growled at him. He threw his other chakram and Alice bit down on it, piercing through the steel with her razor-sharp teeth. She ran back in and pulled out her scepter. Pinoy entered his beetle keeper form. He was able to block with his carapace, but the spiked ball at the end of Alice's scepter sent him rocketing back. Before he could get up, Alice put her scepter to his neck and he forfeited.

Both Yoshi and Belle came over to congratulate her.

"You did wonderful, honey." exclaimed Yoshi.

"Thanks, sweetie." Alice said with a smile on her face. "I always do my best."

"Yeah, you did great!" said Belle.

"... Thanks, I guess."

"Hey, how come Yoshi gets special treatment and I don't?!"

Alice smiled at Belle. She couldn't help it. Over the last few months, she and Belle have gone from enemies to friends rather quickly. It's funny to see how she is now compared to her past. Alice playfully slapped her on the back.

Meanwhile, Pinoy was still lying on the ground. He just laid there, once again staring at his phone. Alice couldn't help but notice him and wonder what he was looking at.

Taiyo walked up to the 4 of them, stepping over Pinoy. "Yoshi, Belle, there's an investigation I want you two to deal with."

"Why the two of us?" Yoshi asked.

"Because you both are perfect for this mission. Plus, there's something important for both of you on this mission. Ok, so here's the just. There is a transportation crystos from a Derozues vessel that will occur next Tuesday."

"That's in 5 days." said Belle. "Why don't you just handle it?"

"Because there's a teleporting paradox class anomaly running around in Tokyo and no one can find it. The higher-ups want me to take care of it because no one else can catch it."

The two sighed. "Fine." they said together.
