"You don't need to do anything, just keep an eye on that woman and her daughter. I will find Kakuzu," Shino replied, turning to leave.

"Kisame?" Shino's lips tightened. Kisame was a ninja famous for Samehada, his legendary sword that could absorb chakra. But the information that Kisame appeared without Samehada felt strange to Shino, inconsistent with the character of Kisame he knew.

"Yes, Kisame isn't carrying Samehada right now. But that doesn't matter much, does it? We can always 'add' Samehada later when the time comes, using the Character Card Lottery Voucher," Obito said, shrugging casually, as if it were just a game for them.

"Ah, is that so? I can't wait!" Obito said in a silly tone that made the corner of Shino's eyebrow twitch slightly—a small sign that even Shino, with all his calmness, could be affected by Obito's antics.

"See you." Shino said in a low voice, then vanished into the shadows.

"Sure." Obito grinned once more before disappearing like smoke in the night.
