"Why must a woman make things so hard for another woman," Xu Lai sighed.

"She's a demon, not a woman," Luo Chu corrected him.

The Wolf Girl no longer stood upright. She crouched on all fours, her body tensing as she let out a low, ominous laugh.

"So it's true. Humans have always been hypocrites, never seeing us as companions, only as beasts." Speaking to herself, the Wolf Girl muttered, "If that's the case... then you can all just die!"

The moment she finished speaking, the Wolf Girl's figure flickered, transforming into a streak of light that shot behind Luo Chu in an instant. Her claws, sharp enough to pierce a fifty-centimeter-thick steel door, descended heavily, aiming to crush Luo Chu's head.
