It's All About Her

Smoke's POV

She's hot when she's scared, she's hot when she's fighting back, she's hot doing anything.

My hand is still wrapped around her throat and she's still struggling to get free.

"Let's make a deal Iris". Her name sounds so nice to say.

"You give me a kiss, I let go of you. Deal?"

"Over my dead body. I'd rather die than kiss a maniac like you". Ouch that hurts, well not really. I like her.

We keep eye contact. She's struggling to keep it but she's trying to be tough. That's my girl. But we were interrupted by a knock on the door.

"Oh pizza's here". Before letting her go, i say to her "do anything suspicious and the pizza guy dies". I saw the fear in her eyes. She knows I'm dead serious.

I met her go and answered the door. Took my seven boxes of pizza, tipped the delivery guy then closed the door.

"Sure he can kill someone but still tips the pizza guy" I heard her murmur and I smile.

"Hungry?"

"No thank you, what I want is you to please leave me alone".

"I can't do that love. Trust me I tried. Now let's eat".

"Can I ask you something?" she asks and I nod out of curiosity.

"How did you find me? And what are you?" Oh yes that

"Those are two questions love. I found you because a part of me is already on you. And to answer your second question, I'm a freak I guess. I have no idea. I can turn to smoke. See?" And I demonstrate with my hand.

She seems mesmerised and creeper out at the same time. My hand returns to normal

"Anything else?"

"Yes. Why do you keep pursuing me? I've not told anyone about the killing".

"I don't really care about thar. I just want you. Now my turn to ask questions, come sit and eat". Well she did sit but far away from me. And she didn't take a slice. Stubborn.

"If I promise to protect you always and never harm you, will you be open to spending the rest of your life with me?" I look at her dead in the eyes.

"Hell no". Short but fair answer.

"Okay, what's your favourite colour then?" I say taking a bite out of my pizza.

No reply. "Okay then"

It's getting late so I'll finish these later. I'll be in the bedroom, don't come to bed too late". I wave at her walking in. Leaving a fully pizza box behind. I know she's hungry.

I'm in the room now and I take off my shirt and laid on the bed. I wonder if she'll come. Probably not. I'll just keep myself busy with her journal then.

Ding.

I get a message. Oh great, another mission. I'll handle that tomorrow. Iris has my undivided attention tonight.

An hour pass. I better go check up on her.

And there I see her sleeping on the floor, the pizza box empty. Stubborn girl.

I gently carry her to the bed, careful not to wake her. And settled down beside her. She didnt move.

Wow she must really be tired. Guess I'll go to bed too

I give her a peck on the check and spooned her. This sleep is going to be the best.

I wake up in the middle of the night to something moving. Having a lot of enemies, I need to be alert. I look down and realise it's just Iris stirring. She turned so now she is facing my chest. I can feel her soft breaths on my skin. She snuggles in closer.

I freeze. I know I want this but it's still a first for me. To cuddle with someone

I love it. How did I sleep well without this?
