Chapter 55: Plans To Recreate The Martial Dao Empire
The Martial Dao Empire was one of the most important things Jin left behind in Huaxia. It was what helped proliferate the Martial Dao Evolution Path, which was the primary reason he wanted to make it again.
"In every world traversal, I aim to prioritize the spreading of the Martial Dao Evolution Path," Jin said. "If not for the fact that it's the parent Path of the Path I follow and directly affects my Path's development, then it's because the insights all practitioners have in the Path get transmitted back to me. In turn, I'm able to perfect each Chapter of the Martial Dao, subsequently perfecting the Supreme Dao as well."
This could be seen with the 1st Chapter of the Martial Dao Path which, after a few months of Main World time and countless years of Huaxia time, led to the creation of a Chapter that couldn't be any better.
Wishing to recreate this result with Chapter 2, Chapter 3, and beyond as well, Jin needed to continue spreading the Martial Dao Evolution Path. And to do that, he had to have an organization that could assist in doing the one thing that no amount of power would help him accomplish.
Indoctrination.
That was the name of the game.
Though in Jin's case, it was less about religion and more about improving both himself and the people of the worlds he visited.
However, in a way, that sounded just like what every religious leader told the flocks of sheep to get them to convert, save for some slight… discrepancies.
But in a world like the True Spirit Continent, there wouldn't be much harm to the population post-spread of the Martial Dao Evolution Path. After all, they had already been indoctrinated once before.
'The Gods and their belief system,' Jin thought. 'Having taken the 2nd route to reach Rank 4, they could very well be extraordinarily weak for their Rank, but that's unlikely.'
Those who followed the 2nd route were normally known as weaklings because, at Rank 4, Belief—or Faith—was very hard to come by in the Main World.
Even Rank 6s and 7s had trouble gathering Faith if their Evolution Paths required it, let alone peons at Rank 4, who were more common in the Main World than sand at a beach.
But in a low-level world like the True Spirit Continent, Faith could very well be amassed in large amounts as long as one was strong and stringent enough. And the 42 True Spirit Gods, who maintained a monopoly on the supply of Faith within the 42 Kingdoms, knew exactly what they were doing.
But if the 42 True Spirit Gods wanted to have a monopoly on Faith Power, why would they invite Limit Mages with a Stairway to Heaven?
This was something Jin was determined to get to the bottom of.
"To get closer to the truth behind the 42 True Spirit Gods and why they lay out the red carpet for those who will never return is another reason I must bring my Empire back up from the ashes. I need an information-gathering organization, just like the one I had in Huaxia."
It was actually because of that information organization that Jin knew exactly where to find Xia Wen—the old Martial Supreme from the Aquafire Empire—when they marched toward his Empire.
This, as a result, led to the smallest number of casualties possible.
For Jin, however, it was less about saving lives and more about benefiting himself that he wanted an information organization. Whether it be because of the mystery behind the 42 True Spirit Gods or for obtaining more Super Element Crystals, he had to have informants.
"If it were a normal upbringing, creating an Empire from scratch would take quite a while. In Huaxia, it was only relatively easy because I was the leading disciple of one of the most terrifying factions in the world."
"However, now, it'll be… even easier."
Jin cracked a smile.
"To get my Empire up and started with my current status, all I have to do is take the throne of the Moon God Kingdom. After which, I can manipulate things from the shadows and gradually convert everyone from the Mage Path to the Martial Dao Path. By then, the Empire will be all there except in name and prestige."
But when it came to things like that, they had to be kept a secret—at least for now.
The 42 True Spirit Gods were, at the very minimum, Rank 4, possibly even in the later stages of the Realm. And to combat that, Jin had to be even stronger, just in case they had anything else up their sleeves.
"Since they took the Faith route, at least their proficiency with Rules won't be very high, but then again, I can't say anything for certain," Jin sighed in a mix of emotions. "As they've definitely been alive for more than ten thousand years, they certainly could've minored in Rules as well. If any of those Rules happen to be troublesome ones like Space or Time, I'll really be put in a bind."
Either way, he had no choice but to wait until his Embryo of Infinity was formed before making any moves against the True Spirit Gods. Only then could he be confident in fending them off by himself.
Just then, a knocking came to the door:
*Knock, knock!*
"You may come in," said Jin, acting far from his apparent age.
"Thank you, my Prince." A beautiful middle-aged maid walked in. With closed eyes and a graceful posture, she said with jiggling breasts, "The Entrance Ceremony for the Academy is about to commence. Would you like me to help you get dressed—"
"There's no need for that," Jin interrupted.
Snapping his hands, he conjured a navy-blue uniform from mid-air before blipping his current clothing out of existence and replacing it.
"This…" The maid's closed eyes opened in shock. "Level 2 Space Rule… This is really the Level 2 Space Rule…"
"Is this actually reality? Or am I just dreaming…"
