Chapter 300: Josephine's second Bloodline Awakening 2
"WHOOSH!!!"
A brilliant, concentrated column of golden light erupted next from Josephine, accelerating her ascension into the sky. She rose rapidly, piercing the clouds.
"Now what's happening?!" Sunny demanded, his voice edged with confusion. He knew she was powerful, but this chaotic display was beyond the norm for a simple breakthrough.
BOOOOOOM!!!
A vast, sonic wave of multi-colored energies burst out from Josephine, spreading across the sky like an invisible, high-frequency radar sweep.
{Mind and soul attack detected.}
{Soul armor and mind defense activated.}
"....?!!"
Sunny was speechless. His newly acquired defenses—the pinnacle of his own Fourth Order breakthrough—were being instantly challenged. The energy waves continued to ripple outwards, traveling tens of miles in seconds, threatening to overwhelm the entire region.
'This raw spiritual and mental assault could be catastrophic. Won't this be a problem for every life form within range?' he thought, his mind already racing to mitigate the fallout.
BOOOOOOM!!
Suddenly, the red light that had been passively visible solidified into a massive, blood-red sky directly above Josephine. A single, colossal red lightning bolt dropped from the heavens and smashed directly into her hovering form.
BOOOOOOM!!!!!
The force of the collision was cataclysmic, sending deep cracks tearing across the hard, dry ground, radiating from Josephine's original position. After several tense seconds, the residual energy dissipated, and she slowly descended from the sky, intact and radiating a palpable sense of ancient power.
{Congratulations, Mate has entered the Second Order.}
"Second... Second what?!!" Sunny yelled in disbelief. His own exponential jump had been planned; hers was a literal, spontaneous cataclysm. He immediately used the system to check Josephine's updated profile and unlocked Bloodlines.

"Oh my God! What a dangerous combination of bloodlines," Sunny thought, experiencing a moment of pure awe mixed with terror. The sheer utility and offensive capability of her new abilities were staggering.
_
BAM!! BAM!! BAM!! BAM!!
Hearing the ground tremor violently, Sunny looked over his shoulder in the direction of the Red Dungeon. A literal torrent of monstrous creatures—the Volatile Dungeon Horde—was streaming out of the shattered gateway, running toward their location. Qin Li, Qin Wei, and the mercenary fighters were chasing frantically behind them.
"Sir Alex!! Run!! These monsters are absolutely crazy!!!" Qin Li yelled, barely keeping pace on his charging tiger.
"Shit!" Qin Wei cursed, pushing her Fourth Order energy into her mount, calming it down. "There are countless Second Order monsters in that horde! He needs to get out of the way, or he'll be crushed! But why did the entire dungeon suddenly go berserk, even our mounts?"
She looked over her shoulder at the monstrous Boss—a huge, black, humanoid lion. "Even the Boss is losing control and going on a rampage. A Fourth Order Boss acting this erratically has never been heard of," she muttered, turning back to the charging horde.
Sunny stood his ground, not moving an inch. He was centered, but he felt zero killing intent directed at him from the approaching chaos.
"Sir Alex!! Get out of the way, or you'll be crushed!" Qin Li yelled, horrified that Sunny was frozen in the path of the disaster.
"Hey! Did that guy freeze up in fear?!" Robert, the Qin family mercenary leader, shouted in confusion.
"....?"
Qin Li, Qin Wei, Robert, and their fighters froze in shock. The horde of frenzied monsters—First and Second Order beasts—divided perfectly into two streams, flowing around Sunny in the middle, and rushing straight toward Josephine, who was still hovering slightly above the ground, eyes closed.
The entire, massive horde stopped below her, and then, inexplicably, bowed their heads in complete submission.
"What is happening?!" Qin Li jumped off his mount, stopping just behind Sunny.
'How could her energy be so much more commanding than last time?' Qin Wei thought, staring intensely at Josephine, then down at the countless monsters now worshiping her.
"Are these powerful monsters... bowing to your wife?" Qin Li asked, his entire worldview shattering before him.
Sunny watched, a profound realization settling. He knew Josephine possessed the enchanting skill, but she was using it without a conscious howl or transformation. She had effortlessly enslaved every creature lower than her in rank—including all the First and Second Order monsters in the horde.
'So powerful... That is my girl,' he thought, a slow, proud smirk spreading across his face.
Josephine slowly landed on the ground. She walked with deliberate steps toward the nearest massive beast—a five-meter-tall black Spider. She calmly placed her hand on its head. With a single, silent thought governed by her new Metal Goddess bloodline, every trace of metal in its body—from internal skeletal structures to trace elements—instantly solidified and twisted. The monster's living tissue failed, and it collapsed, dead, instantly transforming into a pile of lifeless, blackened metal.
".....?!!!"
Now, both Sunny and the humans were genuinely horrified. Sunny was shocked by the sheer speed and efficiency of the new ability, while the humans were paralyzed by the absolute, effortless destruction of a Second Order beast.
"Hey... Mr. Alex... Is that still your wife?" Qin Li whispered, his body trembling, fear overriding his awe.
"Because if she isn't... we need to get out of here. If she commands all these beasts to attack us with her as their backer, we will suffer catastrophic losses."
"Calm down," Sunny muttered, crossing his arms, his gaze fixed on Josephine, who turned toward him and offered a bright, loving smile.
Seeing the warmth in her eyes, Qin Li and his group let out a collective, ragged sigh of relief.
"Phew. I truly thought I was going to die today," Qin Li muttered, wiping sweat from his brow.
