Chapter 400 Start! [Seeking Monthly Tickets!]_3

Morris could understand the excitement of these students. Over the four years since the 'Advanced Meditation Room' was constructed, it had been the site of countless miracles. While the reputation outside the 'Summoning Cottage' remained unclear, within its confines, the fame of the 'Advanced Meditation Room' was nothing short of thunderous, with both mentors and students eagerly flocking to it.

"Alright."

"Each of you should select a meditation room. It is now five o'clock in the afternoon, and the meditation rooms will officially open at ten tonight. You have these five hours to adjust yourselves and strive to achieve your optimal state. Don't waste such a precious opportunity and let down the Dean's good intentions."

Morris clapped his hands and turned to leave.

Even as he exited, he could still hear the cheers emanating from the 'Advanced Meditation Room.'

"They're this happy already?"

"If they knew about the other graduation benefits, they might be so excited they wouldn't even be able to meditate tonight."

Morris chuckled to himself and walked away.

...

9588th year of the 13th Epoch of the Divine Throne Continent, 4396th year of the New Calendar of the 'Valgrion' Continent, 32nd year of Peter VII's reign in the Silver Moon Kingdom, August 28th.

After traveling for over two months, 'Green' finally returned to his familiar homeland, back to the well-known 'Oak Town.'

Four years ago.

Green had accompanied merchants from the town to deliver goods to 'Holy Luo City,' a hundred miles away. By chance, two mentors from the 'Summoning Cottage' were in the city, testing the magical aptitude of age-appropriate youths. Hiding his intentions from the merchants, Green went to take the test. To his surprise, he was found to possess magical affinity. Though it was a low-grade affinity, it was still enough for him to potentially become a mage.

Green was ecstatic.

In 'Oak Town,' he had often heard tales of mages, dreaming of one day becoming a noble mage himself. Yet, years ago, he had been tested in 'Oak Town' and once again in 'Holy Luo City,' both times being told he lacked aptitude and was not chosen by any mage.

Carrying his final hope, he tried once more—and to his amazement, he passed. The state of his mind and mood at that moment could only be imagined.

Later, after arriving at the 'Summoning Cottage,' Green learned that he wasn't entirely without magical aptitude. It was simply that his talents were so meager that even the independent mages of the kingdom rejected him during the tests.

Only the desperate 'Summoning Cottage,' along with the dejected Morris and Grant at that time, were willing to reluctantly let him pass.

And that was the turning point in Green's fate.

Four years flew by.

Due to the long distance, he could only communicate with his family through letters, unable to return home. Now, having graduated, this was the first time he was coming back in four years.

Seeing 'Oak Town' in the distance, Green felt a pang of nervousness about returning home. He rubbed the milky-white ring on his finger. This ring, called the 'Holy Light Ring,' contained two square feet of stable storage space, allowing one to carry gold coins, magical materials, and other valuable items. Furthermore, the ring was imbued with a basic magic spell, 'Purification Light,' capable of dispelling negative conditions to a certain extent and healing minor injuries.

The 'Purification Light' of the 'Holy Light Ring' could be used three times a day. Of course, its primary function was storage. Rings like these were the preferred magical item for every graduate of the 'Summoning Cottage,' considered an exceptional choice. Green had exchanged thirty-three contribution points for it, completely depleting the points he had saved over four years.

But it was all worth it.

He pulled a pristine white magic robe from the 'Holy Light Ring' and donned it, then took out a magic wand to grasp in his hand.

The magic robe and magic wand were part of the graduation rewards for earning a full eight hundred credits over four years at the 'Summoning Cottage.' Similar-grade magic items on the 'Summoning Cottage's' exchange list were marked at twenty contribution points each, equivalent to twenty gold coins—about the total net worth of an average middle-class family in 'Oak Town.'

After tidying himself up, Green looked completely refreshed. Thinking for a moment, he cast 'Purification Light' on himself, making him appear even more vibrant. Then, he retrieved a vial of demon wolf blood from the 'Holy Light Ring,' held his magic wand, and began chanting a spell softly.

Soon, a bat monster appeared before him.

The bat monster was initially only the size of an adult's head. Upon receiving a command from Green, it transformed on the spot, growing into a large bat with a wingspan exceeding three meters.

[Abyss Creature: Bat Monster]

[Rank: Professional Tier]

[Abilities: Enlarge & Shrink, Evil Scream]

This was a high-level 'Bat Monster' of the Professional Tier—an abyss creature and Green's first contracted companion. It was another graduation benefit of the 'Summoning Cottage.'

Before graduation, Green had only been a mid-level professional, capable of summoning nothing more than cannon-fodder creatures like 'jungle fairies.' But after receiving the various graduation benefits from the 'Summoning Cottage,' he was now well-equipped, owning a high-level contracted creature, and had advanced into a high-level professional.

Green climbed onto the back of the bat monster, which flapped its wings and took to the skies, carrying Green as he made his triumphant return home!
