Izumi Miyamura: Xover

Chapter 134

Author's Notes: Chapter edited and corrected by Scott Fellman.

Jinx Pov.

"So, since you like her so much, Jinx, tell us about yourself. Izumi, it seems like you speak English perfectly. Do you speak another language?" Mom asked as she looked at Izumi. My eyes widened slightly.

"Oh, I hadn't realized," I said, surprised. It should be obvious. Vi doesn't speak Japanese at all. Caitlyn speaks a little, but nowhere near as fluently. It was the reason she'd been sent to I-Island. The most spoken languages here were Japanese, given its proximity to Japan, and English, due to its international status. Izumi snorted in amusement.

"-10 points." Izumi said in my direction playfully, and I groaned deeply while Izumi laughed. "And I can speak Japanese, English, and Korean fluently; I'm also learning Chinese from one of my fiancées." Izumi said easily.

"Wait, Korean? Why Korean? " I asked, confused. Izumi grimaced slightly.

"I thought I'd need it in the future," Izumi said vaguely. I glanced at him before shrugging. "That aside, what else did you want to know?" Izumi asked casually.

"Mmm, I read that your mom owns a bakery, is that true?" Mom asked, and I looked at her, confused. Like... my eyes widened.

"You investigated my boyfriend?!" I hissed gravely.

"You did what!?" Vi asked louder. Caitlyn frowned.

"Of course I did," Mom said, not sounding the least bit sorry. I gritted my teeth.

"Did you... Investigate me?" Izumi asked, surprised. Mom just nodded. "How... professionally? Did you hire anyone?" Izumi asked quickly, almost sounding... excited?

"Yes, I did. It was a shame I only found out yesterday from Caitlyn, so the report is rudimentary at best," Mom said easily. I could feel my eye twitch as I glared at her, but she simply ignored me. The nerve.

"Thank you!" Izumi chirped. My head whipped around, and I could hear it creaking. I stared in disbelief at Izumi, who had a huge, wide grin on his face as he bounced excitedly in his seat.

I wasn't the only one. Both Vi and Caitlyn reacted exactly the same as I did and looked at him in disbelief. Mom also seemed surprised. She didn't respond as visibly, but her eyes widened slightly in confusion, as if she hadn't expected that reaction.

"Excuse me?" Mom tried to say, confused.

"Thank you!" Izumi repeated with the same joy. "I always wanted to be professionally investigated!" he added cheerfully. The four of us stared at him in disbelief.

"You know they're trying to find out whatever secrets you're hiding and everything, right? " I asked slowly. Izumi looked at me and rolled his eyes in amusement.

"Of course I know. They're even capable of going through my trash," Izumi said easily. "I mean, have you ever had that urge to hire a private investigator to look into your life and see what they could find? Well! I haven't had the chance because Mom said it was a foolish way to spend money and forbade me. So this is good!"

"Can I see the report the investigators wrote?" Izumi asked excitedly as he looked at Mom. Mom still looked terribly confused, so she simply nodded and took out her phone. She quickly flipped through it and opened a document before passing it to him.

Izumi excitedly grabbed it. I leaned over his shoulder and started reading the same file.

"Let's see... oh yeah... interesting," Izumi said with a wide smile as he continued to read quickly. "It's an excellent report! It has most of my public records, even the medical ones! You said you only had one day? Half a day? That's really impressive," Izumi praised.

"Money smooths over a lot of things," Mom said simply. Izumi simply nodded.

"And it opens many doors." Izumi agreed with Mom.

"Wait, I know you like music and all, but did you have singing lessons?" I asked, surprised, as I looked at the report. I also noticed there was nothing about his quirk that involved shadows. That's interesting. I could ask Izumi about that later.

"Yeah, for a few years," Izumi said easily. "I mean, I always knew I liked music and that I was good with a sword. I didn't see any reason to limit myself to just one. If my plan to be a hero and a hunter failed, well, I could become a singer or something," Izumi said.

"A backup plan? That's very thoughtful," Caitlyn praised with a smile.

"What kind of music do you like? Please tell me you don't like the same music Caitlyn calls music." Vi pleaded. Caitlyn punched her shoulder in slight annoyance. I snorted. Izumi laughed as he handed Mom's phone back.

"I'd say all of them. I don't see any reason to limit myself to one genre, but if I have to choose one, I like musicals," Izumi said with a smile.

"Oh? I'm interested too. Have you seen any live recently? " Caitlyn asked, curious.

"Oh yeah, the last one I saw was Hadestown with one of my fiancées. It's a shame UA keeps us so busy." Izumi complained. Caitlyn's eyes glittered slightly. I groaned loudly.

"It's enough that I have to suffer through that on movie nights; let's change the subject." I groaned in pain. Izumi laughed amusedly.

"Well, well, well, what else do you want to talk about?" Izumi asked affably.

"So, how's Powder doing at college?" Vi asked curiously, and I moaned even louder.

"Of all the topics, that one?" I asked dryly. Vi crossed her arms.

"I'm your sister, I have the right to know how you're doing in your classes," Vi said stubbornly, and I groaned in frustration.

"Well, I'm doing well, I'm passing all my classes. Are you happy?" I asked dryly.

"Haven't you gotten into any trouble?" Vi asked, frowning. I snorted.

"None," I said dryly.

"None? You haven't painted any graffiti or blown anything up?" Vi asked incredulously.

"Wow, that's a bit lacking in confidence, sister," I said dryly. "But no, none of them. The sparring matches happen pretty often, so I have enough fun. And I have room for my graffiti, so that's okay too."

"Space?" Caitlyn asked, confused.

"Yes, there is a city that is a training area, the teachers let me draw on the walls there," I said simply.

"Really?" Vi asked incredulously.

"Oh yeah, I heard the director say it was a good way to give the fake city more realism," Izumi added playfully. I looked at him, slightly surprised. I didn't know someone knew about that.

"A city as a training area? UA really deserves its reputation," Caitlyn said, impressed.

"We have like six of those training areas," I said with a shrug. Really, UA was impressive, even I couldn't deny it.

"Very impressive. You've talked about some classes. How was the training? Do you need any spare parts for your weapons? Upgrades?" Mom asked calmly, joining the conversation. I snorted.

"No need." I dismissed. "I reforged the weapons into a pair of swords," I said simply. Mom, Vi, and Caitlyn stopped stiffly and stared at me as if I'd suddenly grown a second head. "What?" I asked defensively.

"You? Trade your weapons for swords? Who are you, and what did you do with my sister? Are you okay? Are you sick?" Vi asked, almost horrified. She gritted her teeth tightly.

"Yes, I'm fine," I said slowly. "Firearms don't perform in the dungeons. Logistical problems with the ammunition, I had to change them," I said simply. The three of them still looked at me strangely.

"I mean, she calls them swords, but they have a built-in chainsaw, they work like rocket swords, and they shoot too." Izumi mocked, which made the three of them blink and sigh in relief at the same time.

"I'm going to kill them," I hissed dryly. Vi raised her hands in surrender.

"Hey! You're obsessed with your weapons; it's a cause for concern that you're changing them," Vi said defensively.

"You're right, dear," Mom said, agreeing with Vi. I rolled my eyes.

"Yes, I changed weapons, yes, now I use bastardized swords that can barely be called swords. And yes, Izumi is teaching me how to use them. In fact, that's how we became closer." I said simply and lied slightly.

"Mmm, I saw your performance during the UA sports festival, really impressive." Mom said simply.

"Thank you!" Izumi said with a smile.

"Right, the sports festival!" Vi said with a proud smile. "Congratulations on making it to the final rounds, Powder!" Vi said.

"I lost to Midoriya in the first round," I said dryly. Vi shrugged, still smiling.

"Still, you made it to the final rounds! That's impressive! " Vi said with a goofy grin.

"You're right, Jinx, there must have been at least 300 participants, making it to the last event is impressive," Caitlyn said with a smile.

"I've congratulated you before, but well done, my daughter," Mom said simply. I just looked away, slightly blushing. Izumi laughed lightly at me.

"Let's change the subject," I said once more. Luckily for me, they agreed, or not so luckily, since Vi began to steer the conversation. Once again, I went on about her endless stories as the sheriff of Piltover. I almost wanted to sigh as I disconnected.

Izumi seemed really curious about it despite lightly poking and prodding Vi, so I let them continue talking.

Finally, after waiting another ten minutes, the food arrived. The piles of meat quickly piled up on our table, and we were ready to start eating.

"Oh, right," Izumi said, pulling out his Scroll. I could see him open an app with several controllers. They were adjusting the intensity of something.

"What is it?" I asked curiously. Izumi smiled at me sadistically.

"Vibrators." Izumi said shamelessly, Vi spit out her drink, Caitlyn choked on her food, and Mom stopped momentarily.

"Vibrators?" I asked, my eyebrows raising slightly and my gaze shifting to his hips. "You don't have any on, do you? " I asked, genuinely curious and a little excited.

"Jinx!" "Powder!" Caitlyn and Vi exclaimed, almost horrified. Izumi laughed in amusement.

"No, no, no." Izumi said quickly with a laugh, the pair breathing a sigh of relief. "They're in my other fiancées," Izumi said with a sadistic smile. The trio froze again. I grinned widely.

"Oh? Fiancees, like all of them? I thought it would be something Darkness would enjoy, not the others." I purred lightly. Izumi laughed huskily.

"Oh, definitely, that's why she has two," Izumi said, winking at me. I bit my lip slightly. "But no, I'm taking it out on them, so their punishment is using vibrators all day," Izumi said jovially.

"Wait, didn't you say you had plans with the others?" I asked curiously.

"Well, I hope you know not to scream, then, right? " Izumi asked with a wide smile. I burst out laughing.

"That's amazing, I want to see their faces at that moment!" I said happily before stopping. "Wait, Azula, when she's leaving you, she-" I stopped halfway, looking at him expectantly. Izumi nodded widely. "Ha! You're amazing! " Izumi just laughed lightly.

I could only imagine their reactions. What a shame.

-----------------

Darkness Pov.

"Mmmh!" I moaned loudly as I stopped when I felt the vibrators finally turn on. I'd been waiting for this exact moment, not knowing when the torture would begin. Izumi hadn't even held back; he turned them up to maximum without hesitation.

"Darkness? Is everything okay? " Itsuka asked as she looked at me worriedly. I breathed heavily.

"Y-yes! Everything's okay! " I squealed, trying to stifle my moans. I could feel my cheeks blushing deeply. "P-please, let's continue!" I said awkwardly.

I loved this!

----------

Azula Pov.

I'm going to kill him, I'm going to kill him, I'm going to kill him, I'm going to kill him, I'm going to kill him.

I bit my lip hard as I tried to stay upright without my legs shaking.

"Do you want to go get something to eat?" Yunyun asked cheerfully. She seemed to be enjoying spending the day with a friend. My expression softened. She reminded me of Ty Lee all those years ago. Good years.

My expression froze once more as I felt the vibrations in my crotch. I gritted my teeth.

"Yeah... I could use something cold. I think I saw an ice cream shop around here, if you don't mind." I said slowly, gritting my teeth and trying to keep my voice from trembling.

"That sounds perfect!" Yunyun said while smiling brightly. I sighed and started walking slowly.

I'm going to kill him.

---------------

Ruby Pov.

"Hiyee!" I moaned in surprise, standing up before my legs could even shake completely.

"Hey, Miss Rose? Is everything okay? " Viktor asked, confused.

"Are you sick?" Penny asked worriedly.

"Y-yes, everything's fine! Just a cramp! Please continue explaining the plans! I'm listening!" I said shakily while blushing even more. Viktor and Penny looked at me worriedly, but the first one nodded slowly before continuing.

I tried to pay as much attention as I could, but it was getting harder and harder.

Shit, shit, shit! Damn you, Izumi!

-------------

Taylor Pov.

"mmh." I couldn't help but moan slowly as my knee buckled slightly as I walked awkwardly.

"Taylor? Did something happen? " Jiro asked, I could see her ear twitch slightly at the noise I made, which made the other girls in the group turn around, Momo, Sona, Sinon, and Asuna.

I could feel my cheeks heat up slightly, and I quickly pushed everything into my bugs. I could still feel the pleasure of the vibrations, but it was a little more muted, more manageable.

"Yeah... everything's fine. Something caught my attention with my bugs. It's over now. Sorry about that," I said with an apologetic smile. The other girls nodded before turning around and continuing to walk and talk happily.

Jiro just stared at me intently as her ears twitched before her gaze shifted to my… crotch, if my emotions weren't pushed to my bugs, I could feel myself blushing or turning deeply pale, maybe both.

Jiro smiled widely when she realized exactly what was going on and what the noise she'd been hearing was. She didn't say a word, just smirked at me lasciviously and gave me a thumbs-up. I glared at her, which didn't seem to be very effective. I briefly considered throwing some bugs at her before giving up.

Damn Izumi.

I sighed once and started walking slowly.

"Miss Hebert?" I almost wanted to snarl at the interruption, but I turned around, and my eyes widened slightly.

"Armsmistress?" I asked in surprise.

-----------------

Jinx Pov.

"Uh… Miyamura, you left them on maximum." Caitlyn said shyly, pointing at the scroll that Izumi put aside as he prepared to eat.

"I know. And they're going to be like that for a couple of hours. Like I said, I want to get even with them. A lot." Izumi said sadistically.

"I'm really starting to think I missed something last night." I said mockingly, Izumi just laughed and winked at me.

"Maybe you'll find out later," Izumi said before starting to touch the food and using his quirk. My eyes lit up with excitement.

"Uh... what's going on?" Vi asked, confused. The trio seemed determined to ignore the scroll with the vibrator controls. I really had to give them credit. I laughed lightly before answering.

"Izumi's quirk is called food enrichment; it makes food more delicious," I said quickly, my mouth watering. It wasn't something I got to try often; Izumi and a few others cooked for the whole class only a few times, about once every week or two, due to everyone's busy schedules.

So it was always an absolute pleasure to wait for the magical and illegally delicious food.

"Oh? A food quirk? Not a combat quirk?" Caitlyn asked curiously. Izumi laughed lightly.

"I'm only that good with my sword," Izumi said arrogantly, and he had every right to be.

"Just try it, it will change your life," I said without hesitation before starting to devour the meat in front of me when Izumi finished. The three women in front of us shrugged and began to eat their dishes.

When the first bite entered their mouths, they moaned simultaneously, including Mom, who was usually almost unfazed. My smile widened. Ah… three more victims who fall prey to Izumi's Quirk. It was genuinely terrifying.

"Oh goddess, this is the most delicious thing I've ever tasted." Vi moaned. "Powder, if you don't marry Izumi, I won't forgive you." Vi said, and I almost choked on my food.

"I saw!" I hissed, blushing slightly. Izumi just laughed.

"You'd be the fourth person who wants to marry me just for my food." Izumi mocked, and I stopped before shaking my head. Yes, I knew many people who would get married simply to eat this every day.

"This is truly amazing. I understand your mom has a similar version, but only for desserts, right? It makes sense that her bakeries are so famous," Mom said, smiling slightly as she ate.

"Thanks, I'm glad you like it," Izumi said, amusedly.

"That's amazing," Caitlyn agreed. I sighed tiredly.

For the rest of lunch, we barely spoke; the food was more important, then we ordered desserts, to Izumi's delight, he had a good selection of chocolate desserts, damn addict.

After leaving the restaurant, we began walking around the exhibition, taking in the booths set up. The atmosphere was filled with light chatter.

At one point, Caitlyn took Izumi by the arm and led him away. Mom quickly followed them. I blinked in confusion and was about to follow to prevent Izumi from getting lost, but Vi lightly tapped my shoulder.

"Can we talk?" Vi asked awkwardly, and I moaned loudly.

"Do we have to do it now? We had a good day, let's leave it at that, the end." I said simply before taking a step towards Izumi.

"pow- Jinx… please." Vi said, almost pleading, I sighed tiredly.

"You say something stupid and I'm gone." I said simply, Vi nodded before nervously running her hand through her hair.

"I'm... sorry," Vi said tiredly. "I don't want us to fight anymore. I'm sorry, I'm really sorry." Vi said, and I blinked in her direction.

"...wow... I honestly didn't think you'd ever say that," I said, terribly honest. Vi's shoulders slumped.

"I don't like Silvia. I never will, and I'll keep trying to stop her," Vi said, completely honest. "But she's still your mother, and you still want her in your life, but... It's your life. I shouldn't have interfered like that, especially not behind your back, and certainly not with Ekko," Vi said patiently. I grimaced.

"Yeah, you shouldn't have," I said mercilessly. Vi grimaced.

"I'm sorry," Vi repeated, and we both fell silent. I sighed tiredly.

"Fine." I said simply. Vi's eyes opened wide.

"Okay?" Vi asked hopefully. I snorted.

"Don't get too excited. I'm still mad at you, but yes... I forgive you, or at least I will. Don't worry... sister." I said as I looked away. I could see Vi smile widely before hugging me tightly. "Let me go for the love of-!" I growled as I tried to break free.

"Thank you," Vi said as she let go of me. I sighed.

"Yes, yes, yes, now I'm going to find Izumi before he gets lost." I said simply, slightly embarrassed.

"Is this disorientation really real?" Vi asked, following behind me. I snorted.

"Yes, it is." I said simply. "You know, I almost thought you'd invite Ekko to this circus," I said simply. Vi smiled shyly at me.

"For the love of- you're an idiot." I snorted.

"Hey! I didn't do it in the end! Well, Caitlyn told me it was a bad idea, so I didn't! I just want us to get along," Vi pouted. I snorted. At least Caitlyn can keep control of Vi, which was good to know.

"That bridge already burned, and I blew it up. You're my sister, Ekko was my boyfriend, it's very different, just... leave it at that." I said with a sigh. I saw a sigh, but she nodded. I sighed tiredly.

It was a step forward.

Author's Notes: Well, this turned out to be a lot longer than I expected! The idea was to finish it in one or two chapters, but the dialogue just flowed, and this is what it was. So, well, here we are! A couple more chapters before finishing the interlude and moving on to the next arc.
