Infinite wealth In A New World

Chapter 115: Blood Sisters

Sunny took the glowing stone and stored it within the system storage. "Okay... we need to—"

BAM!! BAM!

"Another one?!" He spun around, his attention drawn to the crashing footsteps echoing from his right.

"Give me your bow, dear," he said, gesturing to the weapon in Ellen's hands.

Ellen nodded, handing him the bow without a moment's hesitation. "Use your celestial energy to make the arrows," she said simply.

Sunny nodded, raising the bow and concentrating his energy to form a glowing arrow. 'It seems my archer training back on Earth paid off,' he thought, the familiarity of the stance settling in.

BAM!!

A female Giant, standing a colossal 10 meters tall, stomped out from the trees.

"Are you serious right now?!" Sunny exclaimed in disbelief, his eyes fixed on the towering figure.

{Name: ???.}

{Race: Giant.}

{Bloodline: None.}

{Rank: ???.}

{Strength: 100,000.}

{Agility: 90,000.}

{Stamina: 100,000.}

{Defense: 100,000.}

{Attack: 100,000.}

{Celestial energy: 0.}

{Magic resistance: 100,000.}

{Extra skill: Immunity to skills and elemental attacks.}

{Weaknesses: Master's rank is too low.}

'It seems all their stats are identical, just like the 10-meter one below the hill,' he thought, aiming for the exact spot on the Giant's head where Ellen had struck the first one. He released the arrow with deadly precision. It flew true, lodging itself in the Giant's skull.

The female Giant raised her eyes, looking foolishly at the arrow stuck in her forehead, before her gaze lowered to Sunny.

"HEEEEEEE!!!!"

She let out a furious shriek and lunged forward, her enormous form a blur of motion.

"What the hell!!"

Sunny reacted instantly, leaping toward Ellen, scooping her up, and jumping out of the Giant's path.

BOOOOOOM!!

The 10-meter Giant smashed into the ground, raising a cloud of dust and smoke. Several trees, unable to withstand the impact, fell to the forest floor with a crash.

"I thought that was their weak point?" Sunny muttered in surprise, giving the bow back to its owner.

"I can't believe I am saying this, but why don't you try?"

Ellen took the bow, exhaled, and created an arrow. Sunny watched her every move, determined not to miss a single detail this time. She held the arrow with a shaky hand and released it without even looking at her target, her eyes focused entirely on balancing the arrow on the bowstring.

Sunny blinked. He watched as the arrow, which looked too weak to hurt a harmless rabbit, struck the Giant's backside. To his utter shock, the massive creature collapsed to the ground, dead.

"This?!"

He looked at the fallen Giant, then at Ellen, then back at the Giant again, and finally back at Ellen.

'Is heaven blind or something? That arrow wasn't even shot correctly; the edge simply touched the Giant, and it died.' He blinked again.

'There are only two explanations... One: there's something fundamentally wrong with these Giants. Second: Ellen is their weakness, meaning she alone can kill them.' He rubbed his jaw in contemplation.

'Maybe there are others out there who can achieve this, but regardless, Ellen did it... Was it a blessing that she snuck aboard the ship?'

BAM!!

BAM!!

BAM!!

The two looked up to see three more Giants walking toward them: a 5-meter, a 7-meter, and an 8-meter tall one.

"Ellen! Shoot them down!" Sunny said, a proud smile spreading across his face.

Ellen nodded, happy she could do something to help. Although she didn't know how or why she could kill the Giants so easily, she didn't question it.

'As long as I can assist Dad, I don't care about anything else,' she thought, nocking an arrow on the bowstring.

______

[Five minutes later!]

Sunny stood amidst the fallen bodies of the Giants, lost in thought.

'So now I have five Evolution Stones. Not bad, not bad at all... Ellen can help me collect them all... But I can't put Ellen's life at risk for some stones... Maybe after I get stronger, I'll come back here alone to deal with these fools.'

He raised his head to the sky, staring at the swirling storm clouds.

"It's getting dark. We need to find a place to spend the night and continue--"

Sunny stopped, seeing Star's dot moving toward them on his system. "Oh? Did she sense us?" he wondered aloud.

Ellen tilted her head in confusion, only to hear rushing footsteps approaching them. She and Sunny turned around to see Star, Alexandra, Vancouver, and the rest of the group standing before them, all breathing heavily.

"Are those Giants? Wait, they're dead?" David was stunned, his eyes wide as he took in the scene.

"Brother, how did you kill all these Giants?" Star asked in surprise, walking toward the two.

"Oh... I wasn't the one; Ellen did," Sunny said with a smile.

"....?!"

The seven people standing before them blinked, utterly speechless.

[Beastify Nation.]

[Jinx's room.]

Jinx's eyes fluttered open, and she slowly sat up on the bed. Her gaze swept around the room, then fell to her body. Seeing she was fully clothed, she raised an eyebrow.

"You're finally awake."

Jinx looked at her destroyed door, seeing Josephine walking in with a tablet in her hand.

"Why... Why did you destroy my door?" Jinx asked in confusion.

"Sorry about that. You didn't open it, so I kicked it open," Josephine said, stopping in front of her.

"You kicked it open? You're a Queen, please act as one," Jinx said, placing her feet on the ground.

"How long was I asleep?" she asked.

"Not much, just two hours."

"Two hours," Jinx said with a sigh.

"What happened to you? When I came in, you were on the ground... And your scales were all gone--"

"---Don't mention it," Jinx cut her off coldly. "Please," she added, her voice softening.

Josephine stared at her for a few seconds before nodding in understanding. "I won't force you on anything." She sat down on the bed, looking at Jinx's side profile.

"I just want to tell you two things... Jinx, you're not alone anymore. You have us, we are family, so if you have things to share, you can come to any one of us," Josephine said in a warm tone.

Jinx turned to face her. "What about the other thing?" she asked.

Josephine placed the tablet on Jinx's lap, showing her the test results she had run.

"I got Ellen's blood from the vials taken from the Ogre who kept her captive, while yours... Well, when you were asleep, I took a hair," Josephine admitted.

Jinx's eyes widened as she stared at the screen.

"You? You're saying Ellen and I are blood sisters?" she asked, her voice filled with disbelief.
