Infinity: Beyond's Journey

In the middle of the room two people stood opposite of each other in a battle ready stance both sides showing equal seriousness for the spar.

"Seeing that you are the junior here, why don't you take the shot first" said the leader.

"Sure, but don't blame me if you get embarrassed as I won't be going easy on you just because of your age" replied Arman.

"Young one's nowadays, they have no respect for the seniors and as for who will be embarrassed let's leave it up to time" said the leader.

"Here I come then brace yourself" and after saying that Arman sprinted towards the leader in a speed no normal human can sprint in.

Seeing such a burst of speed made the leader a little surprised at first but soon after that surprise was replaced with an excited expression. 

As the distance between the two of them was not that big to begin with Arman arrived in fornt of the leader in a matter of seconds.

Coming right in front of the leader Arman swung his fist at the abdominal region of the leader and coupled with the momentum with which he charge at the leader the force of that punch was enough to shatter concrete wall.

Right before the fist connected the leader sidestepped and did a quick rotating movement to arrive at Arman's side.

Due to the sudden movement of the leader Arman's fist landed on air and hit nothing.

After his hit failed he quickly turned his body in the direction of the leader and jumped backwards to get some distance between him and the leader.

But before he could pull enough distance a powerful kick came from the leader aimed at his stomach.

Though right before being kicked in the stomach Arman defended by bringing his hands forward and blocked the kick but the force of the kick made him stumble backwards.

Before Arman could stabilize himself from the kick he received a fist gradually approached his face with similar power as the kick and he had to defend his face by ducking.

Right at the moment of ducking he was met with another kick and this time he was not able to defend himself and was knocked backwards.

But maybe due to his high endurance or maybe the kick not being fatal he was able to stabilize himself quickly and swept his feet in order to make the leader lose his balance.

Seemingly aware of the sweep the leader jumped sideways in an attempt to dodge but before he was able to land steadily a fist immediately came towards him and hit him at front.

The force of the hit made the leader stumble backwards for some steps but he did manage to stabilize himself before the next attack came and in turn was able to defend himself.

In this way a lot of kicks and punches were exchanged between the two sides for hours until eventually signs of obvious exhaustion could be seen on the leaders face and in the end due to exhaustion the leader was knocked down by Arman.

Just to be clear in this whole spar the leader hadn't used his talent once maybe because he wanted to enjoy this battle for as long as he can without the use of his talents but due to some disparity in stats between Arman and him, he lost in the end.

"HAHAHA, that was a good spar newbie" said the leader.

"So did I prove myself" asked Arman confidently.

"Yes yes you proved yourself and now I officially welcome you to join our squad what do you all think" asked the leader to all his subordinates.

"What can we even say, you make the decisions here leader" said one of the subordinates and the other nodded their heads.

Seeing their reply the leader went towards Arman and extended his hands in a welcoming gesture and said" Welcome to the team Shura and by the way my name is Helmond Haeckel but you can simply call me leader or boss as I am still your leader even though you beat me"

Seeing the extended hand Arman also extended his hands for a handshake and replied with a smile "Glad to be able to join boss"

"So now that you are a part of the hunting squad let me take you to register as a member and also explain to you about the things you should know about" said Helmond.

After saying this Helmond went towards the other end of the room where there stood another metal door similar to the first one and like the first one after going through the procedures the second door opened as well.

Turing back Helmond said to Arman "Beyond this door is "The hidden City" one of the few strongholds of humans and as hunters it is our duty to protect this place from falling at the hands of the zombies so are you ready to take on this responsibility for all the humans"

After some time of being silent Arman said resolutely " I am ready and I will protect this place even if I have to die in the process"

"As if you will really die though" remarked Light.

 "Although i won't completely die but i will still be dead for this world so i don't think what i said is wrong" argued Arman.

"Sure whatever you think" said Light.

Seeing the resolute reply from Arman brought a slight smile to everyone's faces. 

"Then step right into your new home where you will hopefully be staying for a big amount of time at least until the time to counterattack will finally come for us humans and we will finally be able to live like we used to in the past, so come in" saying this leader stepped inside the door and invited others to follow him in.

 "Finally, we can see the hidden city now" said Light expectantly.

"Yes and let's hope that it's worth the trouble" said Arman.
