Chapter 593: The strongest swordsman
Edelweiss washed her body under the shower. She knew that many might doubt her since she stayed on the street as she stayed in this country. However, she still took a bath. In this country, there was something known as a public bath, so she entered that place. While one needed to pay to enter, she didn't need to do it. She knew she was wrong, but what could she do?
Everything in this place was just too expensive!
Compared to her country, Estonia, this country was expensive.
Still, she had to say. It had been a while since she felt this relaxed. It was hard for her to trust someone, but she knew she could trust him, especially after they exchanged their swords.
Even now, she still hadn't forgotten his sword and how amazing it was. She also learned a lot from him, especially that sword of trickery, which strengthened her arsenal. Still, the most important thing he had pushed was her swordsmanship even further.
She might talk a lot about swordsmanship, and many might ask, did she have such a deep obsession with it? No.
That was her answer.
Unlike the others, she didn't have that much ambition or obsession toward swordsmanship, and it was also the reason why she was quite envious of him, who had a deep feeling toward it.
As for her?
Except for swordsmanship and cooking, she couldn't do anything else.
Honestly, if she wasn't a criminal, she might open her own sweet shop and have a family and children.
"......"
She let out a long sigh, feeling depressed. Someone around her age should have children now, but she was still single and had never been close to a single man.
'Except...'
She suddenly blushed before she shook her head since it was impossible for them to develop in her imagination. He only offered her to sleep in his room so she didn't have to stay outside. She knew she should reject, yet she nodded and agreed to his offer, which made her realize how irrational her action was.
Did she regret it? No, but her heart was beating so fast that she was afraid, wondering whether she had heart disease. Fortunately, she was so healthy, and she knew that it was because of her emotion.
"Edelweiss-san, I put your clothes here."
"Ah, um, yes!"
She was startled, but she quickly answered. She let out a sigh of relief since she only heard his voice, not his figure.
'Wait, if he peeks at me, what should I do?'
She fell into silence before she looked at her body. While she knew it might sound boastful, her body was perky. It was slender, yet it was a perfect size. Her skin was also good and at its best. She believed she was beautiful, and everyone agreed with it.
Yet even if she knew all of that, she couldn't help but feel nervous.
'Wait! Why am I nervous to begin with?'
They didn't plan to do anything strange. She only stayed in his room to sleep for a night.
That's all!
Nothing else!
Knowing this, she felt calmer and walked out of the bathroom, drying her body carefully and putting the best state of herself before she looked at the pajama which was prepared by him. She looked at the clothes for a while, wondering about the last time she had worn something so cute.
'Is this his girlfriend's pajamas?'
Suddenly, she felt gloomy before she shook her head, wearing the clothes she had prepared. Unexpectedly, it was the right size, which made her realize that these weren't his girlfriend's clothes since no one on her girlfriends had a body similar to hers.
'Did he prepare it for me?'
As for knowing how he was able to know his size, she didn't think it was that surprising since, as a swordsman, it was natural for one to have a strong observation ability, so he should be able to tell the size of her body with a glance.
Still, her guess was right since he made the pajamas with his cubic.
Her mood became better, and she wore the pajamas gingerly. When she was ready, she took deep breaths several times, trying to calm her heart, before she walked out. There she was, him, sitting on the sofa, reading a novel quietly.
"Have you finished?"
"Un."
"You can take a bed. I will sleep on the sofa."
Even if he didn't sleep, he knew he would be okay.
"No! How can that be? I will use the sofa! You can take a bed. YOu have a match tomorrow, right? You have to be in your best state."
While she didn't think that Tsukasa would lose, it was impossible to take the bed from him, especially when he needed the rest the most.
"You haven't slept for the past few days, right? What kind of man would I be if I let you sleep on the sofa?" He shook his head and said, "Don't be stubborn and just sleep on the sofa, okay?" He stood up since he wanted to take a bath. "I am going to take a bath first. You can sleep first if you want."
She wanted to say something, but he had entered the bathroom. She looked at the bathroom door for a while and wanted to say something before she sat on the edge of the bed. The bed was soft, and she knew it must be comfortable to sleep here. If she had to be honest, she also wanted to sleep on the bed.
After all, if one could sleep on the bed, who wanted to sleep on the sofa?
However, how could she do that?
It was just her selfishness, and he was the one who needed to rest the most, especially when he had a match tomorrow. She fell in silence for a moment before a crazy idea suddenly emerged in her mind. She didn't know why she suddenly thought of this solution, but she knew this was the best solution for their current problem.
Yet she had to say, her heart was beating so fast, even harder than before, since she was afraid he might misunderstand her. Still, this idea kept emerging in her mind, and it was impossible to erase. Her face reddened like a ripe tomato, cute, juicy, and delicious.
If he saw her at this moment, he might want to take a bite of her.
She waited for a while before he finished taking a bath, drying his hair with a towel. She looked at him for a while in a daze since his appearance was quite different from before, and this relaxed state.
"Um, Kugayama-kun."
"Yes?"
"About the bed... do you want to sleep together on it?"
"......"
