Introducing Minecraft in The World in Ruin!

As the sound grew louder, the three of them spotted something astonishing a few meters ahead.

Towering over them, a colossal creature more than ten meters high walked past on four long, mechanical legs.

On its back, it carried a massive square structure, almost like a pack animal, yet unnervingly monstrous in appearance.

The rhythmic clangs they'd been hearing all along turned out to be the heavy, deliberate footsteps of this enormous "monster."

"Ahh!" "Oh oh..." The three of them stared nervously and fearfully at the approaching giant 'monster', feeling trembling all over, for fear that it would suddenly rush over.

However, the creature seemed oblivious to their presence.

It continued its path undisturbed, stepping directly through the cluster of "Fire Strictly Prohibited" containers in front of it, as if they weren't even there.

*Phew*

The three of them breathed a sigh of relief and relaxed.

After stopping there for a while, and as the sound gradually faded away, they hurriedly drove forward.

However, they were still a little scared, the feeling of having survived a catastrophe.

"Hey... What do you think it was?" Yuuri asked, holding her rifle, "... That really big thing."

"Your vocabulary is too small," Chito complained to Yuuri, and Senju took out his gun and looked around, but after a while, he changed to an iron sword, after all, the containers around him said 'Fire is strictly forbidden'.

"Was that a living thing?" Yuuri became interested in the monster just now, but Chito recognized its identity.

"No, that's not a living thing. It was a machine no matter how you look at it."

Yuuri pulled the bolt of her gun, stood up, and aimed ahead. Luckily, the vehicle left the containers and entered a steel tunnel with lights, which relieved Senju.

"... To begin with, machines don't breathe or have awareness. They're the same as our ride. Machines can't move or think on it's own."

"But that big one was walking on it's own..?"

"Maybe someone is operating it." Chito guessed.

"It's also possible that the previous directives are still in place and still working," Senju said.

He didn't think machines could move on their own, although he had seen robots before, but that was all driven by commands.

"Is that so? Then what if a machine walked up to us by itself... And said "Hello"? What then?" Yuuri remembered the robot she had seen before, and it was probably life.

"There aren't any machines like that," Chito disagreed with Yuuri's idea, then noticed an entrance nearby.

"What's wrong?" Senju asked, noticing Chito had stopped the car and feeling a bit confused.

"There's an entrance over there, let's go over and take a look," Chito pointed to the side, and the two people in the car also saw that there was an entrance there, and there seemed to be some light inside.

After the three of them got out of the car, remembered the conversation just now, "And not only machines, but they also say there aren't any living things on the planet besides humans anymore."

After looking at the entrance, they noticed that there was a staircase leading down, and below it was the source of the light.

"Isn't there such a thing as real life?" Yuuri muttered for a moment, but then the three of them felt something strange next to them, and then turned to look.

"Alas, yes," said the three of them, in front of them was a huge glass tank, and in the clear water, there was a fish swimming freely, and the eyes of the three followed the fish.

"Chii-chan, it's a fish," Yuuri also seemed a little surprised, and Senju felt like he was being slapped in the face at the speed of light, why is there a fish here?

"It's alive..." Chito was surprised for a moment, then raised her camera to take a picture of the fish.

"What exists," Yuuri on the side also learned to complain, but just as Chito was taking pictures, there was a sound of metal tapping next to her.

Yuuri grabbed her gun and looked in the direction the sound came from.

Then she saw something very familiar coming from the other side, and nervously raised her gun, shouting, "Chii-chan! Senju!"

It had a block-shaped body with a flashing light on the head that stretched out to the front.

Its limbs were made of slender rectangles and iron rods.

The overall appearance resembled a robot they'd seen before, but this one was larger.

Yuuri nervously pointed the gun at the robot, and Senju also raised his sword.

He suddenly wondered if he would gain experience points from killing robots and whether he could try it now.

But just as the three were on guard, the robot spoke.

["Hello."]

"Huh?" The three of them were stunned at the same time, and they couldn't imagine that Yuuri would really predict, no, there really was such a robot.

Chito also confirmed that this was a live fish, while Senju, standing next to her, was focused on the robot, thinking about how to defeat it with one shot or hack it to death.

However, the robot's attention was on Yuuri, so it didn't notice Senju's intentions.

Of course, this is also why Yuuri's intentions were so easy to understand—she kept drooling at the fish inside, and everyone knew exactly what she meant.

["You may not eat it."] The robot warned Yuuri again, and Chito leaned in, "Uh, more importantly... The machine is talking." 

"Could it be the same kind as the last robot we talked to?"

Senju replied in the back, "This should be a robot."

Its words reassured Senju and Chito, but Yuuri clenched her gun, "All right! Then let's eat the fish anyway!" 

"Really Yuu...?" Chito was a little speechless at Yuuri's gluttony, and Senju looked at Yuri with embarrassment.

["Please stop."]  The self-discipline machine stopped again, and sternly warned the three of them.
