Chapter 10: -In the tomb I go-

When one goes to another world, what do you expect? A magical red dragon soaring through out the sky, a man with the power to revive himself come crawling out of the wood works? No, what I was expecting was a tomb that seemed to have been housed by power houses.

Going to another world wasn't gonna be a shocking experience for me, I have a vault that exists outside all of creation for Gods sake. But as I woke up this morning, I was actually excited for my first ever real exploration into an unknown world, one I intend to explore more than I did the others for once.

I went downstairs to the shop and I saw my friend Ainz waiting there for me. "Hey Ainz" I said to him as I entered the shop and set him down a cup of tea. "Hello John" he said as he took the cup graciously. He sipped at it slowly as I was now behind the counter. "So, I have a question" I told him as he indicated he was listening.

"Your followers won't kill me right?" I asked him as he looked at me as If that was kind of a dumb question. "You know how fanatic they are, they will follow my orders to the letter" he said as he sipped his tea slowly.

"I know you said that already, but considering how they view humans it still makes me wary" I told him. "I know that, but I can't just get rid of their prejudice, all I can say is they can't harm you and must follow your orders" said Ainz as it soothed my worries but I still wanted to be prepared for the journey.

"Hey, want to look inside my vault as I prepare?" I asked him as I waved the entrance open and we both went inside. I was looking around for certain weapons and ohter proviison like healing medicines like full recovery potions or potions of cure disease. I could also visibly hear the excitement of Ainz in the vault.

"There is some interesting stuff in here dude" said Ainz as I could here him rustling around, and the audible scream that followed was one I wouldn't have expected out of a skeleton, considering his natural emotional resistance. "You have a world item?!" he said in shock as I was confused. "World Item?" I said to him as he went on a whole tirade explaining the about the terminology and its significant nature in his world.

A world item was made from the scattered leaves of Yggdrasil, yes the world tree, in the game he played before he was reincarnated and they were considered to have the power of a world in ther hands and could break the games balance. Yes, I had those world breaking items in the vault, at possibly an unlimited amount to boot.

"John, you are starting to scare me" said Ainz and I could seem him visibly shiver. "You want some? I have an unlimited number of them possibly anyway" I told him as his mouth went slackjawed. "Are you being serious right now?" he asked as I nodded yes as he looked visibly excited. "Yes, then I know exactly what I want then" said Ainz as he searched for the items he wanted while I found the smaller items I can carry on person. I can summon them from my vaults portals if I want, but I want atleast a few small items on hand like medicine and such.

"Okay, I think I am prepared Ainz" I said to him as he came back with a lot of stuff I was unfamiliar with. I asked the vault to pull up the items name and effects and I got to say, I was downright scared on some of them, even if the other stuff I potentially held in here could surpass them. The oruborus one was particularly concerning as well as the one called the Longinus.

"You found what you need buddy?" I asked him as he was stuffing some more stuff in his item box, and I am pretty sure I saw atleast one hourai elixir go in his box and a world tree seed. Dear lord, where is he getting these things and why do i feel like the world he lives in is going to become a hell to which no one returns?

"Yes" said Ainz and his confidence seemed to have soared a bit. "Alright, can we head out?" I said as I made sure the communication device I gave to Harry and the one I had that was linked to it was with me in case he wanted to call later. "Yes, lets head out so I can introduce you to my subordinates" said Ainz as we exited the vaults, and I had an idea for gifts I could give to score goodwill.

As we stepped through the door, the office space which belonged to Ainz came into view along with two people that were now occupying the space. One was a beautiful women with snow like skin who wore a white dress. She had rams horns curling out from her head and black wings sprouting from near her hips.

The other was a man with tanned skin. He wore an orange pin-stripe suit with small glasses adorning his slightly angular face. Sprouting from his hip are was a metal plated tail that was adorned with a variety of spikes. When they both looked over at my direction, they looked surprized at my presence, and dare I say, downright hostile.

"Is this the time I give gifts for peace?" I asked Ainz and my use of casual language with him seemed to have spurned them as I could feel that the one with wings was about to unleash a fury that would have me reeling from it. "Albedo, Demiurge, I have brought a precious guest. Please get the floor guardians with the exception of Victim and Gargantua into the Ampitheater" said Ainz as they hesitated but complied and made to leave.

"They are scary" I said to him as he chuckled. "Well, my guild was composed of monsters and we were pretty powerful, so its only understandable they would be scary" said Ainz as he made a gate and I stepped through along with him. As I stepped through, I immediately spotted two small figures in the middle of the arena, running over to our area.

"Lord Ainz!" shouted one with a red leather suit with a white vest and pants. I could tell it was a girl, atleast by her tone. The other one was what confused me. I had a feeling he was a boy, but the white skirt was what threw me off, even if many characters from shows had white skirts and were actually boys.

"Are these Aura and Mare?" I asked Ainz as the elves finally noticed my presence. They seemed surprise, and I could tell Aura was anyway. "Hey, Lord Ainz, why did you bring a human here?" asked Aura with hostility. 'Ainz, couldn't you guys have programmed less hatred in them?' I thought to myself.

"He is a friend of mine and I plan to introduce him when the rest of the floor guardians are here" said Ainz as they looked at me with surprise. "But why a human?" they asked, and it seemed as if they were truly curious. "Because he is a friend who can bring many things to Nazarick, and because I want to" said Ainz in a kingly tone.

They still seemed like they wanted to protest but they pushed it down it looked like, but now curiosity plagued their eyes and wondered what about me could make me friends with Ainz, atleast, that's what I guessed from their expressions. I then saw other people appear. One was a vampire, the other was a diamond looking beetle monster, a group of maids and a butler, Albedo, and finally Demiurge.

'Oh boy, I wonder how this will go'.
