Infinite Providence: The First Legendary Death Supreme!

Chapter 6: Step by Step!

Getting back to his house, Ken had once again stopped for a few minutes, getting his thoughts together.

Then he looked at the door.

At this point in time, Ken found himself stranded, launched into an unknown world and blessed with providence, yet knowing so very little.

He felt stranded between familiarity and unfamiliarity, excitement and fear, caution, and also a sense of being used.

"Step by step." He spoke; since he didn't have any way to deal with this, he'd leave it for later.

This was the solution to this enigma.

Step by step, he would learn; step by step, he would get used to it; step by step, he would get all the tools and exploit them for max efficiency to be in control again, in complete control over his life.

So many thoughts were crossing his mind because he had just started anew when he was so far ahead in his life.

But he had to slow down, he had to accept it, and he had to start moving slowly once again, using the experience he had to his advantage.

After all, whether he liked it or not, things were different now.

Things were indeed different because this was no longer Earth.

The spirit path, the elements, the secret realms, the other races, the abominations.

Many strange and supernatural phenomena surrounded him, making his goal of control harder than ever.

Thus, the only way for him to secure it was by getting stronger. This was the only truth.

And Ken believed that in any world, information was the primal form of strength.

As with knowledge, all the doors opened, even those of ascension.

Thankfully, he didn't have to worry about people noticing anything about his transmigration, as, let alone the other outer sect disciples, even this body's own parents would fail to detect any difference due to the limited meetings they had.

Not to mention, they were far away, and the chance of him ever meeting them again was little to none.

On the other hand, this world was harsh, giving mortals little to no rest, let alone those of higher power or the ones pursuing mystical powers, like him.

Each and every moment was spent trying to grasp more truths.

He wondered how such people acted when they met with mortals, or those they deemed beneath them. Were they arrogant? Condescending? Does their ego take over?

This was something he had to observe and find out. It would be very beneficial for him down the line.

He would like to draw a conclusion from what he knew.

But he refrained from doing so.

The level of intelligence Ken had perceived from the cultivators at the recruitment process was completely different from the prideful and arrogant young masters who didn't think of consequences, as they were portrayed in fictional stories.

Still, all of this wouldn't stop cultivators from feeling higher than mortals, as it was a truth, a fact no one could deny.

The previous Ken himself, upon discovering that he had a 7th-grade root, made a 180-degree mental transformation.

Because from then on, he was on a completely different pedestal.

But even so, to base his entire understanding of this world on an earthling's storytelling... wasn't wise.

Being in the middle of many such youths, Ken wondered how he should carry himself in such an environment, one that he had little to no knowledge of.

What if this world didn't allow for that? What if the core fundamentals were different? Slight variations could, one way or another, cause huge deviations.

He deemed it wise to not go around causing trouble or displaying enough information to the point where it could be used against him.

He was in the middle of a sect, and who knows when a monster could set his eyes on him?

Upon thinking about it and putting his priorities on top, Ken concluded balance was the answer.

As of right now, he couldn't claim that he was 100% sure of his assumptions. True, he had memories, but they were the previous Ken's, not his.

The way he perceived them was different from the way he would have had he been in his place.

So he came to the conclusion that he would continue observing for now, and once he had successfully written down a plan to follow, all of these little fears and worries would be left behind him.

So from now on, he would observe calmly and slowly and only act accordingly, promising efficiency.
