"Oh, you finally woke up! Do you know what you've done?" Nord arrogantly asked Haruto.
"What have I done? Does it have anything to do with all of this? I don't know what I've done, but... This has all gone too far!" Haruto shouted, trying to free himself from the restraints.
"Hehe! I can't just let you go like that! Gone too far? Gone too far! You're the one who's gone too far! You pathetic weak scum!" Nord kicked Haruto roughly.
"Ahk! Uh!"
"Hahaha! You deserve to die! Die, you bastard! Why! Why did you steal Jie Li from me! You're not worthy of Jie Li! You abandoned dog!" Nord repeatedly kicked and beat Haruto.
After fifteen minutes passed, Nord finally stopped, and Haruto's body was covered in wounds and bruises.
"... You... Don't... Deserve... Nona Jie!" Haruto struggled to put his words together.
"What! How dare you, you bastard! It's you who don't deserve her! You pathetic scum! You're the one who doesn't deserve her! It should be me! I should be Jie Li's lover!" Nord hit Haruto again, but this time much harder than before.
"Ahk! Uh! Argh!"
"Die! Die! Die!" Nord mercilessly and brutally beat Haruto.
"Hey!" Nord suddenly stopped.
"What!" Nord asked harshly to the man with scars on his face.
"The payment? Did you forget? I know you're frustrated! But don't forget our agreement, damn it!" The scarred man spoke loudly.
"Ugh! I know! Wait!" Nord then walked behind the sofa and grabbed a black bag before throwing it at the man.
"That's the money I promised, 10 million! Go! Our business is done here!" Nord said, shooing away the three men.
"Hmph..." The scarred man opened the black bag and found a stack of banknotes, with 100 Thousand Forty banknotes, totaling 10 million Forty.
"Happy doing business with the rich! Hahaha!" The scarred man and the other two men walked away.
Meanwhile, Nord shifted his gaze towards Haruto, but Nord was surprised to see Haruto smiling widely. Seeing that abnormal and strange smile, Nord became confused.
"You've been sentenced to death!" Haruto said it with a smile.
That instantly made Nord alert. Before he could realize something, Nord felt someone behind him, but Nord was slightly late to dodge the attack.
A hand had pierced Nord's stomach.
"Damn it..." Nord quickly freed himself and jumped away, staring at the person who had stabbed him.
"You! Why did you attack me!" Nord asked anxiously, gritting his teeth.
"Why? Good question. If I kill you, I'll get much more money." The scarred man said.
"What? You scum! You will regret doing this!" Nord said angrily before waiting for something, but after a few moments, nothing happened.
"What? How?" Nord looked around, confused.
"Oh? Did you think we would come to the transaction location and plan something, disregarding the backup plan you made? Hahaha, how funny!" The bald man said it with a terrifying grin.
On the other side, in various places around the abandoned building, there were several people lying motionless. All of them were lifeless.
"No way! You...!" Nord immediately took action. The blood scattered on the ground began to rise and form a needle, and the blood needles were directed towards the three men.
Seeing the attack, the three men quickly dodged to different places.
