It turns out that my Yandere playmate online is my Homeroom Teacher

Chapter 14: Rich aunties are the best!!

The worst situation in my life finally happened.

And it's me being associated with my aunt.

"Marika nee-san, aren't you busy? Are you really sure it's okay for you to attend my parent orientation?" I asked while she casually wiped her mouth.

"It's fine, really. We don't have any schedules next week," she said with a shrug.

"But… how do you plan to hide your identity?"

Or maybe she's not even planning to hide it.

"Don't worry, Haru. I won't drag you into my idol world. Besides, I'm still using Mom's maiden name as my last name, remember?"

Great. That's one problem down. But the real issue is her meeting Shiori-san.

"No buts, you brat. Let's go to my apartment."

"Huh? Why your apartment?"

"Oh, please. Don't make it sound like I'm some kind of predator," she said, rolling her eyes.

"I need to pack a week's worth of clothes. I'll be staying at your place for a while."

Wait. What?

This is serious. If she's staying at our house, Shiori-san can't visit for an entire week.

After Marika paid for the ramen, we headed toward her apartment.

"Marika nee-san, is your apartment far from here?"

"No, not really. By the way, aren't you cold, Haru?"

I am cold. It's almost winter, but—

"I'm not wearing that stalker jacket of yours, so no thanks."

"Oh? Is this your way of hinting that you want me to buy you a jacket?"

A lucky break! I can't waste this chance.

"Yes, Marika nee-chan! Please buy me a jacket!" I said, putting on my best puppy-dog eyes.

She fidgeted, trying to play it cool, but I knew I had her.

"Well… if Haru says so, I guess we can drop by the mall…"

Got her.

Mom's POV

Ara, Shiori-san looks upset. She's been staring at her phone since dinner ended.

She must really want to see Haru. It's already 7:30 PM. He should be on his way back by now.

Suddenly, my phone buzzed. A message from Mari-chan.

"Miyako nee-san, I'll be coming home late with Haru. We're stopping by my apartment to grab some stuff."

I glanced at Shiori, who seemed worried.

"Shiori, it looks like Haru won't be home early tonight."

"Eh? Why? Did something happen?" she asked, almost panicking.

"No, no. He's with his aunt. He's fine."

"His aunt? You mean Marika?"

"You know Marika?"

"No! I mean, no, Mom!"

Oh, she's lying. She's blushing and fidgeting.

Could it be…

She's a fan of my little sister?!

(A/N: It's actually the other way around.)

Haru's POV

When we arrived at the mall, Marika beamed at me.

"Haru-chan, pick whatever you like! Your lovely nee-chan will pay for it~"

She called me Haru-chan again, but whatever.

If she says "pick anything," then I'm going all out.

I walked around the store with Marika, checking out jackets.

"Haru-chan, how about this one?" she asked, holding up a black jacket.

It had her face on it.

It was idol merch.

"Uh… it's really nice, Marika nee-chan. But it's too good. I don't think I can wear something this cool," I lied.

There's no way I'm wearing a jacket with my aunt's face on it.

I picked a plain gray jacket instead. Simple and stylish.

"This one's good, Marika nee-chan."

"Eh? Are you sure? It's too cheap!"

It's 10,000 yen. That's not cheap.

"It's fine because… Marika nee-chan bought it for me!" I said with a grin.

She looked like she might faint from happiness.

"Pick more, Haru-chan! Anything you want!"

Perfect. Time to put Mom's advice to work: If someone offers you something, accept it with love.

I grabbed a few more things:

A new keyboard and mouse

Shoes

Headphones

A scarf and sweater for winter

Snacks

SFO merch (obviously)

"Marika nee-chan, can I recharge in SFO too?"

"Of course, here's my credit card!"

This woman's a goldmine.

After paying for everything (100,000 yen in total!), we left the mall.

"Shall we head to your apartment now, Marika nee-chan?"

"Nope. Let's head to your house. You look tired."

No! Shiori-san might still be there!

"Eh? But I'm not tired at all. Let's just stop by your place first!"

Too late. She grabbed my arm and started walking.

After some back-and-forth, we finally made it back to the house.

The living room lights were still on when we stepped in. Mom was sitting on the couch, scrolling through her phone.

"Welcome back," she greeted us, putting her phone down.

Marika grinned and waved. "We're home, Miyako nee-san!"

"Welcome back, Mari-chan. Haru, did you buy the entire mall?" Mom asked, glancing at the pile of shopping bags I was carrying.

Marika proudly puffed out her chest. "Of course! I told Haru to pick anything he wanted."

I sighed. "Mom, I think we need more storage space now."

Mom chuckled and shook her head.

"Oh, by the way," Mom said, looking over at Marika, "Shiori-san left a little earlier. She said she had some work to finish."

I felt a wave of relief. Crisis averted.

Marika, on the other hand, looked confused. "Haru, who's Shiori-san?"

"No one important!" I blurted out, quickly heading toward the stairs with my bags.

"Really? Then why do you look like a tomato right now?" Marika teased, following me.

Mom laughed behind us as I groaned.

This week was going to be a nightmare.
