Chapter 79: You... Me... F*ck!
"A shame indeed," lamented Cassius as intense astral winds whistled past his face.
After a while.
With the incredibly strong winds rolling out from where a miniature atomic bomb had just hit finally subsiding, Cassius flashed back over while still fused with Nyxvoldar. He could no longer feel or see the presences of the Tyrant God or the other Sand Devourers, but one could never be too careful. Moreover, he had received a system notification for everything except the Tyrant God, which worried him.
'Could she still be alive after all that?' was the harrowing question that lingered on his mind as he blurred to the center of a crater that stretched outward for dozens of miles.
The depths of the crater also went down for thousands of meters, yet it was not dark thanks to the eternally sunny days of this place.
Upon stopping his teleportation-like run across the sand dunes and into the crater's epicenter, Cassius searched around for any traces of life. At around the same time, he received a single level-up notification from the system, which only further improved his strength.
Yet, even after five minutes of meticulous searching, he was unable to find any sign of the Tyrant God's existence.
Natural assumption would dictate that she should've died during the explosion. Hell, even a neutral A-Rank Boss Monster would have died in that blast!
Yet he had to ascertain the truth for himself.
Then, it came.
*Ding!*
[You have slain the Outer Embryo of the A- Tyrant God Unique Boss Monster!]
[Your Experience Bar tremendously moved!]
[You leveled up!]
[You received 120 AP!]
[All of your Main Attributes have increased by 40 Stat Points!]
[You leveled up!]
[You received 150 AP!]
[All of your Main Attributes have increased by 50 Stat Points!]
[You leveled up!]
[You received 200 AP!]
[All of your Main Attributes have increased by 75 Stat Points!]
Cassius received a meager three level-ups even after slaying an A-Rank Unique Boss Monster, which felt extremely lackluster. More importantly, however, was what the system termed the Tyrant God as.
"Outer Embryo…?" His brows curved. "What does that mean?"
WABOOM!
It was at that moment that something ruptured off to the side, creating an unusual explosive sound. Puzzled, Cassius shifted his gaze over, only to see a large whitish-gold and purple egg dug out of the ground and cracking. The egg was roughly the size of a car, and as more and more of its shell fractured, he witnessed something that made no sense.
CRACK—
From within the mystical shell emerged a woman who looked like she had just escaped from a fairytale.
With graceful steps, she landed on the charcoaled ground. Her long, luscious light gray hair cascaded over her exposed shoulders and molded her fully nude figure in a cradle of sorts. Cassius noticed her hair struggling to cover her twin peaks, which perked up proudly beneath the blazing sun.
But more than that, his eyes traced over her exquisite face—a work of art that was both round, defined, and contoured in a way that perfectly emphasized two large peach blossom eyes. Eyes that were dimmed yet contained a twinkle not previously present in her expressionless face.
At first, the otherworldly beautiful woman seemed to be regaining her bearings, squinting her eyes and rubbing her temples. However, after a couple of seconds, clarity returned to her pupils, and she surveyed her surroundings.
She seemed to be searching for something, clearly evident by the anticipatory glow lighting up her otherwise ice-cold facial features. Her sparkling eyes swam around the brightly lit crater depths, not stopping their flow until a mildly confused immortal-like man entered her line of sight.
Due to Cassius's grindset over the past week, his Charisma stat was now verging on 40, and though he was a bit lacking compared to this goddess of a woman, he still wasn't too far behind.
Yet, it didn't seem like the bubbly woman cared one bit about his appearance. Her face lit up like the 4th of July as she sprinted over to him without saying a word, then proceeded to drag her cute sniffer all over his bare chest.
'...What is this woman doing…? And who even is she???' Cassius could see a resemblance between this unknown woman and the Tyrant God in human form, yet this woman's temperament was clearly more coy.
Though, her current actions would not indicate as such…
Cassius wanted to speak up and interrupt the girl dragging her nose all over him, but he wasn't sure that was the right thing to do. Therefore, he stuck to keeping quiet and patiently waiting for her to finish… whatever it was she was doing.
Surprisingly, this took more than 10 minutes.
It was only then that the ashen-haired woman fixated her gaze on the eyes of the human she had inspected like a hound dog.
"...You…"
"You?" Cassius echoed.
"You…" The girl lightly pressed her index finger against his chest, then moved that finger to her ample bosom, denting into a soft spot mere centimeters away from a proudly stiff pink nipple. "Me…"
"Me… You…" Cassius repeated, puzzled by what she was trying to tell him.
The girl's slight smile curved upward, putting on display all of her sharp, shark-like pearly white teeth.
"You… Me… Fuck!"
She then went in for a tight hug that nearly squeezed the soul out of Cassius's vessel.
He wanted to frown at her words, but he was genuinely too shocked to do so. One second, he was fighting to the death with a Boss Monster capable of destroying an entire cosmopolitan city in minutes, and the next, he was torn between bewilderment and turning into a braindead vegetable.
For a moment, his mind seemed to flatline, with no changes until the pearly gates began to rear their heads.
However, when Cassius's wandering consciousness dipped down like a free-range hawk and appeared before the flaming pits of hell with a massive '1st Floor' inscribed above one gate, he suddenly shot back to the mortal realm.
Sanity returned to him, then gradually left again when he felt the squishy calcium cannons aiming to make him lose all sense of reason.
