The Raimon players were currently on the sidelines, as well as the Mitsukebaru players.

The first half just ended with a score of 0:3, in Raimon's favour. The three goals were all scored by Akira and Tsurugi using their new hissatsu, Full Counter.

Due to Full Counter, Akira and Tsurugi were able to score two more goals into the first half.

"Alright, Everyone!" Kageyama called out, "Your performance in the first half was...!" Kageyama paused. Everyone waited in anticipation but Akira and Tsurugi knew that their performances were optimal. Kageyama continued, "...good!"

"Ahhh!" Akira exclaimed in happiness.

"...." Tsurugi stayed silent but he was happy within.

"Hmph!" Shun exclaimed resolutely.

Everyone was excited because they were complimented by Kageyama for the first time.

"Keep up the performance!" Kageyama exclaimed, "In the second half, Aoyoma will be coming to the bench in Shinji's stead! Akira, Tsurugi, I hope you guys aren't tired!"

"N-no Kantou-kun!" Akira exclaimed.

Tsurugi stayed silent but Kageyama knew what he was thinking.

"Alright! Make sure to widen the gap a bit more without using Full Counter!" Kageyama exclaimed.

"But why, Kantou-kun?!" Sokudo exclaimed.

"Yeah, Kantou-kun, it worked pretty well during the first half. We now have a three-goal lead because of it!" Kayari added.

"You see.." Kageyama spoke with his ever-serious face, "FULL COUNTER is incredible, but it takes a huge amount of stamina and physical power to constantly perform it! That said, Tsurugi honestly seems to not be that affected by it! Akira however…" Kageyama stopped before turning to Akira.

Everyone else focused their attention on him. They noticed that his breathing was rather erratic. It was unstable compared to Tsurugi's.

If anyone has put a hand on his chest, they would have also felt his rapid heart beat.

"Y-you're right, Kantou-kun! I only just felt it, but my stamina's gone down the drain." Akira stated, somewhat disappointed.

"A-Akira.. don't tire yourself, o-o-okay?" Okii struggled to speaking, Akira barely hearing his few words.

"Th-thanks?" Akira said with confusion etched on his face.

"Okay all of you, it's time for you to head back onto the the field and secure your first win!" Kageyama exclaimed.

"Hmph!" Everyone nodded resolutely. In a long time they were so confident about winning a match.

"Good luck out there!" Itami exclaimed.

"Yeah, don't lose!" Anna resolutely added.

The eleven players of each team ran confidently onto the pitch prepared for another forty-five minutes of endless clashes, all with a rubber ball.

Mizuku said, "That FULL COUNTER of yours, it won't work again!" Mizuku spoke filled with confidence. Could the Mitsukebaru side have learnt how to deal with with FULL COUNTER?

"Please, do you really think we need that hissatsu to beat your crappy team?" Tsurugi stated with a stoic expression.

His words clearly angered Mizuku as he had a somewhat grotesque look on his face. The other Mitsukebaru players were all clearly infuriated by Tsurugi's words and were all prepared to crush him.

Mizuku didn't waste any time and took the kickoff the moment the referee blew his whistle.

"It's started! The second half of this shocking match between Raimon and Mitsukebaru Jr. High! Raimon are surprisingly in the lead by three good points. Who would have thought this possible! Could it be because if their new first-years, Akira Matsumoto and Tsurugi Gurushimi, or their new coach, Kageyama Aiku!" The commentator exclaimed with clear passion in his words.

(A/N: Are the commentator's comments necessary to the matches? Because I really hate writing them, if you want me to continue wasting my time with the commentator, feel free to say it in the comments.)

Mizuku passed the ball to a midfielder on his right and the both of them started sprinting forward.

The midfielder passed to a defender not too far away from him before he sent a through ball to a winger on Mitsukebaru's left flank who then immediately crossed it over to Mizuku while calling out to him, "Mizuku! Use the other hissatsu!"

Mizuku effortlessly trapped the ball before sprinting forward a little. Tsurugi was just a few meters behind him but he didn't want to leave his position for a few reasons – He believed that his teammates would be able to handle Mizuku, and secondly, since they had planned to not use FULL COUNTER, he had no reason to drop back to defense. He just had to wait for the ball to come his way, then attack with all his might.

Akira approached Mizuku attempting to steal the ball, but Mizuku simply lobbed it over Akira's head then ran past him, retrieving the ball once more.

He encountered Shun, who said, "You won't get past me, Mizuku!"

"Are you sure about that?" Mizuku responded quietly, under his voice.

Mizuku crouched down, before a faint dome-shaped bubble of many particles appeared out of thin air.

"What! Is this your other hissatsu?!" Shun exclaimed with a look of worry.

"You guessed right!" Mizuku answered back with a grin before the particles within the bubble were dragged into the ball increasing its power by several folds.

"ATOM BLAST!" Mizuku yelled before blasting the ball forward with his rtight foot.

The ball blasted all the defenders in its way including Shun, before finding its place behind the net.

The scoreboard changed, indicating that the score was 1:3 in favour of Raimon.

"So what do you think of my other hissatsu, Shun?! Bwahahaha!" Mizuku laughed mockingly at Shun after the scoreboard flashed. Everyone thought that Raimon had a clear chance if victory, until now.

In the background if all this, Akira watched in surprise and wonder, "...."

"Akira, get it together," Tsurugi said to Akira.

"R-right!" Akira exclaimed resolutely.

The others on the Raimon team were all somewhat devastated. They had done nothing, and under two minutes, they conceded a point.

The score was now 3:3! Mizuku continued to score goals with his ATOM BLAST!

Mizuku was standing in a position with just him and Sawaegara. He prepared to use his hissatsu once more.

He performed his ATOM BLAST again. But this time, something Mercer seen to anyone other than the Raimon Club happened. Sawaegara's right hand turned to clay and grew larger, trapping the ball in its grasp. "MUD HAND!" Sawaegara exclaimed. "I was just shaken at your new hissatsu. It's not that I couldn't stop it, Mizuku!" Sawaegara added.

The ball was now in Raimon's possession. Sawaegara threw the ball to Tsurugi saying, "Here! Don't fail me!" Mizuku attempted to intercept the pass until he heard Tsurugi's voice behind, whispering, "You're starting to get on my nerves. That arrogance of yours, it reminds me of my dad, and when someone reminds me of my dad, I get real mad. So I suggest you get away from me."

Mizuku froze before falling to the ground. Instead if trapping the ball, Tsurugi shot at it, firing it towards his own goal. The spectators were in shock. They weren't sure whether Tsurugi was attempting an own goal or whether this was some kind of tactic.

Unknown to them, this was Tsurugi's REVOLVING DEATH SHOT.

The shot easily entered Mitsukebaru's net and made the score 4:3!

"Tsurugi! Amazing! You put us back in the lead!" Akira exclaimed as he approached Tsurugi.

Tsurugi turned, looking as stoic as ever. But he had a creepy illusory aura around him which made Akira somewhat afraid of coming any closer.

"Mizuku.. He reminds of my dad… nobody reminds me of my dad.." Tsurugi murmured.

"R-right.." Akira murmured as he walked away slowly.
