"He is actually from a government organization?!" Susan exclaimed.

Previously, she had seen that the title of the information on Michael's phone was SSSSS confidential information. Just from that, it was clear that it was not that easy to be able to obtain that information.

But what made her so much puzzled was how Michael was able to obtain such confidential information. It was clear from the number of Ss that the level of confidentiality placed on that information was very high.

It was no wonder that Michael claimed that if she knew about it, and ended up spreading it, she would be in danger. If it was true, and not something that Michael had just made up, then that really was going to be the case.

Still, if this was something from the government, how could Michael be able to access it? Additionally, the speed of acquiring the information was less than 2 minutes. How could she believe something like this?

And as she thought about it, her doubts about Michael and his intentions towards Kate increased. She was only waiting for a chance, in order to expose any flaw in his words later on.

Kate was also shocked by the fact that this person was actually from the government. But if he was from the government, why did he have to act so covertly like that?

Apart from his contact information, there was nothing else that he had left. If he had shown his work ID, maybe she would have believed him?

Still, she remained silent, waiting for Michael to continue.

Michael went ahead and explained to the two ladies what this NEXUS organization was.

NEXUS organization in full was National Elite X-unit for Undercover Security. It was an organization that was not part of the military, but it had the authority of the military.

It was mainly in charge of internal security, dealing with gangsters, mercenaries, rescuing hostages and so on. Simply put, it was mainly in charge of dealing with internal problems.

While soldiers mainly dealt with opposing nations, this organization was in charge of dealing with all those that targeted the nation and its citizens internally, especially those people that held high positions within the nation.

The structure of this organization was quite simple. At the head was a commander, who was the ultimate authority of the entire organization.

Below him was the deputy commander, who was also the operations chief. Most of the time, he was the one that was in charge of assigning missions to those below. But of course, all of this required the approval of the commander.

Then, there was the field captain position, which was held by several people. In total, there were three branches, with each branch having a captain in charge.

Then, there was an ace operative. This was a member of a team that was incredibly skilled in their particular field. In order to be recognized for this position, there was usually a competition between the members of the team, to determine who was the best.

This position was never permanent, and once someone was better than the one who held the position, they would be able to take that position. And, it had its own privileges.

Then, there was the agent position, which was actually the position of the other members of the organization. Just like in a military, they were like soldiers. They did not hold any power in the organization.

Then, below them, there was a recruit position, which was for the group of new members recruited. As for the recruitment schedule, there was none.

They randomly recruited people, as long as one was identified to be talented enough to be able to join this organization. Of course, before one was recruited, there was usually a background check on them.

For the team structure, there were three branches, which included the combat branch, the support branch, and the intelligence branch.

The combat branch had 4 teams, with three main teams, and one team that was specifically for rookies, with a veteran that was going to be in charge of the team.

The four teams of the combat branch included the Delta team, which was formed by the rookies, then there was the Charlie team, which was mainly focused on infiltration before attacking. Then, there was the Bravo team, which was mainly focused on gang crackdowns and mercenaries elimination.

Finally, there was the Alpha team, which was unarguably the best team. It was well known for its short execution time of missions. Each member of this team was extremely skilled, and was considered to be amongst the best in their field of focus.

On average, each team had a team leader, 2 senior operatives, and 4 to 7 members.

For the support branch, it was mainly in charge of logistics, medical aid, technical support and operational assistance. It was just a single team, with the team leader, a senior operative, and 4 and above members.

Finally, the intelligence branch was in charge of surveillance, planning, recognizance, data analysis, and mission Hacking. The team included a team leader, a senior operative, and at least three members.

From the information that was acquired, it was clear that this was a well structured organization. As for the founding, it was founded over 30 years ago.

To be exact, it has been 32 years since the founding of this organization. This organization did not really have many people. The number of members usually ranged between 30 to 50 members. But, never had it exceeded 50 members, which seemed to be the maximum limit.

When the two ladies heard all this, they were both shocked. Neither of them had expected that there was such an organization that existed.

And now, Kate finally began understanding the reason why the person who invited her told her that she could get a chance of getting revenge.

With such an organization that was backed by the government, with each member of this organization being an elite, it was not impossible for her to be able to get revenge.

Additionally, just as she had been told, this was an opportunity for her. As compared to being a police officer, where she was mostly suppressed due to her young age, age did not determine the position within this organization.

In this organization, only abilities determined someone's position and power. If one wanted to have a higher position, then they had to have skills to do so.

If she really joined this organization, she would be able to develop. This was something that she would not be able to do as long as she continued being a police officer.

"Then, who is that guy who came to invite Kate? Is he some high ranking member of NEXUS?" Susan suddenly asked.

By this time, most of the doubts that she had towards Michael had already dissipated. By now, she mostly believed that Michael was not trying to trick Kate.

Still, there was some reservation. She had not yet completely trusted Michael, which was why she decided inquire about the person who came to the private room not long ago.

"That guy is called Richard Theodore. He is the commander of NEXUS. He is mostly not at the main base of the organization, but instead, likes to move around.

He has incredible judgment for talent, and had recruited most of the current members of this organization. As for his personal abilities, just from the fact that he holds the position of the commander is enough to tell you." Michael responded calmly.

There was an extended duration of silence, as the two ladies were trying to digest the information. All of this was just too shocking, and it would take quite a while for them to be able to accept it.

"So, what is your decision? Do you plan to join them? If you do, I would like to inform you about something. Just like the time back in Drenn city, where you were involved in dangerous clashes against gangsters, it will be the same in this organization.

And as you know, this organization is mainly in charge of dealing with dangerous opponents. So, when you join it, you have to expect frequent clashes, and there is a chance of dying.

But if this is the path that you want to follow, then, it can be said to be an opportunity for you. But it is a risky one. Still, when you join them, it is true, there is a chance for you to be able to get revenge." Michael asked before laying out everything to Kate.

This time, Susan did not say anything, as she waited for Kate to make a decision. After all, this was something that involved her future. So, she had to make a decision on her own, one that she would not regret later.

When she decided to get involved in the entertainment industry, Kate had supported her choice. Now, since this was also a chance for Kate, she was going to support her.

But to say that she was not worried would be a lie. After all, she cared about Kate, her only best friend. So, she was worried about the dangers that Kate would encounter out there.

"What do you think? Should I take this chance or not?" Kate asked an unexpected question.
