NOVEL NEXT Chapter 3: New Gaia
"What the hell is this?" Mark asked looking at the screen before him
"What's going on why is there a tree in the middle of the city?" a student asked
"No, my parent is at work I need to call them," a student said pulling out her phone and dialing a number
To her horror, she didn't have a connection and could not call her parents. As other students tried they were all met with the same result.
Taking out his phone Mark tried to call 911 but all received was a voicemail saying that all lines were currently full and to stay on the line.
"How the hell are all the lines full?" Mark asked confused
"Mr.Anderson, what do we do?" a female student asked
"Yes, it might not be safe to stay here," Johnson added
While the students were talking at yelling in fear the sounds of helicopters could be heard above them.
"It's the Military!" one student said happily
As the copters passed above them they all watched as it engaged with the flying beats. As the Copters got closer the dragon released a deafening roar before shooting fire at the helicopters causing all of them to explode.
Seeing this the fear within all of them grew. As they still watched in shock as the world fell the sound of running could be heard. Looking at the source of the sound what they saw caused some kid to fall and one to piss their pants.
A horde of small green humanoid creatures holding knives, clubs, and even bows.
"RUN!!!," Damian yelled to the students
Hearing that the students began screaming and running towards the gymnasium. As they ran away the sound of decrepit laughing could be heard behind them.
Running as fast as they could the students and Mark tried to make it to the gymnasium. As they got closer they could hear the sound of arrows flying through the air and students screaming in pain before falling.
Seeing people dieing right before them other students fell in fear while others began pushing each other to get to safety.
Reaching the gymnasium Damian held the door open for people to get inside. As students ran inside the goblins got closer killing those lacking behind. When Mark reached the door he punched Damian inside before closing the door shut and stopping any more students from entering.
"What the hell are you doing there are still people out there!" Damian yelled standing up
"Please open the door!!"
"Please help! They're killing us!"
"Oh God Help!!!"
As the screams of students stopped blood could be seen pooling into the gym from under the door.
"Y-you killed them! They could have made it!" Damian yelled at Mark
"No, they wouldn't. those things would have just gotten in!" yelled back
"Look we don't have time to argue hurry up a gather things to barricade the door," Johnson said at the other students

As more hordes of monsters appeared they began killing hundreds of thousands of humans.
While a horde was trying to get into the gymnasium part of them ran into the school and began causing chaos.
Killing students who tried to run away while capturing the female students and dragging them away.
Inside of the Staffroom Jessica and the other teachers with a group of students barricaded the door and hid under desks.
As the monsters overtook the school the sound of screams of pain and agony could be heard throughout the halls.
(Oh god, Klaus where are you?... Please I-I can't lose you please be safe) Jessica begged while wiping tears

In the middle of the chaos the bathroom where Klaus was, remains empty. After a bit of time, two goblins walked inside and began looking around.

"Hmm, what the hell happened ?" Klaus said opening his eyes and holding his head
[Host are you alright]
"Oh, so it wasn't a dream...yeah I'm fine" Klaus replied seeing the system
Standing up Klaus walked out of the stall and was surprised when a small green monster holding a knife stood before him.
With a growl, the monster lunged at Klaus. Before he realized his body moved on it own and kicked the monster in its head throwing it into a wall and killing it.

Before he could pay attention to the notification another goblin charged at him. As it jumped at Klaus he threw a punch that hit its head and sent it flying into the wall. Before it could get up Klaus charged at it and stomped on its head.

"So you were telling the truth...Goblins," Klaus laughed
[I would never lie to the host]
"Yeah yeah...W-what?" Klaus said catching his reflection in a mirror
His ears were long and pointed and markings on his hands that he had never seen before.

"Oh, I see...That is surprising my body really changed," Klaus laughed

"Nice so I'm three times stronger than most people," Klaus said with a grin
Taking a few minutes he looked through all of his new skills and bloodline traits. While looking through those things he heard the sound of someone screaming in the distance.
Closing the system he took out his spear Chastiefol. Leaving the bathroom his nose was hit with the thick smell of blood.
"What the fuck," Klaus said covering his mouth
Covering the floor halls were bodies of fellow students all the males killed brutally while the females lay their bodies naked and 'used', with lifeless eyes.
"Jessica, Damian. I need to find them," Klaus thought seeing the sense before him
Using the knowledge given to him he activated his observation Haki and began looking for the two. Since his range was only three meters he could into find them but he did find three goblins right above him.
Heading to the staircase he ran into two more goblins. Dashing forward he trusted his spear at the clueless goblin blowing it ahead of killing it.

Seeing his comrade killed the other goblin charged at Klaus but with a single slash of his spear, he cut off the goblin's head killing it.

Running up to the third floor Klaus was surprised. A group of at least ten goblins stood before him all of them either eating the males or r@peing the females.
"Just hold on a little longer Jess I will find you," Klaus said clenching his spear
