In One Piece, As Harem King

Chapter 1: Chapter 1 Transmigrating.

Chapter -1.

"4998, 4999, 5000!"

A fourteen or fifteen-year-old boy by the sea, with only his head above water, continuously swung a wooden sword in his hand, each strike incredibly swift, but the blows against the ocean only splashed up tiny waves.

"7802, 7803... 9999, 10000!"

After swinging a total of ten thousand times, the boy slowly walked onto the beach and then collapsed onto the sand as if all the strength in his body had been drained.

"Huff, huff, huff... It's been a year since I came to this world. My body should be ready for the next phase of training."

The boy's name was Arthur, and Arthur was a transmigrator, yes, the kind that is quite common. To be specific, Arthur was a soul transmigrator. As for why he transmigrated, in short—he died!

As for how he transmigrated? Scientifically, it could be due to passing through a black hole, a spatial node, or even falling into a wormhole. From a mythological perspective, it could be seen as crossing through infinite space, influenced by the vast universe...

Well, alright, I can't keep this up. Arthur himself didn't know why he transmigrated; all he knew was that he did, and to put it simply, he just transmigrated without any reason.

The story begins a year ago...

A year ago, when Arthur woke up in this world, he found himself lying in bed, feeling extremely weak.

Then, a flood of memories surged into his mind. After merging those memories, Arthur learned that this body was thirteen years old, an orphan who had always aspired to become a great swordsman. However, to make a living, he could only work as a deckhand on a ship. Unfortunately, he encountered pirates and was cruelly thrown into the sea by them.

Thinking of this, Arthur felt that the original owner of this body was a miracle of life, having been saved without a scratch—oh no, not completely unscathed, because he died, allowing Arthur to cross over. With that in mind, Arthur felt he should be grateful for the miracle of life.

Through the memories, Arthur also learned what kind of world this was—the world of One Piece, yes, the world filled with pirates.

At that moment, Arthur was stunned. Although he liked One Piece in his previous life, he didn't want to be in this world.

Why did other people get to transmigrate to other worlds to farm, or have systems to level up, or write novels in parallel worlds, while he ended up in a world where people could easily blow up mountains? Arthur really wanted to cry; the key point was that he transmigrated without even having a system—what a poor rating!

Since realising he had come to the world of One Piece, Arthur felt a deep sense of crisis. Though One Piece depicted a lot of fun, it was still a comic!!!

This was a world of pirates. What are pirates? They are a group of people who kill, set fires, and commit robbery without any moral restraint, not like the Straw Hat Pirates who only know adventures. Don't believe it? Look at the original owner of this body; he was killed by pirates. In his memories, he recalled that those people, just for fun, threw him into the sea. And remember, there are sea kings in this world.

So the question arises: to survive in this world, one must possess power. Otherwise, as an ordinary person, one would never know when they might encounter pirates and meet their end. Just thinking about it made Arthur want to cry; he must have encountered a fake transmigration.

Just as Arthur was lost in thought, a blue-haired beauty wearing a yellow plaid shirt walked in from outside.

"You're awake."

Arthur propped up his weak body and raised his head, saying, "Sister, did you save me?"

"Yes!" The blue-haired beauty nodded. "Can you tell me what happened to you?"

"I encountered pirates," Arthur said calmly. He couldn't help but be calm; to him, it felt like someone else's experience, having nothing to do with him.

However, the blue-haired beauty didn't think so. She believed it was because Arthur had endured great harm that he was so indifferent, trying to cover up his own pain.

The blue-haired beauty hugged Arthur tightly, crying with great affection:

"Woo, woo, woo, it's so pitiful. At such a young age, you suffered such a terrible thing. Don't be afraid; your sister is here now, and you don't have to be scared anymore."

Caught in the soft embrace, Arthur was momentarily stunned. What was happening? How did it turn into this? But the big sister's arms were so soft, so big, and so fragrant.

Looking at Arthur, who revealed a relieved smile in her embrace, the blue-haired beauty's desire to protect him grew even stronger.

"Little brother, what's your name?"

"My name is Arthur, I'm thirteen years old this year. What's your name, big sister?" Arthur looked up with an innocent smile, but hugged even tighter.

The blue-haired beauty paid no attention to Arthur's actions, believing it to be a child's instinctive reaction when finding a safe haven after a disaster.

"My name is Aiko. From now on, you'll be my little brother, and we will be a family, okay?"

"A family?" Arthur's eyes brightened, and he felt secretly pleased. "Hmm, that sounds good."

"Great! From now on, you will be my little brother, Arthur."

Aiko ruffled Arthur's hair. "You must be hungry, little brother. I'll prepare some food for you." With that, she freed herself from Arthur's arms and went to cook.

Before long, Aiko returned with a plate of seafood fried rice. Arthur was really hungry, and he quickly devoured the entire plate. After finishing, he lay back in Aiko's embrace and chatted with her.

Through their conversation, Arthur learned that he was in Bauhinia Village in the East Sea, and that Aiko ran a small restaurant in the village. On that day, she had found him unconscious at sea while shopping for food on another island and saved him.

That night, Arthur lay alone in bed, reflecting on the information he had gathered from Aiko. He secretly resolved that since he had come to this world, he must work hard to become strong for his own sake and then travel the seas; otherwise, how could he justify his journey to this world?

With his determination set, Arthur had a good night's sleep. The next morning, he got up at dawn and started running.

Aiko, who woke up early, habitually went to Arthur's room. When she saw he wasn't there, she panicked and hurried out of the shop to look for him, just as Arthur was returning from his run.

"Good morning, sis Aiko!"

Seeing Arthur come back from running, Aiko felt relieved and immediately scolded, "Where did you go?"

"I went running."

"Running? Don't you know you just recovered? How could you go running?"

Arthur looked at Aiko, who was lecturing him, and felt a warmth in his heart. "Aiko, I'm fine now. After eating the food you made yesterday, I recovered."

Aiko's anger subsided a bit upon hearing Arthur's words, but she still admonished him, "That doesn't mean you can engage in such intense exercise."

Arthur lowered his head, about to cry. "Aiko, I want to become strong. I absolutely refuse to feel weak and powerless the next time I encounter pirates."

Hearing this, Aiko felt a pang in her heart. After such a terrifying experience, how could little Arthur tolerate his own helplessness? She couldn't say much but advised him to act according to his abilities.

With Aiko's permission, Arthur began his training regimen.

Running, push-ups, sit-ups, weight training...

Every day, Arthur exhausted himself, but the results were evident. Feeling the power within his body, Arthur was thrilled. This world was truly amazing; training was incredibly effective.

Firstly, this world contained a type of energy unknown to Arthur. As long as one worked hard to build up, the body could quickly absorb this energy, making oneself stronger.

Perhaps the people of this world didn't realise this, but as someone from a heavily polluted modern society, Arthur felt deeply about it. Ever since he arrived in this world, every breath felt incredibly refreshing. The effects of training for one day in this world were stronger than training for ten days in his previous life.

Secondly, this world had no smartphones, no computers, no online games, and most importantly, no internet—no interenet, no internet. This was an important point worth repeating.

In this world without the internet, Arthur, who had been a homebody in his previous life, found his tendencies completely erased by this internet-free environment.

He slept as soon as it got dark and woke up at dawn, completely curing his laziness from his previous life.
