Infinite Harem System: I Grow Stronger From Every Female Lead

Chapter 133: Von Agres Family (3)

Leonardo held the reins of the carriage as uncontrollable tears streamed down his face.

He covered his face in shame, trying to wipe away the tears, but they kept flowing. "I'm so happy..."

He grinned through his tears. "I'm so happy she found a man who loves her, and sisters she can speak to with a smile on her face."

It felt strange watching the Emperor break down.

Leonardo's story was indeed heart-wrenching, but Arthur couldn't exactly sympathize with him.

Even if that situation happened to him, he doubted he would simply sit still and watch what was his be taken by another.

But they lived different lives.

Arthur patted him on the back, pulling him into a gentle embrace. "I don't think you should be crying like this in front of your son-in-law."

Hearing those words, Leonardo's tears intensified. "Do..." He stammered. "Do you think Elizabeth will ever forgive me?"

Arthur turned to the carriage and pulled back the curtain covering an open window. "What do you think, Lisa?"

Inside the carriage, all his wives wore serious expressions.

The Emperor's eyes snapped back, meeting Elizabeth's gaze as she sat in the seat directly facing him.

Seeing her so close, his tears flowed even more, and he tried his best to stop them. "I'm sorry... I know I can never truly earn your forgiveness, Elizabeth, but please just—"

Elizabeth cut him off, her voice a little warm as she fiddled with her fingers. "How was my mom?"

Leonardo locked eyes with her, and with tears still in his eyes, he smiled. "She was beautiful."

. . .

Arthur and his wives gave the two some space as they stepped out from the carriage and stood in front of the venue's gate.

From where Arthur stood, he could see the warm smile on Leonardo's face and Elizabeth becoming more comfortable.

Eira stared at them and wept. "I'm so happy..."

All of them laughed.

Arthur tilted his head with a smile. "Yeah, me too."

Sylvia gave him a playful jab in the stomach. "How does it feel marrying a princess?"

Arthur shrugged. "Princess or not, I would have still married her." He smiled, his gaze sweeping over his wives. "The same goes for you all too."

He took a deep breath and stared at the sky. "I believe that regardless of who you are now, if I met you in another timeline it would remain the same, I will still love you."

He waited for a moment, and hearing no reply, he glanced down. "Why aren't you—"

His words stopped as he saw his seven wives flushed crimson, glancing around as if they had misplaced something.

Arthur smiled softly, then his eyes shifted to Leonardo and Elizabeth, who were now walking toward them.

Leonardo smiled when he saw Arthur, and upon reaching him with Elizabeth in his hands, he placed her into Arthur's care.

"I know I've been far from an ideal father, so could you take care of my girl, Arthur Arcain?"

Arthur looked at Elizabeth's soft palm, nothing like that of an alchemist's.

Then he smiled. "I would have done that regardless."

The man, now without his mask, revealed his real face, a handsome man with white hair and green eyes.

He glanced at Amelia and smiled. "How has Jany been doing?"

Arthur flinched at the name, while Amelia smiled, looked down briefly, then back at him. "You should ask her yourself."

Leonardo raised a brow, then slowly turned his head.

Right beside their carriage was another, bearing the insignia of the Northern Dukedom.

The carriage stopped by the gate, and its door opened to reveal Reynolds.

"Who do I see here? Isn't that my boy Arthur?"

He leapt down from the carriage and put Arthur in a headlock.

Janet descended with her usual poise. "I knew you were a bad match for my daughter."

She covered her mouth with her fan. "Chickens are laying eggs, and you're competing with them using girls."

Arthur nearly coughed up blood at that one. "Good evening, mother-in-law."

Janet scoffed, but behind her fan she smiled. 'Seems like he hasn't been slacking off in training.' Her gaze shifted to the other girls. 'And each of these girls is a monster, a good challenge for my baby.'

She turned to Amelia. "How have you been, Amy?"

Amelia dipped her head slightly. "Greetings, Mother."

Janet smiled, knowing she was in for a story.

Immediately, another carriage pulled up, carrying the insignia of the Western Dukedom.

From it emerged a man with the face of a scholar, glasses, and neatly slicked-back black hair. Behind him came a stunning woman with purple hair and eyes.

As soon as she stepped out, she sprinted forward and lifted Ellie into her arms. "My baby!!"

Ellie smiled gently. "Hey, Mom."

She hugged Ellie tightly, then looked at the other girls. "Are these your co-wives?"

She pulled all of them into a big squeeze. "Why are you all so adorable?"

'One's the freaking goddess, and the other's an ancient dragon!' Arthur warned internally.

After calming down a little, she turned to Arthur and tossed him into the air.

The moment he landed, she hugged him tightly. "You're the most adorable male I've ever seen in my life. Is it because you have more feminine genes? Well, is it?"

'Damn, she's nothing like Ellie.'

Janet cleared her throat. "Penelope, aren't you being a bit crude?"

Penelope turned to her. "Oh, Janet, I didn't see you there."

She released Arthur, and sparks began to fly between them.

Ellie's father, Henry, looked around and then froze.

With a loud voice that snapped everyone back to focus, he said, "I greet the great sun of the empire."

He immediately dropped to one knee.

Only then did Janet, Reynolds, and Penelope notice him and pay their respects too.

"We greet the great sun of the empire."

Leonardo cleared his throat and said:

"No, I'm not the most important one here."

Only now did he notice…

He bowed to the two ladies at the center of the group.

"I greet the only surviving ancient dragon and daughter of the First Dragon, Miss Syr'Nathira Val Archaian."

He felt sweat bead on his temples. "And I greet the great goddess who protects us all, our Goddess Sylvia."

Penelope, Henry, Janet, and Reynolds all turned to the two blonde-haired women.

They had seen enough statues and heard enough stories to recognize their faces.

All of them sank to both knees, bowing and offering their greetings.

At that moment, they all had the same thought:

"How did this kid even manage to seduce such figures?"
