Innocence

Jiang Ye stared at Gu Tuantuan and rubbed the corner of her lips with his fingertips,

"Will you be my girlfriend?"

"No."

Jiang Ye's eyes flashed with fluctuating emotions, and his voice was low,

"Why?"

"No reason, I just don't want to ."

Gu Tuantuan was a little irritable. She didn't know why she refused.

After hearing Jiang Ye's question, she almost agreed.

But she felt that if she agreed just like this, she would lose.

She didn't even know what she would  lose , but she didn't like losing !

Jiang ye was quiet for a few seconds.

His thin lips parted lightly,

"Tuantuan…"

As soon as he spoke, he was interrupted by her cell phone's ringtone .

Gu Tuantuan picked up the phone and glanced at it, it was mother Gu calling.

"Hey mom… um… I'm at home…"

Yu Guang noticed that Jiang Ye was approaching, she turned her face away,

"Okay… don't worry… I'll do it myself… um… okay ."

A second before she pressed the answer button , Gu Tuantuan had already roughly guessed the content of the call.

Sure enough, mother Gu said  that she would not be back tonight, and that there were vegetables in the refrigerator.

She asked Gu Tuantuan to make something by herself.

After hanging up the phone, she saw Jiang Ye who was close enough to touch her face.

She pushed him awat, and said firmly,

"I'm home now, you go back home too."

"Do you have an umbrella?"

Gu Tuantuan frowned and didn't understand why he asked her this question.

She glanced at the shoe cabinet. There was usually an umbrella in there , but it was probably taken away by her mother,

"No."

"Then I don't think I can go back."

"why not ?"

Jiang Ye raised his hand and pointed out the window.

Gu Tuantuan turned her head to look.

Only then did he notice that it was raining heavily outside.

Jiang Ye's voice came softly,

"You can't let the person who sent you home go back in the rain, right?"

Gu Tuantuan glared at him , then she reluctantly walked into the living room.

She opened the refrigerator to see what  was inside.

Jiang Ye stood behind her,

"Do you want to cook by yourself again?"

"Yeah."

Gu Tuantuan was worried about him staying over, and responded angrily.

"Do you want me to cook dinner?"

"Can you?"

Gu Tuantuan glanced at Jiang Ye, she still remembered the last time he cooked wontons.

Jiang Ye shrugged,

"I've seen some recipes."

He looked at the ingredients in the refrigerator,

"I can probably do a good job , no problem."

Gu Tuantuan immediately came to her senses when she heard he was going to cook for her, and she suddenly felt that there was nothing wrong with Jiang Ye not leaving.

Gu Tuantuan sat on the sofa and played with her mobile phone.

Occasionally , she looked at Jiang Ye    to see how  he was doing in the kitchen.

She  has to admit  that Jiang Ye was doing a decent job in every single step he did , from cutting vegetables to cooking the various ingredients.

After a while, the two dishes were fried, and a tempting aroma wafted out.

Gu Tuantuan jumped off the sofa and sat at the dining table,

"Jiang Ye, you've become a chef! wow! "

Jiang Ye smiled modestly.

Gu Tuantuan couldn't wait to take a bite,

"I'm impressed, your dish smells delicious… wow.."

After taking a bite , her whole person seemed to suddenly freeze.

The next second, she quickly took out a few tissues and spit it out,

"Why is it so sour ?! "

Gu Tuantuan's little face was almost wrinkled into a bun.

She carefully took a bite of the other dish and spit it out,

"Why is it bitter?"

No, it is not simple bitterness, but a bitterness that is also so salty that it becomes engraved in the taste buds.

Jiang Ye naturally didn't believe her.

He also picked up his chopsticks and took a bite. His face froze immediately.

He picked up two dishes without saying a word, turned and went to the kitchen to dump them into the trash can.

"Hey, why did you throw them out ? What are we going to eat?"

Gu Tuantuan asked loudly.

"I'll order takeout, my treat ."

Jiang Ye's answer was blunt, he sat down and turned on his phone on

He quickly ordered a few dishes.

Just after he finished ordering, Gu Tuantuan came out of the kitchen and reminded him slowly,

"Don't forget to order two more bowls of rice "

Seeing Jiang Ye's doubtful eyes, she blinked innocently,

"The rice in the pot… has turned charcoal black…"

Jiang Ye's face quickly turned black, and he opened the app and ordered rice too.

She can hear the hard clicking sound  when he taps his  fingers on the screen.

Seeing his rare deflated appearance, Gu Tuantuan's mouth could not help but gradually rise, and she couldn't hold back her laughter.

In the end, he didn't hold it back at all, and rolled on the sofa with laughter.

Jiang Ye's face was as black as the bottom of the pot,

"Is it that funny?"

"Yes!"

Gu Tuantuan wiped the tears from the corners of her eyes and nodded affirmatively.

This meal finally over after  a few ups and downs.

But fortunately, the takeaway tasted good.

Although it was still raining heavily, the delivery staff still delivered it , rain or shine.

The two were full. Jiang Ye was looking down at Qing Ning's new book.

On the contrary, it was Gu Tuantuan who didn't open the book, but was quickly swiping on her phone .

This week's new film "The Conjuring 2" is out !

She also knew Wen Ziren's horror film had come out already , but she didn't dare to watch it alone at the time.

She didn't expect to see of news of these anticipated horror movies online again !

Gu Tuantuan stopped at this point. She especially likes watching horror movies, but she is timid and afraid to watch them alone.

In the past, Dad Gu accompanied her to watch them, but since she went to high school, Dad Gu has been busy with work .

He also travels a lot on business, so he doesn't have much time to accompany her.

As for mother Gu, she is even more timid than Gu Tuantuan.

She mentioned it to her mom a few times, but she stopped mentioning it after she was strictly rejected by mother Gu.

Gu Tuantuan looked up at Jiang Ye who was not far away, and her  mind became active,
