Isekai: The Eight Soul Fragments

Liam's arm instantly regenerated and grabbed Wesley, who was unable to react as he was thrown straight to Cephei who failed to catch him. Both of them were knocked away. Gayle rushed in with Lilianna and Julianna behind her. Canis and Scuti were knocked away as the other sword in Liam's hands started emanating energy. They were blown away by intense wind as Gayle, Lilianna, and Julianna's advanced were slowed down. 

A dragon was summoned behind Liam which surprised him as it blasted a fire breath. "[Stormy Tornado]!" "One more volley!" Audrey shouted instructions as she prepared a full barrage of metallic spikes to be launched towards Liam. Mitch, Gilbert, and Justine switched their weapons from sniping, to firing more bullets instead. Pauleen moved in between the three to use the [Magicannon] to create a tailwind for the bullets to move faster. As the wind pressure finally disappeared, the five of them fired their attacks. Liam was able to block most of the bullets and spikes but he started to receive some grazes and cuts from the attacks as he only used one sword. As they start to reload, Liam tried to reach for the other sword. Gayle rushed forward and activated [Mysteria] to try and drain Liam's stamina. The energy sword glowed which showed her that her method to weaken him was not at all effective.

Layla used her ability to control animals and summoned another dragon as Liam picked up the sword. With powerful dragons active, she was starting to stagger as Keith followed up and closed his distance to Liam and attack with the cover of the two Dragons. The chain ball was deflected back to him despite being burned by two great dragons that Layla had summoned.

After a few moments, Liam unleashed a powerful shockwave. Everyone felt a powerful pulse that disturbs their magic. Layla's dragons disappeared, Audrey's next volley were dispersed. The back line was knocked back into the wall. The rest flinched for a moment. Lilianna and Julianna were the current closest to him, they rushed in as Liam started to channel and the skies started to darken again. They sliced off both of Liam's arms in sync to stop him from quickly channeling the change of weather and collection of energy. His arms instantly regenerated and Viceroy, who didn't flinch in that shockwave rushed in and kicked Liam straight in the chin as he tried to reach out to the two swords, knocking him away.

Liam stopped moving for a few moments as the Sentinels tried to regroup after the chaotic coordination that they had to do. Juniper carried Pauleen towards Liam as he wasn't moving. Pauleen moved her hand behind him to seal his abilities but when she got close, her hand was grabbed by Liam. "Nn-!" Pauleen tried to pull herself back and Juniper swung her rapier to stab Liam's shoulder, but she was deflected to hit the wall. "Whoa there, I give. I give." They were surprised when Liam spoke after brushing them away, he raised his hands in surrender.

All of them started to gather as Liam started speaking more. "Seems like the people here can stop a soul from rampaging. I'm quite jealous of his subordinates..." Keith stood in front of every and started asking him question. "What did you do to Draxus?" "Oh? Don't worry, he's in a bit of timeout. I'll return this body to him in a bit. So while we're waiting, I'm sure you all have some questions about me... Or maybe some questions about the eight souls right?" All of the Sentinels were shocked, as the current soul on them sounded reasonable.

"First of all, sorry for doing that to all of you. I wanted to see if you all could be able to stop the other potential soul possessions after all." Audrey now stood beside Keith, who was more interested in what was the deal. "Was it all just a test?" Liam nodded, affirming Audrey's question.

"You're going to test them?" Draxus was surprised with the answer Liam gave to him. "Of course, you're the soul with the highest potential to complete the Prime Existence. So those around you must be able to handle soul rampages in the case you get possessed again." "Me getting possessed again is for sure certain... But why exactly are you testing them? To see if they can stop the other souls?" Liam nodded as Draxus answers his own question and gave additional information to it. "The rest of the souls are some of the most dangerous beings in the universe. You should know this as they have done more damage than the [Destroyer]." Draxus was shocked, for the other souls to have caused more damage to the universe than the [Destroyer], a race that was made to destroy worlds. "Anyways, just as I told you, I want to see if your subordinates are able to handle such dangerous souls by themselves." "I see..."

The two conversed more and after some time a girl with pink hair and pink eyes appeared, wearing a white sun dress. "Liam~!!!" She hugged Liam the instant she got close to them. Liam wrapped his arm around her as well. "You've come Eve?" The girl smiled as she nodded with an agreeing tone. "I've finished my test on your subordinates, they've asked similar questions to me so I gave them answers on your behalf as well." "You're going now?" "Yeah, I'm already dead anyways, I'll probably go meet Reito and Zero as well. Since ya know? We're slowly going to turn into one person anyway." Draxus was somewhat shocked as the two of them share pretty much one body in the end. "You'll be taking over the fight against [God of Dominion] for us yeah?" Draxus nodded from Liam's words. "I see, good luck with that. You can make use of my power as much as you want. Oh and the two of them said to relay something." Draxus was slightly confused as he has not particularly have anything to say to his other fragments of self. "Zero said to take care of the Ernaline of your world, and Reito told me that you should take care of your Amelia. They're also in that world right? But as different people?" "Yeah, tell them that I'll take care of their reflections here." "Heh, be sure to take care of your version of [Eve] as well aight?" "Haha, aight." "You're a lucky man, having the chance to be surrounded by their reincarnations, while us men basically reincarnated into you. Anyways, I won't hold you up further. Good luck out there, [Prime Existence]." Liam and Eve faded into the distance as Draxus closed his eyes for a few moments.

Draxus opened his eyes in a seated position as he laid his back on the wall. As he looked around, he was surrounded by his Sentinels as Lilianna and Julianna hugged him from both sides as they started crying. "Drax... Your other selves are damn crazy strong..." Keith spoke first as he showed a wry smile after seeing Draxus return to his form. As the others started to relax out of relief, they all sat down as if the war had finally ended.

Draxus could hear some sobbing in the intercom, he was listening to Olivia and Abigail feeling relieved of the results of the battle.

"I-I'm so proud of ya'll... My [Sentinels]... Tears started to accumulate on Draxus' eyes as the other Sentinels smiled as they appreciated his return. Some of them teared up as well, finding relief on their victory of such a difficult test of their ability, tenacity, and coordination.

Draxus looked down to his two fiancés who are still hugging him as they bury their heads on his shoulders. "I'm back... Lily... Julie..." The two continued sobbing for a while, and after they managed to regain a bit of their composure, they welcomed him with slightly staggering voices.

"W-Welcome... Back Drax..."

"Glad y-you're alright... Drax..."
